I worked with Simon on a 1960s mod shoot he had arranged an awesome car and scooter to meet us at the shoot I had an absolute blast Simon made me forget the camera was even there and made me so relaxed and we got some awesome images as a result. He had been let down by a model but you wouldn't know it! He handled the shoot and the unpredicted turn it had taken with ease and professionalism would definitely recommend him to anyone :-) thanks Simon :-)

Beauty Classics

It was great to meet and work with Simon on today's shoot. This was a theme which I had never tried before and a great opportunity with some amazing vintage vehicles and two stunning models. I'm really looking forward to seeing the photos.

I couldn't say the preparations and lead up to the shoot went to plan as coordinating so many elements is challenging especially when weather/timing dependent (including model phoning at shoot start time to say she was unwell and wouldn't be coming) however Simon handled everything with integrity and professionalism. He organised new models and the shoot was able to go ahead if a little later in the day! I would highly recommend Simon and hope to work with him again in the future.

I met Simon on Sunday, he made me feel very comfortable and at ease, a very enjoyable day, I had great fun. Met Simon at the Pit and Pendulum in Nottingham for a photographer and model event. I found my time with him very fun and creative. He got me to do things which no other photographer has asked me to do before. I think he was very impressed with my monkey, lion, bear etc, sounds. I recommend any model to work with this gentleman as you will feel relaxed and have a fab time.

Having met Simon as a model working with him and having him along to the studio, I can say that he is a lovely chap, who gives clear direction and has his vision in mind but is open to ideas from those involved. He is easy to work with and welcome back anytime!

There were many options there and simon made the most of them, spotting great places for images as we walked along.

I've known Simon for around two years during which time we have become good mates, sharing our interests in photography and love for photographing people. I often take a peep at his portfolio here on PP which often causes me to be either inspired or for me to give up! As you can see, his references from the models he has worked with emphasize his professional manner and ability to strike up a comfortable rapport with them. I have seen that first hand when working alongside him at group photoshoots. Simon is a great guy and needs no endorsement from me about the high standard of his work - his portfolio speaks for itself.

I met Simon at a "gathering of creatives" aka Lakeside Group shoot and what a top bloke!! We shot a couple of models side by side as photographers which was a real pleasure, we were both conscious of each others presence there and "did the right thing" in letting the other get their shots.

He has a superb portfolio and looking at his work is a bit like being a "kid in a candy shop". I recommend any photographer who wants to work alongside another one. Simon is courteous and certainly helpful if you have questions about any particular shot.

Models... this guy will make you look awesome!! Simple as that. I think his work speaks for itself!! Check it out then check HIM out for some great images!!

I worked with Simon at the lakeside group shoot and he really regained my love for modelling for me. Simon was very sensitive to how I was feeling and made me feel comfortable straight the way.

Simon and I produced lovely images and I'm so happy with them.

What can I say xx Simon is always full of ideas and is always ready to embrace mine xx this shoot was at a very cold wet rainy lakeside so we weren't able to do the great fun shoot we had in mind that's been saved for better weather what we did get was once again as usual from Simon some portraits to make you cry with joy and some very beautiful bridal xxxx you will never get a bad picture from Simon what you will get is a professional relaxed shoot from a true gentleman xxx

I worked with simon very briefly yesterday. He was light hearted and genuine. He took some lovely photos of Rebecca in my garments and I cannot thank both of them enough for doing this.

I would recommend that work with him, and would love to do so again myself.

had another shoot with simon. he is a very good photographer is open to ideas but gives good direction when needed. he shows the pictures hes taking during shoot and will take so many just to get the perfect image. he has some great locations this one was at a waterfall was cold but the images looked great from what i have seen cant wait to see them after edited thanks for the fun shoot ayesha x

Halo Haynes

Simon gave great communication before and up until the meeting on the day. He drove the MUA, Jessica Rose and myself to a great location in Heanor I had never visited and we did two looks. He was happy to let me pose away, throwing in a little direction when he particularly liked a pose or expression, which allowed me to move freely and produce natural poses.

I liked that he was happy to try new ideas with some motion shots that were previously unplanned in the shoot but had lots of ideas of his own. We must have taken about a million images on the day in quite a short amount of time after MUA was complete and I look forward to seeing the best of those as some previews I saw back of camera were lovely :)
