The shoot was arranged as a result of a casting call for a tog to work with a professional ballerina. I like ballet and wanted some shots for my portfolio. Erica and I exchanged ideas. Erica turned early at the studio bubbling with enthusiasm. We quickly decided on the first outfit. Erica is a trained ballerina. Her dancing was absolutely fantastic. I was able to capture an array positions that were elegant, classic and chic. Erica is great to work with. She has a fun sense of humour listens well and of course was able to direct herself. I will definately be working with Erica again.

Had my first shoot with Erica and a male professional dancer today in Silkwood studios. We created some terrific images as a pair and as solo - Erica has amazing poise and grace in her positions and movement - and worked hard to get the shots I wanted. The shoot left me with many more concepts to develop in readiness for a future shoot. Highly recommended .

Second shoot with Erica - and it was just as good if not better than the first. This time based in the studio and we rattled through a range of ideas in the couple of hours we had together.

Erica is quite a phenomenal dancer and some of the shapes she can create are just stunning. Would not hesitate to recommend Erica if you fancy adding something a little but different to your portfolio.

I had the pleasure of working with Erica today at a photoshoot in West Yorkshire. Erica is an extremely talented professional dancer / model who has a positive approach to her work. She is able to provide a wide variety of static and action 'poses', which when combined with the correct lighting allow great images to be captured.

I had my first shoot with Erica yesterday at a group shoot in Cleckheaton and it was fabulous. She was very well organised and efficient and brought numerous dance outfits with her. Erica is a lovely young lady and her experience and confidence in dance and holding positions made the shoot very easy and enjoyable for me and I came away with what I consider to be some stunning shots.

I have already spoken to her about another shoot at some time in the future! So can't wait for this to happen.

Had my first shoot today with Erica as part of a group shoot. I had heard many good and positive things about Erica and I wasn’t disappointed on the day.

Despite there being quite a large group Erica was prepared to keep on going so we could all get the shots we wanted no matter how many attempts it took. She is an absolute gem, so professional and taking so much pride in what she does. It made for a really enjoyable day.

Would definitely recommend her and will hopefully work with her again some time soon.

Shot with Erica today on one of my studio groupshoots. Erica worked extremely hard throughout the shoot to ensure everyone got amazing shots. The outfits Erica brought along were first class. Such an elegant and gracious dancer who is dream to work with.

I hope we have many more shoots together and am already working on when we can do our next one.

Shadows and LIght

I responded to Erica's casting call looking to explore the characters of the White Swan/Black Swan as I had wanted to attempt some studio dance photography for some time. We booked into the Hallam Mill studio which has a terrific infinity cove perfect for such work.

Erica was absolutely marvellous to work with. She has a lovely personality and as a dancer she is absolutely outstanding. She put a great deal of thought and effort into the shoot and worked tirelessly to make sure we achieved the very best results. Even a costume malfunction didn't phase her.

I was in awe of the creativity and beauty she brought to her interpretation of the classic dance and some of her physical movements and expressions were breathtaking. She added significant input to the creative process but was also able to react and respond to my somewhat "arty" and nebulous instructions with a true dancers instinct. I only hope that I have done justice to all her work!

Erica is a real trooper and I would recommend her to anyone who has an interest in this genre of photography as she will not disappoint. I for one hope to be able to work with her again.

I shared a full 8 hour shoot with YorkPhotoStudio working with Erica. We covered masses of dance inspired sets right through from en-pointe ballet to contemporary work then ending with some experimental impressionistic work using continuous lights and long exposures. Erica is highly skilled at what she does and a top, genuine professional working to ensure that we got the shots we were looking for even if it meant shooting again and again, especially in the experimental work. Extremely patient and fabulous to work with an artist and creative of such calibre. Thanks very much and very best wishes, it was a fabulous shoot :-)

I Shot Erica at my studio in York with good friend and fellow photographer Iwfoto. From the first communication Erica was spot-on, clear communication, understood the brief and full of ideas. Erica went the extra mile and found a male dancer to do some duo work, and when the dancer found he was double booked she did everything to find a replacement- right up to midnight on the eve of the shoot.

We shot for a full 8 hours and Erica was incredible- never faltered, never tired and we had her en pointe for big parts of the day - she is so graceful and powerful.

Totally recommended, this lady is a true dancer - and will teach you things as a photographer that you didn’t know you needed to understand to make those images really stand out :)

One of the most professional, passionate and inspiring dancers you will ever shoot with. And I am honoured to be able to call her my friend!

I first shot with Erica around 4 years ago and have been shooting with her at least twice a year ever since. She never stops to surprise me even when I get her to stand in the cold and rain, she is so determined to her craft that we always end up getting poses that are held to perfection. As she understands the importance of clean lines she is meticulous in her work and will always give it her all in any shoot thrown her way. Full of energy and laughter, she makes every shoot fun and enjoyable.

I met Erica for a shoot yesterday, I can honestly say she is probably one of the loveliest people I've ever had the pleasure to work with.

She is such an incredible dancer. Insanely talented, highly motivated and extremely professional. I am so glad I had the opportunity to work with her. Thought the entire shoot she made me feel so comfortable and at ease, the conversations flowed so naturally. It was almost as if I had known her for years! She is absolutely STUNNING as a person and in her dancing. I was amazed at how determined she was to nail the poses.

DO NOT HESITATE TO WORK WITH HER. I can't put into words how much I would highly recommend working with her. I would love to work with Erica again and look forward to what could happen in the future!

Did my first ever 'Urban Ballet' with Erica today, to say I was in total awe of her skills is an understatement. great communication leading up to the shoot and she arrived fully prepared with a variety of outfits. She's a great sport and was open to try anything as well and bringing her own ideas which was fantastic.

Very easy to work with, required little direction and a fantastic all rounder.

I would definitely recommend her for your next project.. Hopefully our paths will cross again.

Erica is the most self critical, perfectionist dancer I've ever met in my life. I've known her for a long(!) time and have shot with her more times han I can remember (not difficult at my age). She's way more organised than the Tory party could ever wish to be, turns up well in advance of the shoot; Is always prepared clothing wise, understands via previous comms what the shoot aims to achieve (if you don't tell her, she WILL ask - see organised comment above).

What do you get with Erica? A born professional that knows her body, it's limits, what she can / can't do and what she's prepared to attempt will stagger you. Nothing and I mean NOTHING puts this woman on edge. Add to that her excellent skills as a dancer and you're guaranteed to walk away with a ridiculous smile on your face.

Well, until you realise you've got to then choose your shots to edit. You'll be spoilt for choice.

Book her. Money well spent.

What a brilliant two hours I have just had in a park in Huddersfield with Erica. Such an incredibly talented dancer and model to boot.

We got through what felt like loads - she could even follow my very precise dance instructions, 'do a jumpy thing', 'can we do some bendy stuff'. My twelve weeks of dance at uni didn't go to waste after all.

This was one of those shoots that you learned the art of the possible as we went. This shoot was amazing, but the next one has the potential to be even better.

Erica is chatty and fun and so the shoot felt dead easy.
