I am passionate about my work telling visual stories.

I have been an avid amateur photographer (amateur in the sense of "lover of", not unprofessional) for many years. I started with analogue photography and later worked a lot in film and video, documentary as well as fictional and experimental. In the beginning I was more interested in travel related photography and I mainly photographed my partner, my muse.

I have left my full-time job and can now devote myself much more intensively to the art of photography.

Now I am particularly interested in photographing people as I think the challenge of capturing the essence of a person can be very satisfying when successful. More recently I have been more interested in styles of work including portrait, lingerie, boudoir and art nude. I love to learn by working with paid models. This also applies to remote photography, especially in the last few years.

Recently I started a second portolio which mainly deals with analogue photography and its digitisation.
