So lucky me got to model with the lovely Darren at Hallam Mill studio!

What a wonderful time we had!! I was a bit stressed as I was late due to cancelled trains - but Darren was calm and very down to earth and instantly put me at ease!

This was my first shoot with Darren, yet you wouldn't think it as the poses and images we created together were brilliant! I was very comfortable shooting with Darren, even when creating very intimate shapes with one another! This was because Darren was a total professional! He was respectful and was comfortable himself.

Darren is a very talented model! He really knows how to pose and is very adaptable. Not to mention super strong! He also saved me from falling and hurting myself - he was clearly always on guard whilst we were doing the more dangerous poses, which paid off as he literally caught me in mid-air before I fell on top of a toppled over chair. So of course, that was hugely appreciated!!

Darren has a wonderful range and is able to do all styles of modelling, from emotional to abstract! He was a joy to work with and i really hope we get to do something together again soon!

I don’t work with male models that often but I had the great pleasure of shooting with Darren and Artemis Fauna on a “Film Noir” evening yesterday.

Darren was very friendly, professional and easy to get on with, an all round “nice guy”. He was straight into character and worked extremely well with Sarah. He is very comfortable in-front of the camera, very expressive and needs little or no direction at all.

I would absolutely recommend him to models and photographers alike and hope to get the chance to work with him again.

Four years in a row now!!

Another awesome Halloween weekend with Darren- Film Noir evening again and a special Halloween event on Saturday.

As I have said before Darren is a superb male model- friendly, fun and versatile. His wardrobe is IMPRESSIVE!!

I am looking forward to hopefully making it five years in a row in 2019... :) Highly recommended!

Darren is an absolute trooper. Our shoot was delayed due to an accident and resultant road closure, and despite him being on the road for a total of six hours by the time he arrived, he was still ready and raring to go.

The shoot was a duo model shoot, with Darren working alongside Maleficent. Both models absolutely nailed each idea and concept that I put to them, I couldn't have asked for better. Darren's posing style, outfits choice and overall approach is excellent, and I look forward to shooting with him again in the future. Fully recommended!

Maleficent

This was my first shoot with Darren, and also my first time working with a male model. Darren is a true professional, despite being stuck in awful traffic on the way to the shoot he still arrived enthusiastic and ready to get going. I can understand why so many models recommend working with Darren, as he is incredibly respectful of his co-models and I felt completely comfortable working with him for the entire shoot. He is also a lovely guy, really easy going and fun to work with, and we had a lot of laughs throughout the long day. He was also kind enough to give me a lift home from the studio day, and was still positive and cheerful, even when we got stuck in awful traffic once again! I hope I get to work with him again in future, and he comes highly recommended from me!

I doubt you will work with many better models, he is almost psychic, he knows what you want before you do virtually. He's fit and toned but in no way intimidating. I was working with him today along with Maleficent, but I have already got another shoot booked with this man soon on his own.

We worked with Darren for the first time at our very busy multi room shoot at Sandon Studios. Right from the early booking stage Darren was friendly and extremely professional, which shone through clearly in his superb work throughout the day. Darren is an exceptional model, very aware of his body and expressions; and willing to undertake any direction with great focus, strength and energy.

Darren is very down to earth and great fun to chat to in between sets, and will be our first choice for any future shoot with a male model casting. Beyond highly recommended - he's a total star.

Had the good fortune of meeting and working with Darren during a Duo Workshop held at Pozers Studio. Whilst the sets were defined as part of the workshop Darren was very accommodating in terms of taking direction as well as offering up strong poses. Darren was extremely well prepared, a pleasure to photograph and as such I have no hesitation to HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to any fellow photographers. :)

I worked with Darren for the first time a few months ago at the amazing Pozers studio in Swindon on a photography workshop!

It was our first time working together as a duo, so I am always a little nervous but had heard such lovely things from many creatives over the years. I also loved his portfolio which is so varied and easily one of the best male models around.

Darren is very talented, extremely photogenic and a complete gentleman to meet and work with. He was very kind, humble and extremely respectful to pose with.

He is very organised, professional and extremely likeable. I really can't recommend him highly enough to all- a thoroughly lovely man anyone should work with!

I have had the outmost pleasure of working with Darren three times before prior to yesterdays "fourth" alongside Helen Diaz at a group shoot at PoZers Studio in Swindon.

The reason why I enjoy working with Darren, is because of his ability to change character, participation with ideas, his personality and his capacity to deliver very professional and high quality work.

PoZers hosted a duo day with our in house Model, Helen Diaz, and the fabulous Darren S, and what an amazing day this duo gave PoZers, and all my visiting photographers. This was DarrenS second visit to the studio, and hopefully there will be many more. His pre-shoot communication was faultless, he shared the duo day from the off, maximising our client attendance, and enabling us to sell out really quickly. Darren arrived nice and early, with more kit, than I have ever seen a Model bring to PoZers, bless him, he brought heaps and heaps of stunning choices for everyone. Darren is such a lovely guy, he made all the photographers, totally at ease from the off, and his wonderful personality, charisma and skills as a model, is exactly why he’s such a successful male model and highly sort after. Darren has done duos many times, this was only Helens second Male/female duo, and Darren made her feel at ease immediately, and the pair soon became comfortable around each other. DarrenS ability to emote, made some of the strongest duo images I’ve ever seen, at one point Darren gave Helen a red rose, on bended knee, and the sincerity in his eyes and face, was so intense, it was just like someone giving a rose to the person he loved most in the world, so his acting capabilities are phenomenal, as a model this is a wonderful trait. I think I might have ruined the moment, as I became mesmerised by the pose, facial expression and sincerity, and so I had to say something, it was just so strong, I had to compliment Darren, bless him, I put him off for a split second, but he soon went back into character, he’s amazing. As a Male Model, Darren has the look, the physique and a truly positive attitude, to the industry, he’s amazing at what he does, he’s so kind and caring, patient and creative, I really can’t recommend him highly enough. If you get the opportunity to work with this amazing young man, grab it with both hands, I can guarantee you he will fit whatever genre your looking for, and will work really hard, ensuring you achieve all the images, you desire. Darren is a 5 star gentleman, a 1st class Male Model, and a true inspiration to the industry, I certainly can’t wait to have him back at PoZers, he made my job such a dream. Thank you Darren, so much, for everything you did at the workshop, your a total star. :):):):):):)

In Search of That Perfect Shot..............

Had my 2nd shoot with Darren today, this time at The Studio, Cannock. To say he was well prepared would be an understatement as he had a very large collection of clothing and we were spoiled for choice! Awesome posing. Great pre-comms & punctual. Fun to work with whilst getting some great results in the camera. What else could you wish for ? Many thanks Darren. :)

Worked with Darren on a recent portrait shoot with a twist for photographer Pete at SepiaShots.

We had a lot of correspondence beforehand and Darren turned up with an extensive amount of costumes and props, we were spoilt for choice!

Daz was an absolute trooper as the 2 looks we shot were very body paint and makeup heavy and took some time, but he took it all in his stride and was incredibly patient. His costume ideas really helped to compliment the second look and his expressiveness and quick change of posing were very impressive and he really helped get the 'character' of each look right.

Not only that but he is great off screen, very easy to get along with and incredibly professional when shooting... Would highly recommend and hope to work together in the future!

I've worked with Darren a number of times and there's a reason for that. On screen he's brilliant, whether you what a villian, hardman or lost child. He can pull off all the poses and expressions you might throw at him. His communications are always spot on and he brings an entire warehouse with him of clothes, props, etc. He's happy to inject his ideas, he's patient and fun to be around. A real gem.

I can't recommend him enough.
