I have now shot with James more times than I can remember over the span of around 9/10 years or so.

Each time I am blown away by what we create together.

I find the way he works incredibly refreshing. His approach is always relaxed, he brings snacks, tethers usually so we can review images as we go and we always seem to have such a laugh. Not to mention the images are STUNNING! I have shot several duos with James, this time was one with the beautiful Ella Ru at her home and WOW... I was absolutely blown away by the results right off the bat. The first test shot :D

James is a talented photographer, he has a unique style that I feel he has honed over the years and despite being a photographer primarily shooting nudes this time he adapted to our levels of lingerie effortlessly and like I said 'we were blown away'.

The 4 hours flew by and we all felt we could definitely have shot all day at Ellas place.

I recently had the pleasure of working with James on a duo shoot with the beautiful Rose Magdalene Child at my home. James had booked 4 hours of one-on-one time with us, and the time flew by so quickly. He showed us a stunning mood board for inspiration, and we started shooting. The images he has taken are breathtaking and have made my first real duo experience a fabulous one! I adore the photos and can't wait to see the finished results once edited. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Calm Nudes many times before, so I was thrilled to see him joining the Croatian 2024 Artemisian trip.

He is an incredibly creative and talented photographer with a true passion for his craft. Calm Nudes is also wonderfully easygoing and down-to-earth, making the experience of working together abroad an absolute joy.

We produced some incredible images during the trip, and I’m excited to see the final edits.

I had a wonderful shoot with James yesterday!

He'd initially contacted me a year ago to shoot but unfortunately had to cancel as the weather was awful. Thankfully the weather was on out side this time as it was pleasantly sunny with nicely diffused light all afternoon.

I felt very safe and comfortable with James at all times and enjoyed working with him. The two hours flew by and we got a really lovely range of images. I even got to look over them at the end and loved what I saw.

10/10 would work with again and would recommend to any model. :)

I had a second fab shoot with James and Beth Kate !! This time the shoot took place at Beth's flat in London.

Again I felt we worked very well as a team. The images created are simply stunning and I really can't wait to see the final results.

Had a fantastic third shoot with James a couple of days ago in a beautiful hotel in Kensington.

I love natural style and candid shoots, playing with the props the location offers and create a story in my mind, so the location James picked was just perfect to simulate a simple story with voyeuristic notes.

James as always, is an awesome person to work with and great photographer behind the lens. Every time we shoot we achieve better and better results! It was a great day and we teamed up creating magic! 90% of the shots are fantastic and I really can’t wait to work together again!

James booked me and Bobbi Castle for a half day shoot on our Gloucester tour.

It was my first time meeting James and I was pleased to find that he has an air about him that immediately made me feel comfortable and safe.

We shot set after set of Incredible fetish images. I was gobsmacked by how good they were.

It was my second time working with calm nudes. First shoot went so well we had a second arranged by the end haha. He booked me and kitty quinzell as a duo and we had discussed between us what we wanted to shoot. The results are just amazing! We got so many great pictures that day. Looking on the back of the camera I’m not sure how photographers choose. I would definitely recommend calm nudes.

I've shot with James several times recently, so this is something of a combined reference. Most recently we were at a dungeon in Bristol with CaitlynJ. James' pre-comms are always fantastic and he's one of the most kind and genuine photographers I've had the pleasure of working with. From natural no make-up portraits to moody lingerie with a kink edge, James' work is flattering and classy. I wholeheartedly recommend him to all and look forward to our next shoot.

It was such a pleasure. James came into the studio with such a joy and excitement, he had ideas for the shoot and was well prepared. I was a bit tired in the beginning of the shoot after some long days, though that suited very well with the first kind of style we had, and I felt James was able to give directions as well letting me and Irida freestyle. We got so many amazing shots that day, and I again remembered why I love my job. In the end of the shoot Irida said to James that he should take advantage of me being there, and because of that we got the most amazing body shape images with the light just popping up from the clouds. It was a great finish of a successful and fun shooting. Thank you so much James for shooting with us!

I had the pleasure of another shoot with James, this time during an organised shoot at Shepton Mallet Prison and boy oh boy am I grateful James trekked all the way there!

His pre shoot communications were good, responding well to my questions and gave me free reign over styling choices.

