Had another lovely shoot with Russ yesterday.

He had some really cool ideas for sets/lighting etc, with us doing a lot of dance themed shots and jumping in the air he was kind enough to give me plenty of breaks and provided a lovely lunch too :)

He is very easy to work with and I had a lovely day all in all!

From what I saw on the back of his camera I think we got some fantastic shots too!!

Highly recommended and hope to work with him again!!

I had my first shoot with Russ yesterday, and certainly hope it wasn't my last. Communication with Russ was great throughout - he was clear about the look he was going for, times and locations, and communicated well with me so that I felt prepared at the shoot. Russ is such a gentleman and wonderful to work with. He gives great direction, and was more than happy to satisfy my curiosity about how the mind works on the other side of the camera! His work is very detailed and intricate, has a true passion for fashion, photography and the human form. Watching him work was a true pleasure, and I look forward to seeing the finished images. Highly recommended for any style of model.

I have worked with Russ many times now, most recently yesterday, first part of the shoot was a location shoot, we worked in a gorgeous location and got some amazing fashion images, next part of the shoot was at Russ' home studio, as always Russ was so polite, respectful, a total gentleman. As always we had a good laugh and chat and of course great images.

No matter how many times I work with Russ he always has new ideas each time and the images we get are always totally different from the last.

Thank you for a great shoot and look forward to the next very soon.

Had a very enjoyable vintage fashion / lingerie / boudoir nude shoot yesterday with Russ at my home. As would be expected - given Russ has previously lectured in photography at a university and is currently an external examiner for another uni for a similar such course - pre-shoot communication was excellent, he came extremely well prepared (had the most portable and effective kit I have as yet seen - which was perfect as he had travelled down by train), had a clear idea of the types of images he wished to nail, was able to give direction well and was both highly personable and professional in his approach. I felt safe and at ease at all times and at no times were boundaries pushed.

The images on the back of his camera were also (unsurprisingly) impressive and I am very much looking forward to seeing the final results. I will be working with Russ again in a couple of months and would definitely not hesitate to recommend him to others. Very highly recommended! Thank-you Russ :) xx

Shot with Lightingman on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed our shoot! He had already laid out his home studio ready, picked me up from the metro and was very friendly and chatty throughout. He maintained a good balance between relaxed and having ideas for what he wanted to do, and had reference material to show me when I arrived. From what I saw on the back of the camera we got some great results too. I hope to work with him again in the future!

Absolutely great guy pre communication was brilliant showed up on time great ideas knew exactly want he wanted and his ideas were amazing felt totally at ease and enjoyed the whole shoot highly recommended definitely would work with Russ again was a pleasure :-D

He remains one of my favourite photographers to shoot with and is recommended to all. :)

I worked with Russ on a full day shoot, and we didn't once run out of things to do.

He had so many ideas and time just flew by, he knows exactly what he wants to get and give you direction throughout.

A genuine, nice guy who treats you with respect and makes you feel comfortable throughout.

I really enjoyed our shoot together and hope to work with him again in the future :)

I had a day long shoot with Russ and found it to be productive, creative and incredibly enjoyable.

We had discussed doing a Jazz-age theme beforehand which was right up my street to begin with so i had high hopes for this shoot to say the least. I certainly wasn't disappointed. The whole idea was collaborative from start to finish and after we had achieved what we had set out to do with our first theme we evolved onto other ideas including a Helmut Newton-inspired theme.

Russ is a very good photographer with a great eye for lighting and he gives encouraging and constructive direction where necessary but is equally happy to allow the model to move naturally and as they see fit.

Russ was friendly and a great conversationalist. He's also respectful and polite at all times. I was happy, relaxed and comfortable throughout.

I look forward to another shoot. Highly recommended.

Had a fantastic shoot with Russ a while back now!... Second shoot working together and if possible it was even better than before!... Russ came to shoot at my home!... had lots of great ideas and it was good to catch up!... We had a laugh shooting and got some fantastic images!.... Just worked so well together!... Russ is a great photographer and I would always recommend him to both new and experienced models!.... hopefully we will shoot more in the future!... Always a pleasure and thanks again Russ. Elle X

I worked with Russ for the first time yesterday over in Newcastle. What a lovely man!

Russ very kindly offered me accommodation too as we had an all-day shoot and the journey there and back would have been a bit much. He looked after me so well and I was made to feel more than comfortable in his home. The shoot itself was great and I had so much fun! We shot a variety of ideas and even got to nip out to do some at the beach. It was such a productive and enjoyable day. Russ is an absolute pleasure to work with and comes highly recommended by me! I would love to work with him again.

I've worked with Russ several times now and it's always a pleasure. He's a lovely person and a complete gentleman, always respectful of model's levels and comfort, and shoots in a very relaxed manner that makes each shoot fly by. He's one of my favourite people to work with and I can't recommend him highly enough.
