We met this incredible gentle giant back in 2004, he (male 40.000 kilo) lived there for a number of years and then migrated elsewhere in the vast North-Atlantic.. They hunt for the giant Atlantic Squid on depths of two or three kilometers.They can stay underwater for up to two hours..Their average lifetime is similar to humans, around 70-75 years..older male's sometimes take a young newcomer "under their fins" to make them familiar with their new environment..
