I think the whole world knows by now (because I shout it from the rooftops) that I adore working with Dave - so when he asks to work with myself AND my wonderful duo partner LEnza, I can’t contain my excitement, because talk about dream team! This was out 3rd time working together as a trio, the 2nd within Daves own studio, and by golly did Dave outdo himself YET AGAIN! I’m sure that Val and myself screeched with excitement at every idea he announced throughout the shoot! Not only was the day the most enjoyable, as expected, but the images are wildly creative and finished to the best standard of course, as always is with Dave. I know I always say this, but thank you so much Dave for always trusting me to live out your creative thoughts and I will forever be grateful that you want to work with me 🙏 Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Dave is a lovely human being, kind and gentle. He is also an incredible talented photographer with a super creative mind!! I love shooting with him because every time he has some interesting and unique ideas!

After having had the pleasure of Dave booking a quick 2 hour slot on myself & LEnza’s last studio dat at Apex Creative, Birmingham last month, we were blessed once again when Dave asked to book us for a duo shoot at his personal studio last week 😊 it’s common knowledge that I’m always overjoyed working with Dave, so to have this opportunity truly felt like my dream team had been put together in creative bliss! I had the best 4 hours and was so excited about every set we worked our way through. Can’t wait to see and share the images in time! Once again, thank you Dave for trusting us to help create your visions and I look forward to the next time.

When Beth told me that Dave booked a couple of hours for our model day together at Apex Studio in Bham I was super excited! I have been admiring Dave work since ages, super happy we finally had the chance to work together!

He arrived in time, ready with moodboard, props and lots of creative amazing ideas.

Dave is a very talented photographer, skilled and with lots of creative ideas. Plus a lovely, warm and friendly personality.

The 2 hours run so fast that we didn’t have the time to go through all the ideas but hopefully there will be a second chance in the future :) I would love to work with Dave again! Super recommended to any models. Thank you Dave!

It is no secret that Dave is one of my fave togs to work with and an idol of creativity, so when I received the text from him asking to book onto my latest studio day (first ever duo day with Lenza @ Apex Creative) I was beyond happy. He took the first 2 hours of the day and what a way to kick the day off! The three of us worked our way through some weird of wonderful sets, all of which I know Dave will turn into some of the best images in my folio. Thank you for another fabulous shoot Dave, it was a pleasure to work with you once again (the first outside of your own studios!) and it was an honour to begin this day with you.

I have shot with Dave so many times now that I have lost count of how many exactly, but each time I look forward to our next shoot even more than the previous! Dave is one of the most creative and artistic photographers I know and his ideas never fail to astound me (in a positive way!). I feel honoured to be a model at the forefront of Daves mind when he is selecting someone for said shoot, an am equally as excited about the fact I am the first model to shoot in his new studio, which is unsurprisingly a fantastic space by the way! Not only can I not wait to see what he makes of the images we shot, but I also can’t wait to see what more he makes of his new space as time goes on! High recommended, as always. Thank you Dave!

I had a fantastic shoot with Dave and Tim, i always get worried about full day booking and what we are going to do but as soon as i got there they sat down with me and my worries dissipated, they offered some tea, explain some of their ideas, and they had some amazing ideas, they made sure i was comfortable and dave was a great conversationalist, i love the way he play with light and he know what he want, hes clear and concise, and above a kind and respectful person, the picture looked amazing and i had so much fun, the day went by flying and i didnt see the time going by, i wish i had more shoots with such talented photographers, i cant thank him enough for making my job so fun and creating with people like him is the reason i keep pursuing modelling, i cant wait to see the pictures and i cant recommand him enough to everyone, hes an amazing person and adaptable to multiple situations and people so i can ensure you you'll have an amazing time with him!

I have worked with Dave many times before and each time astounds me more than the last; his ideas always out-do one other and each time I visit his studio he seems to have created a whole new space (literally, his skill for creating sets is phenomenal). Then this time was completely different again as he was sharing his space and shoot time with Derwood. As well as shooting his own sets, Dave and Derwood also collabed for other sets and each created totally incredible contrasting work. I’m LOVING the images I’ve seen so far and can’t wait to one day add these to my collection. We worked on movement and intentional blur for the firsts time together too, which I guess was our ‘first’ together for this shoot (there’s always something to challenge us each shoot 😊) which was particularly great as I love pushing comfort zones to create magic! Thank you Dave and I look forward to working with you again one day soon (I hope!)