During the shoot itself, he was polite, professional and friendly and as usual it felt like catching up with an old friend. We jumped straight into the shoot and worked our way around the prison, capturing lots of gorgeous images and taking full advantage of the natural light. He was respectful of me at all times and I felt very comfortable.

We worked together for 4 hours and really made the most out of the property, shooting in all the nooks and crannies to take full advantage of everything we had. James' ability at finding light and envisioning what he wanted to create was phenomenal. James was an absolute blast to work with and was open to my ideas too.

James has a fantastic eye for photography and attempted some really cool shots as he was full of inspiration. The shots came out amazingly and I'm so excited to see the results, simply because the back of camera shots were so exquisite. James is one of those photographers that you just gel with instantly and you know the shoot is gonna be epic.

I'd happily recommend James and look forward to working with him in the future.

Another shoot with James, this time at Studio88uk in High Wycombe and as usual his pre shoot communications were excellent, the shoot was booked within a few messages.

We know each others styles now and get along fantastically, capturing amazing shot after amazing shot. James is a consumate professional, very friendly and approachable. His confidence with photography is wonderful as he flits between settings to really get the very best he can out of the situation.

I felt at ease with James straight away and we shot a variety of images in a short space of time.

James booked onto myself and LEnza’s duo studio day at AURAphotographic last minute, which was fantastic as I had only previously worked with him briefly on a group event previously. As with the nature of a last minute booking, there was very limited time to discuss a shoot plan and so James said we would wing it on the day which the large collection were were both bringing for the day. The two slot flewwww by (as it always does) and I just wish we had had longer to shoot as I feel our time as a three together was v collaborative and a true success. I look forward to hopefully sharing our work in due course as the images were looking fantastic on BOC so i know the edits will be 🔥 Thank you for booking onto our day, and hopefully we can do 2.0 soon enough! 💃🏻

James arrived with enthusiasm and plenty of creative ideas. It felt a real collaboration between us and we worked really well as a team.

In the small anount of time we created many beautiful images in a relaxed and fun athmosphere. I am super happy with the results!

I had the pleasure of working with James on a photoshoot at the Granary Studio. The shoot lasted four hours, and we focused on creating a series of moody, black and white photographs.

James was fantastic to collaborate with. There was a great sense of mutual understanding regarding the desired vibe for the shoot, which made the process smooth and efficient. The final photos turned out beautifully, exceeding expectations.

Beyond his technical skill, James was a joy to work with. He created a comfortable and positive atmosphere on set, which is essential for capturing genuine expression in photographs. WOW.. WOW.. WOW!!

9 years ago I first worked with James alongside Artemis at her home studio and we had such an insane shoot.

Over the years since we have worked together at least a few times and genuinely I can hand on heart say each time it has gotten BETTER and BETTER.

I always had James down as one of the best, the nicest, the most thoughtful and kindest gentlemen around.

He is always so full of creative ideas, punctual with pre-shoot communication, clearly stating his wonderful ideas and is happy to provide a deposit and book anything if needed ie studio/hotel etc.

This shoot we had just last weekend was at a wonderful hotel in Salisbury called Milton Hall Hotel. It was a rather last min shoot as I messaged James to say I was in the area. We discussed in a few emails what we were feeling and it became evident we were on the SAME PAGE and then some.

We share very much similar views and passions around conveying a message through photography, something that James is excellent at capturing and portraying.

This shoot was on a theme very close to my heart around 'Body-Image'. It is safe to say that it was very touching for me, I felt vulnerable but in a very safe way and that means something. If I can be vulnerable with someone I know they are the right person to be working with.

I am truly in awe and so grateful for the shoot we just had and I can't wait to share to results. I can wholeheartedly recommend James to any other model without hesitation.

Really great first shoot with calm nudes. Pre communication was great and we were going for an at home chilling kind of look. I loved the images on the back of the camera from the get go and knew we were going to have a great shoot. The time flew by as it always does but we have another shoot booked in later in the year. I am really looking forward to working with James again and would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Shooting myself and Antonia Jay.

James was the highlight of our weekend and created some of the most beautiful images. His shots were very "real" and "genuine" and set the mood of "sensuality" and "casuality, just two females enjoying the company of one another.

It is refreshing to see someone create images in this style and i really hope James enjoyed the shoot as much as myself and Antonia did.

I am looking forward to seeing the images and would love to shoot with James again !!
