Our 6th shoot, and the epic talent that is Beth Kate simply goes from strength to strength! I never cease to be amazed at Beth's ability to turn my ideas into reality, which in turn generates even more ideas! Beth is a true professional who works tirelessly to realise the images that you are seeking, and which her dance training and flexibility will bring to life. As usual, there were more ideas than time available, so there will just have to be more and more shoots!

Beth Kate is an incredible model and talent. Her professionalism shines through and she is an absolute dream to work with.

Our most recent shoot was at Beth’s apartment. Her place has a contemporary feel and lends itself perfectly to a shoot, whatever your concepts may be.

Beth’s communication prior to the shoot was excellent and we created a little mood board of inspirational shots to help steer us through the half day booking.

I can’t recommend Beth highly enough and look forward to working with her again soon.

Had shoot today with Beth what a wonderful person ,friendly,caring,was at her apartment lots of room light brilliant,lots of plain walls, so tidy even bathroom where we shot from, Kate was such I great person tea was on as soon as I got there I brought biscuits,lol, there is just one downfall,and it’s that I did not shoot with her before , I can not put it into words it was fabulous wonderful shoot, colourful flowers if need a bit of colour in your picture spotless clean place would recommend her 100%

This will definitely not be the last shoot and we are already talking about the next one , may be outdoor if it stops raining , lol

I had a really enjoyable shoot with Beth Kate today. We had been discussing ideas since the early part of 2020 and the shoot was put on hold because of the Coronavirus epidemic. We caught up on the ithemes we discussed over a coffee which Beth Kate kindly offered and had an enjoyable three hour shoot. She is a professional model requiring little direction as she has plenty of experience. She is also a lovely person and the time flew by. She had a great assortment of clothing and we are already planning our next two shoots in the next few months. Beth Kate is simply one of the very best models with whom I have worked and my only regret is I haven't worked with her before. If you haven't worked with her before I feel you ought to as she is highly recommended. Thanks again Beth for a really enjoyable shoot.

My first booking with Beth Kate working through some themes we had discussed prior to the day, some with flash, the rest mostly with natural light. First and foremost, Beth is a terrific model, very hard working and very versatile. She has a great personality and is great company whilst being professional throughout. A beautiful model with a background in dance, Beth created a stunning ballet set including some super motion freeze images and we ran some fashion sets, some portraits and some elegant nude work and boudoir sets. Beth is very expressive, conveying different moods and switches between stylish and relaxed with ease. An absolute gem of a model, I’m already planning another shoot. Thank you Beth for a great day, highly recommended to other creatives.

As first time shoots with a model go this was exceptional.

Beth was easy to work with, understood my badly explained aims for the shoot and readily reinterpreted the ideas images I brought with me. We had some very relaxed chats over cups of tea between sets, she makes it very easy to feel very comfortable around her. I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon shooting with her and I highly recommend her. I’m sure it will not be too long before I’m booking her again to shoot more excellent pictures.

This was my first shoot with Beth Kate and my first shoot after lockdown.

I had been wanting to shoot with her for some time, so when she put up a casting with short notice availability I jumped at the chance. With excellent pre coms the shot was arranged quickly and with ease.

Beth Kate arrived with outfits as discussed and her amazing posing ability. The main themes were art nude using some new posing boxes at the studio and some with her pointe shoes.

Beth Kate posed with ease and great skill. Her professionalism and instinct for nailing a pose shone through. You can see why she is so busy. The four hours seemed to fly by, but together we shot a variety of sets and achieved some magical images that I look forward to editing. I couldn’t be more pleased.

She is also a very friendly and naturally chatty, so easy to get along with and it all adds up to a really enjoyable shoot.

What more can I say other than the greatest 100% recommendation from me and hope that we can shoot together again in the future.

After very long and protracted booking arrangements I finally had a session working with Beth at her home yesterday. The experience was definitely worth the wait!

Beth is a very busy, super talented and experienced model who makes this genre of photography a shear joy. She is thoughtful, her pre and post shoot communications have been excellent and she makes a good cup of tea, her timekeeping was good and she is also blessed with an abundance of patience when experimenting with new ideas as well as introducing her own personal take on the ingredients for successful photography.

After a few (self inflicted), minor tech. glitches our shoot went extremely well - Thank you Beth. 🤗

I greatly look forward to editing the files to obtain that all elusive “Perfect” image and hope to work with Beth again.

My first shoot with Beth Kate, and it went really well.

Pre-shoot comms were great, so Beth arrived (on time) with a case full of outfits.

We shot three sets, and Beth was entirely professional throughout, active in reviewing and developing the set.

In the 'dance' set we did, in particular, she delivered some wonderful poses, with some unique images as a result.

I thoroughly enjoyed the shoot, have no hesitation in recommending Beth, and would be more than happy to work with her again.

