I shot with Simon in a beautiful hotel in Dundee, whilst up on my recent tour of Scotland....after some great pre-comms, he came prepared, with some lovely ideas in tow.

He is very professional and relaxed, using the available rooms to their full potential with the various levels of natural light, whilst directing wonderfully and precisely....he has a way with the camera, using perfect angles and framing to capture the most stunning natural light that was filtering in!

I can't recommend this lovely photographer enough, Simon is a joy to work and he brings so much to a shoot, I recommend him to all :)

I'd been meaning to shoot with Simon for such a long time! I finally got myself into gear and flew to Scotland where we got to shoot. He booked this absolutely breathtakingly stunning manor house room which was perfect for artistic nude and glamour. It was such a joy shooting with Simon; he is so friendly, laidback and great to work with. He let me pose away and really get into it, and I saw some lovely shots on the back of his camera- so looking forward to seeing them properly. Communication before the shoot was excellent and I am so grateful for the reference, so thank you Simon! I'm really happy we were finally able to shoot, and hope to make a second trip next spring to shoot some beautiful outdoor nudes.

I worked with the wonderful Simon on my recent trip to Edinburgh. His pre communications were excellent and we organised a four hour shoot near Leuchers in Scotland. Simon had scouted a great abonadoned set of warehouses which meant we had a great backdrop with lots of areas to shoot from.

We did a mix of art nude, dance and clothed work and also experimented with some video at the end.

Simon is the perfect man to shoot with in terms of how he operates, he composes his shots quickly and let's you flow and get creative, he also let me have lots of breaks to warm up which was really nice.

He was great company and a really nice person to talk to.

Highly reccomended and hopefully we may get to shoot again at some point!

Shot with Calandra today at a hired flat in Edinburgh (my booking). We did a range of lingerie, art nude, bondage and messy stuff!

Commnication before hand was faultless and Simon arrived on time with lots of gear. We discussed again what we were going to do to make sure we were both on the same page and then got started.

He let me roll on at first but was able to give me appropriate direction when needed and think we worked really well together to get some good results.

We were able to have a good laugh about things also and talked about normal life when on breaks. He is a very easy going guy but definitely very passionate with lots of ideas waiting to bloom.

Simon's portfolio speaks for itself so I do not need to convince anyone of his skill, I can definitely say however that if you need to check that he is a genuine and lovely person then yes, he is.

I would definitely love to work with this photographer again in the future and would recommend to all models, newbies or otherwise.

Just returned from a wonderful shoot with Simon. A lovely guy and a very talented photographer. He arrived on time and pre-shoot communications were excellent. I was made to feel comfortable throughout and he offered direction and support all through the shoot. He has access to some really interesting locations such as a rustic barn in a field, some beautiful woodland and fields of heather. What is exciting about Simon is that he clearly understands both the beauty of nature and the human form, meaning he creates some really interesting and different images. To any model who isn't afraid of getting a little muddy I would highly recommend a shoot with him!

Had the pleasure of working with Simon once again on my last trip to Scotland! As always he was a delight to work with, his pre-shoot communications were great and he turned up right on time! Simon is a very friendly and easy going individual, it makes the whole shoot incredibly relaxing and allows for a natural and creative flow to develop!

Simon is very considerate towards a model, always aware of her comfort and and allows breaks and food! As well as being a really lovely person he is wonderful photographer who has a deep appreciation for the beauty in art nudes. This transfers over incredibly well to the work he produces and he creates images that exhibit art nude at its best! He also works efficiently, tries a variety of angles and experiments with his shots to ensure the best result possible is achieved!

I had yet another wonderful time working with Simon and look forward to future shoots together :) Highest recommendation!

