References for Barlow studios

Myself and KateC hosted a studio day at Barlow studios this month. What a studio! It provides everything a model and photographer needs from a massive white infinity cove, to rich textured stone walls, a fireplace, woodland and shower set. I was super impressed when I first walked in! The whole studio is kept warm by various heaters spread out between each room and it's kept clean and tidy. It is also well equipped with all the lighting required.

I throughly enjoyed my time shooting at Barlow over a couple of days and I really look forward to making a return

George once again proved an excellent host for our Studio Day. George has added new sets and props at Barlow, and these make the studio feel refreshed. George was a great help setting up lights and changing backgrounds, and a wise advisor on all matters photographic.

Shot at Barlow studios for the second time at the beginning of this month!

Wonderful warm studio with plenty of amenities and great dressing room space. plenty of props and creative spaces to shoot.

Really recommend this studio and i hope to work there again in the future!

Love Barlow studio , very welcoming , friendly , make u feel right at home, good work area space , loads of sets to choose from, any help or info he's always there to help you throughout your shoot, I would definitely recommend this studio :)

Although I've not worked with any models for quite some time now, I guess about 90% of the studio shoots I ever did were over at Barlow.

It's a great place, plenty of options and a ton of equipment to make use of.

A plentiful supply of tea/coffee & George (the owner) is a 'top guy'!

Always had a great time there & if I ever choose to pick up from where I left off then the first studio for me to visit will definitely be Barlow :)

Had a great day at George's last Tuesday, pre comms were quick and easy, George picked me up from the station early and he makes a brilliant coffee! :)

George was a star all day running back and forth from sets, setting up lighting and moving things around, giving advice, and keeping the kettle going :D

Ooh! 100th reference says a lot!

Excellent day at Barlow yesterday, although George was away he quickly arranged for someone to pick me up and drop me off at the station with time to spare. It's been awhile since I last shot here and it was amazing to see how much had changed, always great to be at a studio where coffee is on tap and the changing room is toasty and well lit!

Looking forward to being back there next week!

I had the pleasure of working at Barlow studios this week for a group shoot & what a pleasure it was!

Firstly George is great & really looks after his models I felt very welcome from beginning to end & I can't wait to go back!

The studio itself is stunning, I love everything about it including location & the wet room is the BOMB.

The group shoots are ran so well I really can't fault a thing.

I would definitely recommend the studio to others a fantastic place to work it really is.

I have worked at Barlow Studio a few times now and I love working there. I was booked for a studio day and I was so excited about working there again. George is really helpful, on hand to help with anything you need and advice which I really appreciated.

The studio itself is really great, lots of different sets and props you can use. I love working there and hope to work there again soon. Would highly commend, thanks George!

I've used Barlow Studios alot over the past few years, find it the most accomodating studio that I've been too, very friendly owner knows his stuff, I can easily recommend Barlow Studio to any one . 🙂

NicolaK booked the session with George at Barlow Studio's for me.

I spoke with George beforehand and what a pleasant and helpful chap!

On the day, I had a couple of technical issues and George was on hand to help in every way possible.

Clearly Nicola and George know each other very well & I just felt like I was part of the family!

I have already started to arrange my next shoot there. Even though it is 75 miles from home I had a wonderful experience thanks to all the assistance – Nothing being too much trouble.

George was once again the perfect host. He was happy to set up set up backgrounds, props and lights, and to recommend lighting arrangements. Everyone in our group felt most welcome, and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of Barlow Studios.

I have been to Barlow Studios a couple of times now and I have enjoyed myself both times. The studio is so great to work in. George is always on hand to help with anything. I was there for a group shoot and he made sure everything was perfect for the photographers and models. I can't wait to go back for my studio day at the end of the month. Thanks George!

I have had a number of shoots at barlow studios , a fabulous studio to work in , by far the best I have been in , lovely sets and warm in the cold weather , help and assistance dont hesitate to ask George ,

Had four shoots at Barlow , good choice of sets and white wall,wide backdrops and easy to get full length shots without shadows on the backdrops using a 50 mm

lens . Good lights on all sets .

George is always welcoming , any extra lights or props he usually finds , and makes a really great cup of tea .

Images I have taken there have been accepted at national and international salons

Would defiantly recommend the studio

It's been farrrr too long since I last shot at Barlow Studios, I've been so busy that it had been year since I last visited. And unfortunately George wasn't there last time I did a day in at the studio so it's been even longer since I saw him.

It was great being back in the studio, George is super friendly and really looks after his models, making sure I had lunch and that I was warm enough :)

It's a great studio to work at and always look forward to my days there. Can't wait to go back again!

A fantastic Studio with so many areas and props you can let your imagination go crazy! George was so helpful and accommodating, he knows photography and lighting inside out so it is a perfect venue for the less experienced photographer who needs some tips.. of course, perfect for the established photographer who needs a varied selection of backdrops. I would highly recommend the studio and will use it again!

so i finally went to Barlows!!! after an incident what happened last year where i let the studio down ...and now i have been i was gutted i couldn't ages ago!!

the studio is set out PERFECTLY !! The fact that there is separate rooms for model and photographers is nice because you are still able to have your own space!!

i shot with stuart and we did a 2 hour shoot including little breaks and i got the opportunity to meet GEORGE!! now what a man ..so welcoming , laid back and offers drinks throughout!!

many different sets and rooms and the location its self is beautiful! woods close and outside the studio is a good space!!

loved it and cant wait to shoot there again!!
