Russ replied to one of my castings and we quickly sorted something out, he had a clear idea of the type of images he wanted to create and we set to work on sorting out outfits. As this was my first trip to Newcastle I was unfamiliar with the local transport but Russ organised that on his end. When I arrived he was already waiting and we headed to his home studio. His home studio is well equipped and he clearly knows who he is doing. We worked through a variety of different looks with breaks as well. A very friendly and professional man, I would recommend Russ.

Had another fab shoot with Russ last week, this time he hired a make up artist to do a full body paint so we could do some classic greek statue sets.

I had so much fun and really glad he chose me as the model for this project, I also can't wait to see his finished book that I feature in from our last few shoots :)

I really enjoy working with Russ, he looks after you extremely well and gives you plenty of breaks. He is also very funny and easy to chat too, I really enjoy spending the day with him and it's a pleasure being in his company!

Highly recommended by me and hope to work with him again soon :)

Had a fantastic shoot yesterday with Russ!

Something creative but simplistic and like a powerful piece of art!

This is now the second time I've worked with Russ first time he opened my eyes to the world of modelling a little and made me feel extremely comfortable and this time as the make-up artist!

He made me feel vert calm in doing my make-up and I had a lot of fun with this project, and from the back of the camera everything looked amazing - can not wait to see the final pics!

P.s he even made me a cuppa - which is the cherry on top ;)

Hopefully won't be our last time working together, look forward to seeing you in the future!

Another fab shoot with Russ!

Each shoot is filled with creativity and some fantastic lighting set ups. He shows you the images during the shoot so you can see what you are getting and how to work your body best for the lighting set up he has done. He always provides lunch which is very kind of him, the day is nice and relaxed and he gives you plenty of breaks to make sure you don't get worn out.

Lovely person to be around and hope to work with him agian!

I have had the pleasure in meeting Russ and having some coaching from him both at his home and on a near by location and have enjoyed working with him

I think my phtography work has improved if anyone is looking to improve their skills I would highly recommend Russ as he is easy going and profecinal both in his work and his attitude

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Russ again when I modelled for a small group guided tuition day he led at the Hardwick Hall Hotel. Communication as usual was great, he was well prepared and organised (again as usual) and he was great at teaching as well - the workshop went really smoothly and was very well received and some great images were achieved over the course of the day. I am really looking forward to seeing some of the final edits. I cannot recommend Russ highly enough and look very much forward to working with him again when we do another such workshop this coming Autumn.

After working with Russ both today and yesterday I thought I should add some new feedback.. I have worked with Russ on all sorts of projects, most recently some teaching/ workshops.

As well as being fab to work with and one of the most genuine and kind photographers I've worked with he is also very knowledgeable, he really knows his stuff about all aspects of photography and lighting.

I can't recommend Russ highly enough, I love working with him and look forward to our next shoot.

I had a shoot with Russ last week when I stopped to Newcastle during my tour. It was an absolute pleasure to work with him! Russ is fantastic with his lighting, a perfectionist, and has a great attention to details to ensure he captures the shot he has in mind. He is also great at giving direction when needed, he has brilliant ideas but is also happy to hear yours. I am really happy with the images produced and would definitely work with him again. I did a shoot with Russ and I was at nervous at first but he made me feel at ease! He was friendly and it was nice to talk to him about all sorts of stuff and bond on a more friendly level not just "photographer and model" and I appreciated that because he allowed me to be myself!

He was kind enough to offer me breaks and made sure I was safe to getting home I could tell he really cared about his models and his work - I will defenitely work with Russ again because he was so lovely and great with direction and help which is just what I needed! :D

I had another lovely shoot with Russ shooting at my local studio and then finishing the shoot at my home.

He is always a pleasure to work for, has some really cool ideas and amazing lighting! We had a great dance themed shoot at my local studio to start with and as usual he showed me the images throughout the shoot, there were some absolutely crackers in there and really happy with what we managed to achieve :)

Russ was extremely understanding of the fact I wasn't feeling too well that day and kept checking that I was ok which was very kind of him!

The last part of our shoot at my home he was extremely respectful of my house which is always greatly appreciated haha!

Really great guy and hope to work with him again. Highly recommended :)

I had my most recent shoot with Russ today, I have worked with Russ many times and each shoot gets better and better. I loved the ideas that Russ had for todays shoot, we worked through different variations and styles and as always Russ was more than happy for me to add my own ideas too and I absolutely loved the results.

Shoot was laid back.. plenty of chatting and Russ makes the nicest coffee (always good!) A fab photographer, genuine person, lovely friend who I can't recommend highly enough.

Great shoot today with Russ. We did a home shoot at my home, he travelled over, arrived on time and we had a chat about ideas before starting the shoot. I felt very comfortable, he was friendly and professional and had loads of ideas and concepts to use

Pre shoot comms were great, and the photos I have seen on the camera are looking really good. Would recommend to new or experienced model

I worked with Russ on my mad whirlwind tour of the North! Russ is extremely kind, considerate, professional and fantastic to work with! His lighting is stunning and we produced some beautiful results together. We worked together in Russ's lovely home which was warm, comfortable and a lovely place to work in.

Russ was also super kind to have me stay over in his home at fairly short notice, which I greatly appreciated as it meant that I could get a good nights sleep before I made the mammoth drive back to Bristol in the morning! I had such a peaceful nights sleep in Russ's lovely home. Super highly recommended and really hope we work together again, Helen x

I had my first shot with Russ yesterday, had a really great shoot had some greats ideas and talked it through with me before hand he gave great direction and I felt very at ease. It was a home studio shoot and was very professional he knew what he was doing and what he wanted to achieve. He also gave me a lift home as it was getting a little late and makes a great cuppa lol.

I would definitely recommend him especially for some quality pictures for your portfolio looking forward to working with him again!

I had a fantastic shoot with Russ at my flat. I was a bit worried that we would run out of ideas in the space of 4 hours, but Russ is such a lovely and creative person that the time flew by. I would highly recommend Russ to any model, and I look forward to working with him again.

Russ was fun to work with, we had a chat and a laugh and I love the images I have seen so far.

Had another fantastic shoot with Russ on friday.

As always he was the perfect gentleman throughout the shoot. Making me feel confident and comfortable throughout the shoot.

We done a few different sets & we both had our own input & ideas added to them.

I was shown the photos throughout the shoot & the lighting looked fantastic.

Cant wait to see the final versions!!
