I shot with J on my last Studio Day at Auraphotographic in Northampton, I really enjoyed working with him!

I liked the fact that he came with no specific ideas, it was our first shoot and I really appreciated that he focused on me as person and model instead of a mannequin, trying to reproduce something already seen on my portfolio or a shot in his mind. I love to shoot with the flow (especially if it's the first time), sometimes photographers are too focused on take "that" shot, that they forget to look who they have in front of the camera. I personally think that J caught the right attitude to have for a 2 hours slot during studio days. It's more an opportunity to know each other and try to "tune in to the same frequencies". And I would say that we did, and had wonderful results!

Besides of beeing a lovely and enjoyable person to work with, J is extremely skilled and talented, he has his own style, and he took sooo many great shots effortlessy.

So I absolute recommend working or collaborating with him!

Prior to shooting pre-communication was great and everything was so easy to organised

During the shoot James gives such a relaxed atmosphere to shoot in. I loved that I could just flow through poses and get on with the shoot.

James is also really good at suggesting ideas and trying new and different things. We got a variety of so many different great looks and themes and produced so many sets during our shoot together.

More than recommended to all Models! Such a creatively interesting, intelligent and lovely photographer and person

Really loved working with James...

We started the shoot with low key lighting and nailed it from the first shot...I am not even exaggerating...We had the perfect light and pose from the word go...James is very good at photography and his lighting skills are incredible...

I had my first shoot with the amazing James, and I can’t recommend him highly enough! First of all - completely my fault for leaving poor James without a reference for so long - sorry James!!!

We booked a 3 hour shoot at my home back in September and I knew from first communication that James would be easy and lovely to work with and I was right! James is a true gentleman through and through, with loads of passion and enthusiasm for photography, some really amazing ideas and a great eye!

He is also kind, polite, really friendly and easy to get along with and our 3 hour shoot flew by!

Very highly recommended indeed and I cannot wait to shoot again (I just hope James feels the same! :-) )

I shot with James for the first time at the Kempston Studios and what fun we had.

James is so much fun to be around, he is funny, chatty and a wizard with the camera. He put me at total ease through the shoot.

We got through many styles and costume changes and certainly made the most of our surroundings. What I saw from the back of the camera made me very happy indeed and I can’t wait to see what we created.

Id love to work with James again and would recommend him highly to any model.

🎞 Kempston Studio [Studio Hire, Bedford] 🎞

Fabulous to have James in the studio today, after a quick look around at the available sets James was quickly onto what area he wanted to use first and directed myself at lighting arrangement he required, fine adjustments were made and the images looked great on the back of James's camera.

This was repeated with the other sets used and each time James was courteous and relaxed, helping to move furniture and producing some great work.

Happy to recommend James and really hope to see him again very soon.

It had been a long time since myself and James had shot together, but we arranged a duo shoot with my partner Leon at NLS studio. All pre shoot comms were smooth and prompt leading up to the shoot. We were really looking forward to it as it was our second shoot after the lockdown.

James is such a lovely guy, so friendly, easy to chat to, he's extremely respectful, complimentary of myself and Leon as models and our posing abilities.

It was one of those rare days where EVERYTHING works. You can't seem to get a bad shot. From the get go that's how it was. And honestly we had an absolute blast. It was relaxed yet we all had high energy and so the poses kept flowing as did our conversations too :)

Honestly the best shoot in a long long time, look forward to the next one already! Thank you again James, Tillie x

JAMES JAMES JAMES. What an absolute STAR!! First time shooting with this wonderful gentleman down at Natural Light Spaces, kicking off my tour in the BEST way possible! 4 hours went by way too quickly, but we covered a lot! We did all implied work, incorporating voiles into aerial hoop and dance shots. James has a great eye for detail and fabulous timing. Both of us working together to achieve the best we could which is how I love to shoot. Stellar shots all round, I cannot wait to see the final results! Other than being a great photographer, James is so polite and incredibly respectful, making me feel so at ease at all times. Shooting implied nude on a spinning hoop doesn't always go to plan, but James totally made me feel comfortable and deleted any images I wasn't happy with there and then. James has a beautifully cheerful demeanour and was always giving me great feedback with what we were creating :) He is incredibly appreciative and has a level of respect that is rare to find in many photographers.

I would absolutely jump at the chance to shoot with James again :) Such a fun time, great human, fantabulous shoot! Thanks so much James :)

James came along to my Summers Abroad UK Manor Event last weekend!

It had been SO long since I last saw him so it was really nice catching up and working together again! From what I saw on the back of the camera we got some awesome results too :)

Summers Abroad

James attended our events for the first time last weekend when he joined our UK Manor Event.

We had a gorgeous manor home in the North Cotswolds that had lots of shooting opportunities both indoors and outdoors. Due to Covid-19 we had to separate the shooting areas and basically have a large game of Cluedo,with cleaning breaks in between, to make the event safe and within guidelines. James was very respectful of the social distancing and guidelines that we had to have in place.

He was unfortunately a little bit late due to reading our confirmation email wrong but thankfully it didn't stop him getting straight into it and getting some lovely images with the models attending :D He worked incredibly well alongside the photographer he was paired with and it was a pleasure to host him! He is more than welcome on any of our events in the future and we would happily recommend him :)

I had a lovely shoot with James at my apartment today. He is a great photographer and I really loved what he captured. His style of images are very thoughtful and elegant with great angles. During the shoot we had a laugh and had a chat about various subjects including photography. I really enjoyed today's shoot, working with James was fun and I am looking forward to hopefully working more with him again in the future.

Artemisian Luxury Photographic Holidays

James recently joined us on an Artemisian event for the first time and we are super glad he did!

I have known James for many years now so it was lovely to have him join us and spend more time shooting an even huger variety of images together!

The four days were superb- we have lots of great memories from the trip.

I can't wait to see the results from the trip go up, the 70's inspired set in particular :D

I had the good fortune of working with James for a second time at the Studland Weekender yesterday. We divided the time into two halves - some solo work first and then duo with the lovely Natural Happy Woman. We didn't have too much of a plan but got through loads of stunning sets, from corseted elegance to film noir debauchery, and James was a pleasure to work with throughout. Once again, I have no reservations in recommending him to others and look forward to our next shoot!

It was easy to organize a shoot with James, he was clear and precise in communications where it mattered and flexible where it was helpful to me, letting me fit in another shoot. He was also relaxed about the details trusting we would make it work, which of course we did.

James has all the ability to create amazing images but allows the models space to do their thing, so working together was very fluid and natural.

He was respectful in attitude but plenty of fun to be with, someone you could work all day with and it be a total pleasure.

I recently had the pleasure of working with James at Studland, he is super easy to work with, great fun, has lots of ideas, a really lovely photographer. We worked through a number of areas throughout the house using whatever natural light was available giving us plenty of variety. For the last couple of hours we were joined by the beautiful Happy Natural Woman ... between the 3 of us we worked efficiently and as an amazing team! Can’t wait to see the results :)

Hopefully I will have the pleasure to work with James again in the future.

James attended a duo event with myself and Em Theresa at her lovely Oxfordshire home, this was my second time working with James and just like last time it was a brilliant shoot but with some extremely beautiful shots that I really love.

James is really professional, kind, easy to work with, relaxed, gives direction and also lets the model lead the way as well.
