Simon was absolutely amazing! I wanted to shoot with him for over a good year now and finally had it happen on my first ever tour to Scotland!

He took me to a some wonderful scenic locations: castle ruins, lovely flower fields and some epic archways near the sea. Despite some weather disturbances, we carried on and I’m very pleased with the results! Simon allowed me to be creative and pose easily. He’s very open to suggestions and his sense of perception is fantastic. Very respectful and friendly man. I know we will do even better next time!

Scarlot Rose

This is a bit of a two in one reference, during my Scottish tour I actually shot twice with Calandra:

The first shoot was on location near Montrose. Simon had scouted two wonderful locations for this shoot both totally different but not a million miles away. We shot a variety of floaty outfits and nude in both locations and not only was it a great shoot, the images I saw on the back of the camera were stunning!

The second shoot was a duo with Xian, this time using an indoor location to shoot a mixture of lingerie, art nude and rope. This was the first time I had ever worked indoors with Simon but it was an equally great shoot! Even in the small(ish) space we had he really used the natural light beautifully and captured some really great shots!

Both shoots were polar opposites but both great fun and produced some beautiful results, which I'm very keen to see! Simon was polite and respectful throughout and I'm happy to recommend him to others!

I had so much fun on my second shoot with Simon! (The first was years ago). We shot a mixture of art nude, latex and a goddess outfit. We had so many beautiful shots and the time absolutely flew by!

He knows how to get the best out of models and shares my love of nature and texture, so I loved the pictures we took. He's also a super lovely very interesting person to work with and talk to, and comes highly recommended by me. See you next year! :D

I had a great second shoot with Simon the other day. I was touring up in the North Wedt of Scotland and he happened to be up nearish the area so we decided to pick a location on the map and just go for it (it is scotland after all - you can’t go far wrong ;) )

I found an interesting area on google and we arranged to meet there. A small problem with timings but as soon as we met up we were on our way. We had a fabulous waterfall to play with with a really cute bridge right next to it, a lovely calm loch and some sensational weather. Simon was good company as always and the time flew by. I really enjoyed our shoot and hope we can shoot again sometime. Looking forward to seeing the images :)

I got to work with the epic Simon again on my Scottish tour just gone - he scouted a beautiful location that was amazing to shoot at, he used the light and scenes wonderfully, the back of camera images looked absolutely epic!

I love working with this awesome fellow - he is a professional and respectful gentleman  who has a very cool way around the camera indeed :)

Had another fantastic location shoot with Simon today, he is an absolute pleasure to work with. Simon brought the most beautiful dresses and props which worked so well with the location that he picked. Can't wait to work with him for a 3rd time! 3 hours just wasn't enough.

We worked from a fabulous hotel setting this time! Which was a nice change

He always arrives on time ! Always great come, paid deposit and did half an hour extra at the end

Simon was such a pleasure to work with! He picked some amazing locations and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to see some beautiful locations in Fife. He clearly has a great eye for locations and was very easy to work with, friendly, professional and considerate.

This was my second shoot with the lovely Calandra - preshoot comms were messier than usual (my fault entirely) as I had slightly complicated travel plans, but Simon was absolutely lovely about the whole process and did his utmost to accommodate!

We ended up shooting some dark beauty/nudes with fetish undertones, in an interesting location that he had found. We were interrupted/discovered midshoot but Calandra dealt with the situation very calmly and politely, and it ended up getting us access to an even better building! Cannot wait to see the results of this shoot, again would recommend and looking forward to the next time already.

So after being invited up to scotland to shoot by Simon, i whipped up the oppotunity and before i knew it may was here! Simon is a wonderful man and what a great photographer who is surrounded by some just WONDERFUL locations!

Simon made me feel comfortable helped me get to where i needed to and had plenty of time for me as much as i was yawning on the first day of shooting.

we split our shoot over 2 days getting some just wonderful shots.

i look forward to working with Simon again and would highly reccommend.

Had a great location shoot with Simon in Buckie, He is relaxed and great company, the time just went so fast. He makes you feel comfortable and is respectful throughout the whole shoot and is not pushy with levels.

He made such an effort and brought lovely props / dresses which went so well with the images that we produced, over the moon with them, amazing photographer.

Cant wait to work with him again tomorrow!

All right, I have the honour of writing Simon's 100th reference! :)

I worked with Simon for the first time on my Scotland tour this week. Simon is a pleasure to work with - a very polite, considerate and professional photographer and a gentleman. The comms before and during the shoot were excellent. We worked in the wilderness, on the beach and in the forest, and Simon always made sure I don't get too cold and take enough breaks.

We worked through a number of sets with different outfits, and the images I saw on the back of the camera looked great, can't wait to see the edits!

I wholeheartedly recommend Simon to any model and would happily work with him again next time I am in Scotland!

I am so glad that I finally got to shoot with Simon, as I had followed his work for some time.... and what a great kick start to my Scotland tour this was! A real treat! I instantly found Simon very easy to get along with, and he was such a dream to work with. We made a great team, perfecting every idea and image on each stunning location he took me too. I had such an amazing day working with Simon that it just went by far far too quickly, and hope that sometime soon I can work with Simon again. Very highly recommended by me to any model!

Aurora Violet

I really enjoyed my second shoot with Simon on location doing a duo with the lovely JAZZebell during her Scotland tour. Jazz is touring with another photographer radiomoths who is documenting her and he also came along to document the shoot which Simon was more than happy with.

Simon's communications leading up to and during the shoot were excellent, he is very friendly, respectful and such a nice person, he is lovely to chat with and I love his ideas, he takes the most beautiful images as you can see from his portfolio and he captured Jazz and myself so perfectly considering also it was the very first shoot with us girls as a duo but we managed to gel together very well.

We all met at the train station in Dundee and Simon kindly picked us up and drove us to the most fantastic location in Tayport. I cannot stress how easy Simon is to get along with and he is is not shy at giving direction also letting you pose at will.

Simon is so professional and he was always making sure we were not too cold, or thirsty and looking after our general well being. Our shoot was over so quickly and we could have definitely went on for longer but it was a lovely afternoon shoot catching the best part of the weather for the day too, bonus.

I highly recommend Simon, do not miss the opportunity to shoot with him, recommended to all creatives.

I had my second shoot with Simon on my recent tour to Scotland, This time on location and we were also joined by Aurora Violet, Whom i was also shooting with and Lee Jones Taking some BTS shots.

Simon had a really great location in mind and was happy to take us all there, He was really welcoming and chatty and made me feel very at ease thoughout the shoot.

He had some Really amazing ideas for what he wanted to capture and gave really great direction and also let us pose freely creating some really amazing images from what i saw on the back of the camera.

I'd really love to be able to shoot with simon again, he really is a wonderful and professional photographer.

Calandra was shooting JAZZebell_ and Aurora Violet together on location, and as I am travelling with JAZZebell_ documenting her tour I went along to shoot some behind the scenes photos.

Calandra was welcoming, worked great with the models, and was happy to let me do my thing.

I met and shot with Calandra last week, and it was a delightful first encounter. The shoot was primarily based around jewellery by "Nippleicious", and the pieces Simon brought along were fun to style and added an unusual twist to a topless shoot.

Calandra was respectful, friendly and courteous, and I felt there was excellent energy throughout the shoot. I felt totally at ease with him very quickly, and am looking forward to seeing the final images. Would recommend, and I hope we will cross paths again.

I had a great shoot with Simon yesterday. He picked me up and dropped me off at Dundee Station and he was fun and easy to work with. He brought a wide selection of accessories and garments, which I used to create interesting looks. I would definitely recommend Simon and would work with him again.