Today had the best home shoot with Beth Kate. On location and then a'Cher' look with amazing effect. We then ended the the day with fantastic milk bath and shower. It's hard to describe a shoot with Beth. But suffice to say that I would always recommend her and she brings to each shoot her enthusiasm and beauty to every frame. I think this was our fifth shoot, but who's counting? I am constantly in awe of how completely Beth takes on board my ideas and simply brings them to life!

Beth is a highly professional dancer and model with the perfect figure and complexion to match. She absorbs every idea and works with you to check exactly what is required and how best to turn the idea into a reality. Oh - and she is a delight to be with! Hugely recommended!

Beth Kate was amazing! We had great pre shoot communications and she met all of my requests regarding outfits and looks.

The shoot flowed really well and we rattled through the sets - creating some really beautiful images. Beth’s knowledge, experience and confidence is apparent. We seemed to bounce ideas forwards and backwards all afternoon and Beth stretched my ideas and added some of her own to allow us to make the most of the venue that I had booked for the shoot.

I highly recommend Beth Kate and we’re already planning our next shoot (s) together.

Following a fabulous 1st shoot with Beth a few weeks ago I knew the model I wanted to work with on a commercial dance video. The shoot would rely heavily on the model/dancers talent and understanding of the concept, a series of dances were recorded using 3 fixed video cameras. Pre shoot we exchanged ideas and example footage, discussed music and outfits. Beth took this all onboard and obviously understood exactly what was required. A highly professional model and dancer with intelligence and a great sense of humour. Fantastic figure and perfect blemish free skin. Very highly recommended.

Take in the Alps

In my humble experience, such that it is, and on almost every shoot, there comes a moment when the inner beauty of the model I am photographing - I might call it beauty of the soul or spirit - rises to the surface and can be seen. Usually this occurrence lasts but briefly. On a cold grey skied scudding cloud day and thankfully inside Beth Kate’s warm flat, I witnessed a very different version of that phenomenon: not only did I photograph her as that inner form of beauty became perceptible in her expression and bearing, but the loveliness of this occurrence happened very early in the shoot and continued to be apparent until its end!

I am truly blessed; utterly confounded in how that could be :-) ... I heard myself whispering: “what just happened”.

One thing is certain, and having spent five years researching and writing a dissertation (probably explains the length of my references and my sentences :-)))) ) on Robert Wilson, the American theatre director who invented visual theatre and preferred working with dancers rather than actors, my understanding, taken from Wilson’s, is that dancers know everything there is to know about how to display beauty and where to access it. Having learnt this, the best dancers can sustain an embodied sense of beauty for an entire show. For example, being able to do this is an essential attribute of the ballerina.

Beth, as anyone knows her or has worked with her, is a highly trained dancer. And on this shoot she gifted me the entirety of that experience: that extraordinary discipline and commitment to the task in hand; that willingness to conjure up stillness within movement, and inner movement (or movement of the spirit) within external postures of stillness. If we stopped briefly to chat about a direction or change something up in the surroundings, she would resort to being her everyday self: charming and lovely but not in a mode of performance. As soon as we went back to work she seamlessly returned to the level of intense beauty and poise that she had displayed before the interlude. Since her performance on the shoot took place in her flat there was a wonderful and fascinating coming together of dance and the every day actions of ordinary life, such as sitting on the stairs or staring out of the window to check on the weather. Beth was able to weave these very different modes of movement - the instrumental and the aesthetic - into a single thread from which her postures, actions, gestures and expressions emanated.

All this was done by her without prompting, completely naturally and because she is able to absorb information and direction without being thrown by it. Rather, she uses it to guide her performance - a performance that is already underpinned and shaped by the specific disciplines of the dancer I have tried to describe.

Aside from the brilliance of her performance, I should also say that Beth is one of the most delightful women you are ever likely to meet. She seems completely at ease with herself and therefore totally relaxed in any attire or scenario, enabling her to slip into some different clothes as if she were slipping into another storyline. Subtle shifts of mood and narrative are never lost on her; she could be many people - she was on this shoot - but they are also many versions of herself. That’s the level of her ability: to make a new character her own; to understand that it is born out of her skill as a dancer to shape character through the gestures and disciplines of dance.

The shoot with Beth was six hours in duration. The time flew by as it is want to do if you are engrossed and enjoying yourself as I was. The energy and intensity of our work never once flagged. We didn’t even really take any breaks though I offered them (she would say: well, if you want one). I could have continued to work with her long into the night. Knowing what I now know, I can’t wait to work with her again. I’m just so excited about what’s possible with a model that is as skilled and talented as she is.

How can I make this clearer? Beth is a superb model, and quite capable of rescuing an image from less talented photographers. The session went quickly, with Beth providing excellent suggestions, adopting striking poses and being the perfect hostess. She has my highest regard and is an absolute top recommendation.
