First full photoshoot with Jon and I had a very enjoyable experience! I think we worked together really well and both had good ideas and if we weren't happy we were in agreement. Jon picked me up from the train station as I don't drive and we set off to Purton, he was respectful and very polite the whole time and I'm looking forward to our next shoot!

Another fabulous shoot with Jon! Really chuffed to get the opportunity to work with him again, this time on a walk & shoot, exploring a little more of the Forest of Dean.

As last time, Jon was excellent company & we chatted happily about this & that while walking to the various locations. He was quick to see the opportunities available & to make the best use of the light. He is also excellent at framing & composing images.

Again it was so lovely to be able to work collaboratively, exchanging ideas & each having input into each shot. I love working with photographers who aren't afraid to try something different & experiment a bit together & Jon definitely falls into this category.

We reviewed the images as we went along which meant that we were able to fine tune them & make any adjustments. I love the images on the back of the camera & I think we got some really super ones!

Highly recommended, of course, so if you get the opportunity to work with Jon, take it!

Thank you so much Jon, it was an absolute pleasure & delight to shoot with you again & I sincerely hope we can do so again.

Jon was lovely and was great at arranging a meeting that worked for us both! We discussed shoot ideas over a cup of tea and made some decisions for my first proper shoot together. We did some test shoots and he offered advice and direction which made me feel more comfortable at getting photos we were both happy with! Highly recommend Jon he is a really nice guy!

Jon was great company throughout the shoot and wasn't phased when the bird watchers arrived, we all just moved on. He was great at guiding us in the rocky and precarious locations as he composed the shots, but ensuring we were always staying safe and not taking potential risks, the pictures looking really great on the back of the camera.

While he is a modest man about his photography, his pictures tell a story and show off his photographic talents.

I completely recommend Jon to all models and thankyou for a great shoot

I was absolutely thrilled when Jon applied to my casting for a duo shoot with Mothy as I'd been hoping we would get the opportunity to work together.

Pre-comms etc were all great & on the day itself Jon was excellent company, very friendly & laid back, & at all times concerned for our comfort & safety as Mothy & I scrambled up & down rocks.

We all worked together on each shot, discussing the options & Jon was quick to see the opportunities & make the best use of the locations. I was really chuffed when he showed us the images & I think we got some super ones! We talked through what worked & what didn't (posing wise) & what we could change.

Jon is very modest about his abilities but don't let that fool you as he very clearly knows what he's doing & the images speak for themselves.

I very highly recommend Jon, he's an absolute gentleman & I sincerely hope I get the opportunity to work with him again.

This is the 2nd shoot with Jon and even though I know he’s brilliant in every way, it’s still a pleasant surprise!

Jon’s pre comms are great, always polite, thorough, friendly and informative.

On the day, Jon was prompt, respectful, collaborative and just simply ace!

I’ve said it before but Jon is humble - too humble often - and is a total gent when it comes to the BTS stuff, and ever so patient with me too.

I worked with John for the first time in Gloucester prison on Sunday and I am so so glad that I did.

Not only were pre coms great, but he is a true gentleman and ensured that my comfort and privacy were always a priority. We shared a few images we’d like to achieve beforehand and when it came to the shoot itself, he was more than open to ideas and challenges and was determined to find a way to create some absolutely stunning images. His ability to work with natural light and use it to really accentuate the focus of the image is fantastic. He knows his camera like the back of his hand and continued to tweak and change settings until we were both happy with the images we created. I look forward to working with him again soon!

I had a fabulous shoot with Jon today. Pre coms and mood boards really helped me have an understanding of what Jon wanted from our shoot.

I throughly enjoyed working with Jon, he was kind, respectful and we really had fun.. time just fly by.

Jon is a great photographer and takes time to make sure the image, detail , light ( natural ) and angles are really working. I really like that.

I had my first shoot with Jon today and I was so impressed!

He was kind and caring from the get go, pre communication was superb and informative. Was more than happy to help me with direction and parking (I’m prone to getting lost 🤣)

Jon’s technique with taking photos worked really well for us. Rather than non stop clicking Jon really focused on the photo to ensure it was perfect! And the results showed!

Jon is frankly one of the nicest, most honourable and caring people I've ever had the luck to meet.

To have met him as a photographer makes him even more incredible. He's funny, thoughtful, has good ideas about what works in terms of shoots and photographs, and is so respectful.

His style of photography is careful and considerate rather than rapid-fire clicking, which us right up my street.

