As a full time creative, it’s not very often that you come across something so refreshing and unique studio based - this is a long, long shot away from your standard white backdrop studio.

Great selection of backdrops, props, and lighting! Wow!!

Malc and Barb and also most accommodating to models and photographers who require assistance.

Highly recommended.

I had a great shoot with Malc and Barb at Catchlight Pics Mill Studio!

Lots of fabulous textures and rustic props with the brick walls and rough wooden floors, as well as the spacious backdrop areas. The place really comes alive as an atmospheric shooting space, and I also loved the options to shoot by the open door for flattering and interesting natural light.

I was completely looked after and had everything I needed. Malc and Barb are always so friendly and helpful! I look forward to shooting here again in the future. Happily recommended :-)

The Catchlight Pics Mill Studio is a must go to if you are ever working in the Staffordshire or Cheshire area. If you're after something quirky, with character or maybe even an alternative urbex area, this is the place to be! An old Flour mill in an absolutely beautiful location, situated near a large fishing pool, surrounded by livestock - It's truly awesome to behold. There are still so many parts of the mill that are still intact, and it really gives the studio some serious character. Malcolm and Barbara have also made sure to move in some different back drops to cater to every type of creative too - They are clearly putting a great deal of thought in to their new venture. What i truly love about this place is yu can work with EITHER natural light or flash, because the light that streams through can be truly gorgeous!

Malcolm and Barbara are truly the most hospitable - They have ensured there is a toilet facility and changing area on site, and are always prepared with biscuits or snacks and tea or coffee.

I can not wait to shoot here again in the future - highly recommended from me!
