Splash Point Photo Studio

After lurking in the shadows of social media and threatening to come to Splash Point, I finally met Dean at a weekend with Ell Mae. Chatty and cheerful throughout, Dean was generous with his time and even bought some Pizza! Anyone who does Pizza and/or tea is a winner in my book.

Had a superb shoot with Dean on location in Cumbria.

We were blessed with nice light and good weather. Dean is a great photographer so I can't wait to see the images we took, we got some really amazing shots!

Pre coms were excellent and I was made to feel very comfortable and at ease whilst shooting. He's always making sure you're happy, warm and we stopped to have breaks often.

Really enjoyed the banter and trying to hop skip jump over the bog (with hilarious results when one of us didn't quite manage it!)

Thoroughly recommend working with this man, especially if you wanna have a good fun time!

I had a fantastic remote shoot with Dean. This was our first time working together and it was awesome. Dean had plenty of ideas and was fun to chat too as went along. He worked the software really easily and he comes highly recommended from me!

I shot with Dean on a remote shoot last week for a few hours! Dean got in touch with me via facebook and we had a really productive shoot!

Dean is pretty relaxed when it comes to what he wants to shoot so we kind of went with the flow on the day and shot a nice variety of looks and genres. I think the highlight could have been the butternut squash story...LOL-!

As has been said all along, remote shoots are not a replacement for 'in person shoots' but, as has been proved now over and over- they are a fabulous and creative alternative while we are unable to shoot face to face.

Dean was super friendly, very chatty and we got some cracking shots- some of which Dean has shared with me already which is super duper kind!!

I really hope we can shoot again one day :D

Had yet another great shoot with Dean!

Dean kindly helped me on a project I was involved with, despite me approaching him,Dean was full of enthusiasm for the shoot and brought the energy he always does! He also was so generous to edit the images and get them to me very quickly which was a huge help that I really appreciated!

Dean is a friend and it is always wonderful to work together as it’s a relaxed and fun shoot always! You must work with Dean if you haven’t already! He is such a nice person and a brilliant photographer.

I had a wonderful shoot with Dean last week on my recent premium location remote tour!

I had worked with Dean in person before and have known him for quite some time now so we already had a good rapport built up before our shoot. Our remote shoot was super creative and I absolutely loved the team work that went into it too, with my husband on hand as assistant (bless his heart we had him hanging over the stairs with the camera on a tripod hahaa BUT it was so so so worth it for the killer shot that came out of it!). We really took our time to perfect our sets/poses and it was a real team effort throughout which was amazing!

A wonderful shoot and catch up and can't wait to work with Dean again, whether remotely or in person, and can't wait to host him on my next UK event in July too :D

Although only our second shoot, Dean and I clicked straight away and our second remote shoot, was with the added assistance of J Black Photographic. Dean is a fantastic gentleman, polite and professional throughout the shoot and conversation always easily flows.

He has great camera and software knowledge which is incredibly helpful when it comes to remote shooting!

I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again and hope to do so in person someday! See you next weekend!

I had a wonderful first shoot with Dean today, we shot remotely from Dean's home to my home studio.

This was the first time we had met and worked together, Dean made me feel conformable right from the off.

Dean is great fun and very easy person to chat to, conversation just flowed and it felt like a more normal face to face shoot rather than a remote one.

We shot a range of different styles and looks and I am thrilled with what we achieved in the 3hr shoot.

I found Dean to be friendly, good company, creative and great fun.

I hope we can work together again whether it be in person or remotely.

We worked together this past weekend 02/07/2021.

We worked together remotely with Dean in the UK and myself in Turks and Caicos Islands in the Caribbean.

Not only was the shoot highly productive and a fun experience I loved chatting with Dean throughout our time together.

I felt super comfortable, highly free to pose and create on my own, and a general love for the process when Dean is on the other side.

I had a huge smile on my face for most of the shoot and I would say too that Dean is one of the best remote shooters I have worked with.

Knowledgeable, trustworthy, and very kind.

100% will work with Dean again, we have our next shoot on the books and it will be another remote shoot (at the beach) until we can meet in person.

Where to begin! If you haven’t worked with Dean already,you seriously need to!

Dean is a wonderful person to work with! He is very friendly and respectful always and I couldn’t be more relaxed when shooting with him.

Dean is very helpful and helped me so much yesterday to set up my camera and laptop for tethered remote shoots. I don’t know what I would have done without him and I can’t thank him en light for sorting so much for out me, we spent a lot of the shoot during this but it was worth it!

The images we did take were amazing! Dean had some great ideas that I thought might not work at first but they definitely did pay off! They are some of my favourites!

I couldn’t recommend working with Dean more and I am very excited to shoot with him again in the future.

Absolutely fantastic shoot! Dean has many many stories and I was laughing the whole way through the shoot! I thoroughly enjoyed myself and felt so relaxed within 5 minutes of shooting! I was very nervous before the shoot as it has been a while since I've shot with a new photographer and my second ever remote shoot, but Dean was very relaxed and made me feel at ease!

Shot for the first time with Dean yesterday! It did have to be a virtual shoot but nevertheless it went really well!

I had wanted to work with Dean for a long time as I’d seen how fantastic his previous work had been and knew he was a very supportive person in this community! It is apparent how passionate Dean is about shoots and it definitely makes working with someone who enjoys what they’re doing so much more enjoyable for the model too!

Dean is very friendly and chatty, which made the shoot flow well, he is very easy going too and let us experiment with our ideas!

I would definitely recommend working with Dean if you haven’t already and I cannot wait to work with him again in the future!

Dean is a ledge!!! Honestly - I don't know if I've got the exact date right because I am grossly behind with references and just realised that I have sung all the praises of the delightful group of photographers I shot with at TankSpace venue last year... All but Dean! *Scolds self seriously!* I'm a twonk sometimes - alas it's no reflection on the highly positive first shooting experience I had with this gent, and I do hope it shall not be the last! 😊

It was a privately organised group event at the very special underwater venue for which I stood in for quite last minute. So I got to meet Dean and a few others for the first time entirely by fate! But I was very grateful to have been invited along - the group was made up of the sweetest people (with great reputations to go with). Although the day was run in a relatively busy manner as the models rotated with taking the dive and then instantly getting ready for their next round, Dean and I did manage to grab a little chat and giggle which was lovely. We'd actually spoken a while back during a photography Zoom social as well so I knew he was a super nice guy. One way or another there was a lot of familiarity with everyone and it did result in a very positive and high spirited vibe for the day. ❤

And - underwater modelling?! I mean, enough said! It was a significantly creative day with all kinds of looks and floaty mermaid goodness going down. Also my first ever visit to TankSpace... I feel really glad that I had the chance to dip my toes in (quite literally!) with such a good bunch. And that Dean and I had our first round at shootiness in such an epic and creative manner. 😃

Very happy to offer my recommendation based on a lovely group shoot experience attended by Dean. Hopefully we can plan something one to one before long! 👌
