Nigel is a model with diverse styles and ability, this shoot was something new for me and stretched me as a photographer. We worked steadily through the various planned elements with Nigel always on top form. His pre shoot planning is excellent as are his directions to the shoot location. It was a very relaxed and enjoyable shoot, thanks to his professional and friendly demeanour. totally recommend Nigel as a model.

Never known for my photographing a male and that’s definitely a failing on my part as I came away from Nigel’s place with a different point of view, such was the pleasure of our shoot.

A beautifully lit room on a very sunny morning, adding a little light here and there and we managed some really characterful images. Three changes of outfits and a little nude completed a successful shoot and we are already discussing the next one.

Location shoot at Rushton Triangular Lodge. I had my third and long delayed/overdue shoot with Nigel today. It was the perfect opportunity to combine more than one of my favourite pastimes of working with a superbly professional and talented model (whom I also consider a good friend) and visiting/recording historic architecture. Although We kept the shoot relatively basic - one camera and lens, a tripod and one costume - this allowed us plenty of time to explore the best places and angles to capture the best images. Did we get creative? Absolutely. I am so looking forward to editing many of the interior building images. The exterior shots were fun too and need very little editing - except where more than one Nigel was invited to the party!!!! A great shoot and one that I will remember fondly for a very long time. Thanks Nigel. You're a star.

Another wonderfully artistic shoot with Nigel. He seems to bring so much to our ideas & the results far outweigh my expectations. I'm gonna keep this simple by just saying what a great model & guy Nigel is. His input is invaluable & he actually takes an interest, pushing the concepts (& me!) to get the best from them. Wonderful shoot with Nigel. Comms were great, pre-shoot set ideas were discussed, finessed during the shoot & resulted in some great art shots. Nigel did a grand job of bringing my very raw ideas to life. I've no hesitation in recommending Nigel, his energy & ability to realise concepts is exemplary. Had my First shoot today with Nigel, A great model to work with, with a great personality, and a good look. Good comms from first contact and from start all way to end of shoot. so we both knew what was wanted before start date came fully prepared and on time for the shoot nothing to much trouble very versatile model who takes direction well and gives his own as well giving 100% for the right image.

I had my first photoshoot with Nigel WHP at his home and thoroughly enjoyed the shoot. Nigel WHP is a very professional, friendly model and also was the perfect host. Pre-comms were excellent and we worked through various genres up to art nude. The decor in his home is fantastic and contributed very much to utilising the walls as backdrops and furniture as props. I look forward to working with Nigel WHP again and definitely recommend him to photographers of all levels.

My second shoot with Nigel at his home, and once again I found him to be friendly, easy-going and very receptive to ideas and direction. He was also very patient when submitting to be tied for the shibari rope work that was the primary focus for the shoot.

We had an enjoyable and productive session, interspersed with interesting conversation. All in all, a successful and pleasant day out.

This was a shoot arranged a short notice and, due to some lovely weather, we did a mixture of location (woodland) and indoor (shibari) themes. Nigel is an excellent model, who takes direction well, but also is happy to progress poses so they are more natural for him.

Definitely recommend to other photographers.

I had the absolute pleasure to work with Nigel today.

A model I happened upon some time ago and due to various circumstances was unable to shoot until today.

The shoot was set in Nigels home, more precisely in his lounge. The space is spacious, clean, with good quality furnishings making for excellent props,it also offers good natural light, however due to the shoot style I was aiming for the blinds and curtains were drawn effectively eliminating most of the light...

Nigel is an experienced model with a great look and dress sense, he does not require direction but in the same breath is happy to take it if you require a certain look or pose.

Nigel is highly recommended, a gentleman with great welcoming personality.

I look forward to working with him again in the future...

I hadn't shot with Nigel for a while, and then we recently agreed on an outdoor shoot in a lovely Northamptonshire village. We found a number of locations in the village to fit in with the country gent/military theme.

We chatted away throughout the shoot, making the whole experience a lot of fun, whilst creating a great set of images. The next shoot is already in the planning stage.

Orchard Studio, Cambridge

Had an excellent shoot with Nigel today that enabled me to get a couple of creative theme ideas I have been thinking about for some time actually into camera. Great with direction when necessary and a good conversationalist, our couple of hours went past very quickly. Nigel turned out to be exactly the model I had hoped for and I would definitely recommend.

Shot with Nigel on several occasions now. He is a great model and very open to new challenges. This shoot was a test shoot so I could practise with a couple of Elinchrom Three TTL/HSS portable flash units. Sole purpose was to see what we could get out of the strobes.

Nigel was more than up for the challenge, all outdoor shots with a single strobe. I think the results speak for themself. Nigel was a true pro and very patient with me as I did fumble a bit with the new kit. I though adding his dog gave the shoot a great dynamic to.

So guys if you want a great creative then you could do a lot worse than booking Nigel.

Had another fabulous shoot with Nigel last week at his place, he reached out with an idea and I just couldn’t say no, I’ve shot with Nigel a few times now and the shoots are always relaxed and comfortable, comms are always great and we have a strong idea of images we want to create before we shoot. Nigel is a naturally creative character, a natural poser, open to ideas and is great with direction when required (not that he needs it). Looking forward to sharing the images. We’ve already discussed other ideas and we’ll be shooting something new soon!

Working with Nigel is highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!

This is the second shoot I've done with Nigel. He holds the dubious honour of being the first model I ever worked with. It was a great shoot that day and today was no different.

I was joined by photographers from a hobby group I run and Nigel was friendly, helpful and willing to try things suggested by the nervous and inexperienced photographers.

I wouldn't hesitate booking Nigel again and would recommend him, particularly to anyone looking for character shots or vintage.