I had an amazing shoot with Dave during my midlands tour. He is always a pleasure to work with - relaxed, but productive and always brings such brilliant and creative ideas to the table! He built elaborate sets, and we managed such a variety in the end. From funny to emotive, always with a story in the background too. Thoroughly enjoy working with Dave, would recommend to anyone. Oh & he has jaffa cakes at his studio... reason enough!

As ever, pre-shoot communication was excellent,and he arrived on time.

I worked with Dave for the first time yesterday in his studio near the centre of Birmingham.

Upon arrival I felt instantly at ease as Dave was welcoming, accommodating, friendly and professional. Throughout the shoot Dave was very attentive offering plenty of breaks, drinks and biscuits ! as well as checking if the studio was warm enough. I found the studio a lovely warm environment to work in.

Overall, I had a really positive experience and would highly recommend Dave. Looking forward to seeing the results !

I've lost count of the number of times I've worked with Dave ,that should count as a recommendation in itself. His communication is always spot on ,he's organised ,polite, creative and the time spent in his studio always whizzes past. The studio itself is clean spacious and well equipped. I can yet again wholeheartedly recommend Dave to other models.

Had a great shoot with Dave!

It was our first time working together and my first time working with Beth Kate as well. It was a duo shoot and we covered a range of set ups, from story scenes to dance movement poses.

Dave was easy to work with, he knew exactly what he wanted us to do and we all achieved each shot. Dave was very welcoming and was a great host, always offering breaks between our dance shots and of course tea/coffee and snacks!

The warm studio was greatly appreciated. Multiple heaters - good for dancers! A great studio space! I can't wait to see the final results.

I hope to work with Dave again very soon!

I shot with Dave once again yesterday and it was just as magical as every other time I have stepped foot in his studio! Dave has been wanting to organise a duo dance shoot (male and female) for a while now, but of course COVID got in the way just as he mentioned these ideas and so duo work was put to the side until recently. Dave set this shoot up earlier this month after having also been in conversation with Hamish, and yesterday was finally the day! We worked through some creative characterisation scenes first which was beyond fun (and also a great warm up as neither I nor Dave had worked with Hamish previously), then we moved onto the main purpose of the shoot and worked through a multitude of sets involving partner work and lifts. It’s always a pleasure to work with Dave and I feel honoured that he has invited me back to his studio multiple times! BOC images looked incredible, so I can only imagine how they will turn out once Dave has worked his post-processing magic! Thanks again Dave, I look forward to sharing our work together once again!

I had a marvellously creative and surreal shoot with Dave, modelling as a duo with Amethyst on my recent Birmingham visit. Dave had tons of interesting ideas, unusual props and gorgeous garments for us to use and he had prepared mood boards for us to work from. He welcomed us to his fantastic studio, where I felt very comfortable. During the shoot we all bounced ideas off each other, resulting in some weird and wonderful conceptual images. I would love to work with Dave again and can give him my heartfelt recommendation.

So I had what we think is our 6th shoot with Dave on Monday and as always, no shock here, I love every single moment. Having worked together so successfully multiple times before, we really do just vibe off one another now but on top of that Dave’s ideas are always just so out of this world that I’m forever in awe of the ideas we are working on bringing to life. Following on from a previous shoot, we focuses on a couple of still life sets which I’m really excited to see. But other than that, this shoot felt totally different in the sense that every other idea Dave has for this shoot involved telling a story. We shot to his dialogue and I loved this because it’s a method I am rarely given the opportunity to shoot by. Thank you yet again Dave, I cannot wait to see the final images and as always will be counting down the days ‘til our next creative shoot!

After 6 months of not shooting together (thank you COVID), Dave & I finally got back in his studio and got down to doing what we truly do best! Dave always has the best imagination and also a ability to relay this into a still image, so I’m always super excited to work with him and I never have any doubts that the final images will be anything but outstanding. For the first time together we shot out on location for part of our half day shoot too! I can’t wait to see everything we created, both on location and in the studio. I truly look forward to the next time Dave, thank you!