Jon communicated lots with me before our session, and we had an instant rapport and synergy.

Because of this, we were able to produce some amazing images.

I'd recommend him highly, and can't wait to have an opportunity to work with him again.

He was also exceptionally forgiving of my awful tea-making abilities, and seemed not to notice that I find the concept of left and right confusing 😉

Jon and I shot very briefly last weekend as unfortunately we were rained off and had to postpone our shoot. We met bright (or rather dull) and early to get started and to our dismay, only about half an hour in we noticed a bit of drizzle which quickly progressed into rather heavy rain!

We were very well organised following pre-comm arrangements and I arrived with all of the outfits that we planned on shooting. Jon was really helpful with the shoot preparation, giving his thoughts and letting me know the sort of styles he wanted to capture via a moodboard.

I was highly disappointed that we had to postpone the shoot. I really enjoyed my first shoot with Jon and was really looking forward to working with him again. Not only that but we had started to get into a bit of a rhythm so it was even more frustrating that we couldn't carry on shooting.

I hope that we can reorganise our shoot soon, and fingers crossed for better weather.

I highly recommend working with Jon; he has a great sense of humour and is very kind and attentive. He also produced some fabulous images despite the tricky conditions we were working in.

Thanks for a fun (but brief) shoot Jon! Let's reorganise soon :)

The longest organised shoot came to fruition last weekend at Gloucester prison having plans to shoot with Jon for around 6 months and weather not being on our side whenever we’d tried! And it was so worth the wait!

Jon is an absolute breath of fresh air. Respectful, honest, a bit-too-self-berating, talented and an all round total legend to work with and get to know.

Jon isn’t your fast click kind of guy, the shots are carefully composed, taken well, and he judges shoots on quality not quantity. Totally how I like to work too, so it make for a very aligned 4 hours. Aside from the back of the camera making my heart sing, Jon is just a really lovely person to spend time with. We are talking about our next shoots already, and with Jon’s creativity and talent, I know whatever those shoots are they’ll be epic.

Thank you Jon for the opportunity to work with you, I’m honoured.

Yep! Me here again to leave another glowing reference for Jon!! That’s our third shoot in the bag!!

This time Jon came to me. He arrived on time with a lovely case full off clothing for me to rummage through. I love finding new things to shoot in!! We had a brew while I looked through, picking out things that caught my eye, and then I added bits of mine to create a look with each thing I picked. It was so much fun!! We covered lots of different styles, working with the natural light in different areas of the house. I mean wow, Jon is just fab!! As we shot and he was showing me the boc, I was all excited at the beautiful images he was capturing. Time just disappeared before us as we flowed through the sets. We finished up in the shower, again producing some stunning images.

I love working with Jon! I’m sure I’ve said it before, but he’s not only a great photographer but a real gentleman. He is full of knowledge; we just chat and shoot and bounce ideas off each other and just have the best time! He’s a good soul!

I really look forward to shooting with you again soon. And thank you for another fantastic shoot!

Today was only my second shoot with John, but I feel like I’ve known him for longer than that.

This time we shot at a WW2 camp which was soo much fun!! John had a few outfits and I bought a few along too and off we went on a little adventure creating images and having a good laugh along the way. We shot in a few locations around the site, incorporating the scenes around. When we first arrived I had spotted an old bath that was screaming for me to jump into. So we put that out for some art nude, and then later filled it with water in the middle of a grass field and shot some stunning images with water.

John is ace!! I absolutely love shooting with him. We just roll with whatever we find and it’s always so much fun. John is a great photographer and a great guy. We already have another shoot booked in very soon and I can’t wait to get creative with him again.

Today I had my first shoot with Jon and it was absolutely fantastic!!

I applied for Jon’s casting to shoot at Gloucester Prison. Pre comms were spot on!! Jon shared a mood board of ideas and I put together a selection of outfits that I thought would work, and I must say, we absolutely smashed it!!

Jon is a great photographer. We instantly got along and the whole shoot was fun and full of creativeness. Jon used the natural light beautifully and I was so pleased with what we shot. Each time we looked at the boc, I was skipping with excitement!

Jon is a great guy, professional and friendly, we had such a great shoot! I’m literally buzzing from today!

The second visit by Jon Taylor and a welcome one, it was a tough battle with this sudden incredible heat. It hit 30°c and both model and photographer took regular breaks and worked hard. Really looking forward to seeing your images and your future shoot dates at our studio!