At last! Simon and I managed to coordinate our availability on my latest visit to Scotland and get a long awaited second shoot done at St. Andrews. :) Just looking back at our first shoot and then this latest one with completely different styles and locations, it was one of those sessions that was so very worth the wait. It couldn't have gone any better where creativity and image yield are concerned, at each magical spot Simon and I were on a roll like this incredible team on an arty mission! :D

Getting everything arranged went so smoothly, Simon gave excellent brief details and ideas to work modelling looks around and sourced his locations with precision to suit. He knows so many gorgeous places, it's such a pleasure working with someone so passionate about combining models with picturesque environments for beautiful results. I recommend him so highly, if you're in the process of arranging a shoot with Simon; take my word for it that you'll enjoy every moment. :)

A great photographer whose mastered the challenge of location better than you can imagine - a star eye for framing the shot and balancing the sun. But on the same note a delightful person with a heart of gold and tonnes of fun to have the company of. :)

I worked with the lovely Simon on my last Scottish trip and had such a lovely location shoot for a couple of hours in the most beautiful of nature reserves! I spent two hours in the lovely nature reserve that Simon had chosen for the shoot and part of it rolling in the last of the purple heather! :)

This was our second shoot together and just as before was so much fun, full of great banter, conversation and laughter. Simon was very understanding also as I had miscalculated travel times (note to self: Google maps lie and Sat Navs are more accurate to plan prior to a trip!) He is a gentleman to work with and lovely company. Highly recommended and hope to work with you again next Spring! :) Helen x

My second shoot with Simon was AMAZING! After our first shoot was cut short because of horrid weather, I was so hoping we would be luckier with the second, and....we were!!

Infact it was a gorgeously scorching hot summers day and we shot on a stunning beach in Scotland with spectacular views and places to shoot around. And we also fit in a heather field and cornfield too on the way back.

I had a wonderful day with Simon, his company was lovely and the images we created together I really think are beautiful and I am so happy it was such a success for both of us the second time around :)

Well I finally got to work with simon after many months of communicating. I'm so glad I did xx. What a wonderful man. Simon was very respectful and considerate especially as we were on location and I ended up freezing cold !!! We managed to get through quite a variety of different sets and he was just a pleasure to work with. The location was amazing to work in its just a shame I'm a wimp and got so cold x

Simon is highly recommended by me and I would love to come back to this beautiful country and work with him again xx

Simon was my very first booking at the beginning of my Scottish tour and what a lovely guy!! We had been meaning to work together for quite some time but our diarys didn't match so I was very happy that we could arrange a shoot on this tour. Simon is very down to earth, very easy to talk to and work with.

He is extrremely pleasant and considerate- and takes beautiful location photos, everything you could wish for in a photographer. He sourced a fantastic outdoor location for the day and the weather was beautiful. We had the odd dog walker but we dealt with it really well and still achieved some stunning images. The 2 hours flew by and the photos are gorgeous, really look forward to seeing more and hope we work together again in the future! Highly recommended, Helen x

I worked with Simon last month at the Combo Estate house in Fife. Simon was so kind to pick me up from the nearest train station which was a bit away from the house. I found him extremely easy to work with. He is very laid back, the shoot felt really relaxed and we had some fun while shooting. Simon had his own ideas for the shoot but he was also happy to try any of my suggestions. He let me do my own poses but was also able to direct me when needed. Had a wonderful time shooting with Simon this week. After seeing samples of his work here on PP, I thought the drive to Scotland would be worth the result, and I wasn't disappointed. Simon made me feel very relaxed and remained extremely focused throughout the shoot. Not only is he an excellent photographer, he is also a kind and generous person; easy to talk to and very polite. The weather was dry, luckily, but the wind & cold made it a challenge for the two of us! It wasn't easy, but worth every second; I had an amazing afternoon and would renew the experience without a second thought! I highly recommend working with Simon if you get the opportunity, definitely a day I will remember :)

Simon and I have been looking at putting a shoot together for a few years now. We finaly made it happen during my first tour of Scotland. We were both delated the weather was good dispite it being early March, Simon knows many unique loctions which really made the shoot special.
