I had the please of my first visit to Catchlight Pics Studio. There was plenty of sets in different parts of the studio already set up ready for the shoot.

There was a very friendly atmosphere and very helpful. The shoot went along smoothly with Olga Solo as the model. You have the choice of where you want to shoot.

I had my second studio day at Catchlight Pics Studio last week and I had an absolute blast, as always.

Judging by the reaction from our attendees on the day, and the fact that the majority of them were return customers, Malc and Barb are brilliant hosts; welcoming, helpful and amazing company.

I’d recommend them and the spacious, interesting, well-equipped studio to others without hesitation and I’m so excited to have two further studio days booked there already.

Worked at the brilliant Catchlight Pics Studio earlier today and thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a small technical problem, not Malc or Barbs fault, that was soon overcome and I was shooting.

The owners were incredibly helpful throughout, I couldn't ask for better. They were on hand to move lights and help with the set-ups and then left me to get on with my shoot.

Had a great shoot last weekend at this great new studio. A themed model day with Miss Rosie Lea. The studio is equipped with a whole variety of sets and lighting and is amongst the best equipped that I've seen lately. Malcolm and/or Barbara will help with special requirements and can advise on lighting.

There is also a huge selection of clothes and accessories for use by visiting models.

I had another wonderful studio day at Catchlight Pics Studio.

I always loved creating a concept and then seeing it through to completion with Barb and Malc. They are both so creative and innovative and, I think together, we create such interesting narratives.

Our theme this time was Halloween with a focus, in particular, on a Miss Havisham jilted bride look. I tea-stained and destroyed a wedding dress in readiness, and I was so impressed and excited to see the two perfect sets Malc and Barb had created, complete with aging decor and spider webs.

The images as a result are beautiful, and the photographers who attended all left incredibly happy. So much so that 7 out of the 8 have booked onto our next studio day!

Malc and Barb, as always, were lovely hosts and their model’s comfort was at the forefront of their minds at all times.

I can’t wait to be back with them again in a few weeks time!

My second shoot at Catchlight_Pics_Studio and once again I cannot recommend it highly enough. The studio is an amazing collection of eclectic sets, complemented with a huge array of costumes and accessories. There were more sets added since my last visit and again, in 5 hours there wasn't enough time to shoot in them all. One of the new additions was an abandoned room, complete with spider webs and (plastic) spiders. Another was a Halloween-themed fantasy graveyard set complete with headstone and cauldron. There is also now a graffiti wall and paved floor too. The new sets were superb and say much for Malc's theatrical scenery experience. A great thing about the studio is that lighting is already rigged in some of the sets which saves a lot of time.

Malc and Barb are most welcoming hosts, and very keen to make the experience enjoyable and successful, and in this they excelled magnificently.

I can highly recommend the studio to everyone who wants a brilliant studio experience, and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

I had a shoot in Catchlight Pics recentrly and it was very cool experience! Thus studio is located in a very pinteresque place on a farm. The building is quite big, so there is a place for a lot of creative interiors! There is a nice changing room for a model and the biggest collection of the cloth and accessories that i ever seen!🤩

There is sooo much of beautiful dresses and intresting costumes! All accessories are disinfected attentively that is quite new for me too🤗

There is a lot of professional lighting and cool techniques for a shooting (such as bubble or smoke mashine or lamps with different colors).

The owners are super nice! They are worry about your comfort all the time and trying all there best to make your photoshoot perfect 🖤

I had another wonderful shoot at the studio last weekend when Malc and Barb booked me for an 8 hour day.

As always, the studio was warm, cosy and welcoming. Offers of tea coffee and cake were plentiful and the changing facilities were private and comfortable.

The studio itself is looking beautiful! There are so many new sets to play with every time I visit. Even in an 8 hour day it’s impossible to use everything available!

Malc and Barb are wonderful hosts and it’s clear that their model’s comfort and well being are top priority at all times. They’re incredibly welcoming and they do every possible to facilitate a relaxed and creative atmosphere.

I’d recommend the studio to other models wholeheartedly and I can’t wait to be back there again! 😊 Thanks both!

Would I recommend Catchlight Pics Studio? I most certainly would. It's an wonderful maze of well constructed and thought-out sets carefully positioned to ensure maximum use of the space. Unfortunately time constraints meant we were only able to use 3 of the sets but the results are superb. I think more than a day would be required to properly use all the sets available. Most of the sets have their own lighting which saves time moving and setting them up. I should also mention that the hosts, Barb and Malc are welcoming, cheerful, friendly and helpful but are quite happy to leave you to it should that be your preferred way of working.

Catchlight Pics Studio really is a remarkable place to shoot, more so given that Barb and Malc have only started from scratch 10 weeks ago. I was totally surprised, in a very good way, with everything the studio offered and am looking forward to shooting there again as soon as I can.

I had the pleasure of working at the wonderful Catchlight Pics Studios yesterday. I was initially booked there for a four hour shoot by a photographer I work with regularly. When Malc and Barb realised I’d be at the studio they asked me if I’d like to shoot with them afterwards for a couple of hours, something I was super eager to do as I hadn’t seen them in so long.

The studio space is absolutely breathtaking. Malc and Barb have put so much time and energy into catering to every photoshoot need imaginable. And they haven’t even finished yet! It’s a veritable treasure trove of outfits, sets, accessories, lengths of fabric, props etc. The individual sets they’ve created are beautifully put together and really very artistic. There was no way of getting through everything in the six hours I was there, and to be honest I think it would take many, many visits to use it to its full potential.

Malc and Barb are incredibly welcoming and comfortable to work alongside. They are helpful, without being intrusive. They’re very aware of their customers comfort levels and are always on hand to offer a cup of coffee and biscuits if needed.

I’m very much looking forward to being back there again soon and I’d recommend it wholeheartedly, and without reservation to other models and photographers.

I would like to thank Malc for inviting me to run a workshop at his studio.

What an amazing location and studio. The views outside are stunning and inside is just as dramatic. This old Mill house is full of character and gear! I thoughly recommend models and photographers to book in for a photoshoot at Malc's studio, you wont be disappointed I can assure you.

I’ve now worked at Catchlight Pics Mill Studio for a numberous amount of times and would certainly recommend it to any photographers or models.

The studio offers a unique shooting space, much bigger than most studios with a number of different set opportunities.

The high exposed beams and exposed brick walls are absolutely stunning, alongside many unique features.

This studio offers the biggest selection of props and backdrops that I have seen, with a huge amount of different textures and styles.

For models, the studio is always kindly pre heated and offers a lovely changing space.

I must add, the lake opposite the studio is well worth some photography time!!

Highly recommended!

I LOVE Working here at Catchlight Pics Mill Studio! Unlike most traditional Studio's, there is a real History and meaning behind everything here, which helps to give it extra significance and make it feel extra special!

There are a great variety of things that cans be done here, which hopefully comes across in the images that Malc, Barb and myself have done here together so far!

I highly recommend Catchlight Pics Mill Studio to anybody, and I cannot wait to work there again very soon!
