I had my first remote shooting with Carla about a 60s theme and I can't compliment her enough. Styling, posing, technical setup, everything was perfect. Also the help of Adrian was really nice to make things going smooth. Both were really kind and made it funny.

The first shooting but already preparing the next one. She was on my shooting list for years and definitely one of the best.

Not sure now if this is my 4th or 5th shoot with Carla, and all have been fabulous be it location or studio always very professional and a great pleasure to work with todays was an autumnal shoot on location around Swindon in various locations. Many thanks again Carla and Adrian for a great day yet again.

Had an amazing first shoot today with Carla. Not sure what I can say that already has not been said. We done the shoot in my flat which is quite cramped, but Carla took this in her stride with flawless professionalism. With her guidance on the natural light in my flat we got some more pleasing images and could not be happier. Great communications before the shoot. During the shoot Carla posed with such beauty and elegance.

Had a lovely first shoot with Carla. Communications with her before the shoot were really great. She is a real professional, beautiful, a lovely woman, and very easy to work with. She was happy to go along with my ideas and the whole shoot flowed easily. We both made suggestions and this gave me as a ‘newbie’ photographer, confidence to experiment and it felt very collaborative. She was so responsive and graceful in the way she moves. I have had the very good fortune to be able to shoot with Carla twice this year, this time I was able to catch her while she was staying at Sowton Studio.

I can not say enough superlatives about Carla, in my opinion one of the best models on here. You only have to look at her portfolio to be blown away by her beauty, style and dedication to her profession. What you don't see by her pictures though is what a lovely, down to earth and fun person she is too. A total joy to work with.

If you haven't ever worked with Carla you are really missing out.

Shot last week at Sowton studios with Carla on a duo day with Irida. Having shot with Carla before I knew what to expect in terms of her professionalism and style. I was delighted that her posing with Irida was relaxed and comfortable and the contrast between the two of them yielded some pleasing images.

I would always be happy to work with Carla on any assignment, knowing that she will bring her A game. Its the little things that make this lady one of the top models, her preparations always considered and immaculate.

Carla doesn’t need my recommendation but she gets it anyway and I hope to shoot with her again.

I left it far too long since our last shoot, so it was a delight to catch up and work again with this charming lady.

If you are looking for someone to deliver 1005 elegance in the coolest way Carla should be top of your list.

Now, I have been a little greedy here with two shoots with Carla in one week. The first shoot took place at the Trident hire Studio in Plymouth. This was a group shoot for 3 hrs. Carla went through several changes from fashion to tasteful nude. A very enjoyable evening.

The second shoot was a 1 to 1 shoot at The Sowton Studio, near Exeter Mr Davy's studio. Carla went through several changes of costume during our 2 hr shoot. This shoot ranged from portrait and fashion to art nude. Carla was a dream to work with, she has a very friendly and chatty personality, the 2 hrs passed by too quickly. Thank you Carla. I can fully recommend Carla.

I've had another very successful shoot with Carla on her tour to the South West.

As always such a relaxed and fun atmosphere, a mix of fashion and nude and using the newly built cube for the studio.

Looking forward to working with Carla again in January when we host some remote shoots here in the studio.

Wow how many references Carla ?? And all more than good, very good actually, well I attended a hard light studio session at Trident studio today, Carla was the model, I've worked with Carla before and she was magnificent, great to see her today and catch up.

She never disappoints she knows this industry inside out, I would be insulting her if I suggested that she needed direction, fab model, up there with the very best.

I took the opportunity to work with Carla on a short remote shoot. We had discussed the theme/style for the shoot beforehand, so Carla, assisted by Adrian, was well set up from the get go.

Carla delivered pose after pose and we captured numerous stunning shots in our short time.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Carla to all photographers. I hope I get another chance to work with her in the future.

Another shoot with the legendary Carla, the second time on a location shoot in Wiltshire including some Urban and some countryside shooting, this trip I took Ann from the camera club and were kindly assisted by Adrian. I've had the chance to work with Carla on few occasions and she never seems to have a bad day.

Most recently we worked together for an RPS fashion and beauty event at Hammerwood house in East Sussex. Carla is always extremely capable, friendly and easy to work with.

We got some amazing images both flash and found light. I have no hesitation in recommending her for a shoot

My second shoot with Carla, this time an assisted location shoot in the Wiltshire countryside with Adrian providing assistance. Carla is just fabulous and everything you could possibly wish for in a model and is such a lovely and warm hearted person. We shot a number of different looks in different locations and all on one of the hottest days of the year! Carla looked fabulous throughout and was very keen to make sure that we got some great images, which we did. Carla is so easy to work with and her experience shines through in every image. Needless to say, I will be looking forward to working with Carla again! Highly, highly recommended. Thank you Carla for another wonderful shoot.

This shoot had been a long time in the making, as Carla has been on my list for quite some time. My first session with her was an incredible experience. Carla is graceful, beautiful, friendly, and highly professional. We had an in-person shoot at her home studio, and both she and Adrian were very welcoming, even meeting me at the station. I thoroughly enjoyed our time together and hope to organize more shoots with Carla in the future.

Organised Chaos

This was my 2nd time booking Carla (SFAM) with this time it being a Photography Tuition Day with Adrian Crook (separate ref left although I will say excellent person also a new BFAM 😃)under the Adrian Carla Creative (another separate ref left also on Purple Port) .

This reference is solely for Carla as the most creative, kind, friendly, relaxed ,patient , knows how to interoperate even my babblings into coherent logic (thank you kindly for that 🤗) and most of all these important traits there is the fact that if you book Carla then you are getting the most creative model on Purple Port.

I gave Carla some examples of looks I was after on the day. I have been super busy so ran out of time to actually communicate that well before the shoot but Carla is such an expert there was ample variants of items Carla brought along to fulfil my list.

Absolutely luv this lady for the excellent person she is but also for all you learn from booking Carla.

I had the pleasure of doing my third street fashion walkabout with Carla & Adrian today, this time in Bristol rather than London. Needless to say it was only the location that changed; everything else was up to their usual high standards: A very relaxed atmosphere with a couple of coffee breaks but still plenty of time for each of the four photographers to get the shots they wanted in each location that we stopped at. We were spoiled with choices for locations: I assisted with a recce earlier in the week to help find likely locations for shooting, and in the end we didn't get round even half of them (and there were others we could have looked at earlier in the week too...!), which all means there is plenty more mileage in future shoots around Bristol ;-) That's great news for anyone living in the area because these shoots are fab! Carla's reputation is deservedly second to none, and it's cool to have Adrian around too - to provide assistance if required, or just to provide inspiration from the amazing shots that he effortlessly sneaks in while the rest of us try to do our best! Plus they're a lovely couple to hang out with, and if my experiences to date are anything to go by, you'll probably get to meet some other nice folks too - maybe other PurplePorters whose work you've long admired but have never actually met, or others that you're glad to make the acquaintance of. So it's 10/10 from me, and I'll be looking forward to more of these shoots in the future :-)

First time working with Carla at a group shoot with Natasha J Bella. I have long been an admirer of her modelling so was so pleased to work with her today. Carla is lovely, very easy going and nice to chat to. Carla is a fab model she poses really well and is very professional. Just wished I'd had more time to work with her today and would definitely book her for a one to one shoot. Hope to meet you again Carla as I think we immediately 'hit it off'(helped I think by us both being from the other side of the Pennines), it would be a pleasure to shoot again. Take Care, Carl :)
