I would thoroughly recommend Russ, he is the consummate professional, very creative with some great experimental ideas. The 4 hour shoot just flew and I felt thoroughly relaxed and he made me feel at home providing refreshments and snacks, 5 star :)

I had my most recent shoot with Russ yesterday, shoots with my lovely friend Russ just get better and better each time. Even though we have worked together so many times, each shoot is totally different.

This time we did half location, half studio shoot. I loved the setting that Russ chose and it worked perfectly for the look we were going for, the images I have seen so far are fab, so happy with them! As always Russ was so kind and checking if I was ok and not too cold.

Second half of the shoot was in the studio, we worked through several outfits and lighting set ups.. Russ is so talented with lighting, so much knowledge and very creative too.

As usual such a fun shoot, we had so many laughs and chats while getting lots of great images.

I cannot recommend Russ highly enough and can't wait for our next shoot.

Russ is a true creative, and a true gent - a fabulous combination, I think.

I had my second shoot with Russ yesterday and it felt like such a great collaboration - I got a lot of enjoyment out of talking through the ideas and discussing the moods/themes/light/clothing. He has a fantastic eye and frames images in unique ways - I like that he doesn't always follow the rules when it comes to framing and lighting but he gets some fantastic results.

Russ is also really great company and makes the best tea and coffee. I've got a lot of respect for saffron tea and proper coffee. He is clearly a multifaceted human being, so conversation is really easy. We chatted easily about philosophy and art and politics and it felt consistently like an easy natural conversation.

Highly recommended from me and would definitely work with Russ again.

Just had my first shoot with this gentleman. He made me feel comfortable from.the start and have gentle guidance where needed, I'm so pleased with the results and can't wait to get the prints.

This is the second time I have worked with Russ, and it was just as much fun as the first.

We headed out on location into the hills of Northumberland for a fantastic art nude shoot. As always Russ's pre-shoot communication was excellent, and he had found a great forest for us to work in. He had a good plan so we were able to to move about between many locations. Even though there was hill climbing, he sensibly organised the hardest bit first!

As always Russ is so easy to talk to and is comfortable to be around. His gentle direction is clear and helpful, but he left me to find my own poses too. I find it easy to work as a team and share ideas with him. He was conscientious making sure we would not be disturbed by dog walkers and he was attentive of my needs, making sure I wasn't getting cold as we worked. He even brought some snacks to keep us going, which was much appreciated.

The time flew by and I think we talked and laughed our way through the day. Would recommend Russ to anyone, and really hope we cross paths again.

Today was my first shoot with Russ, along a walk in Durham. He is delightfully communicative, easy to talk to and as happy to let me pose on my own as he is to offer subtle directions when he thinks it would improve the image. I'd work with him again in a heartbeat :)

Shot with Russ a couple of times now. We always have lots of laughs and the shoot goes over pretty quick. Ideas flow easily when shooting and would definitely recommend him and can't wait to work with him again 😊

Had the absolute joy of working with Russ today. What a wonderfully professional and fun photographer he is. His pre-comms were perfect so I felt very organised and clear about what we intended to shoot, and was able to arrive stress free.

Russ was so easy to work with, and I felt comfortable and confident from the moment I arrived. We started with some casual fashion and I felt able to pose freely with the occasional helpful and clear direction from Russ. I felt like we were able to work as a team, and the process felt very natural.

He had organised a lovely mua to paint me silver from head to toe and he waited patiently for this to happen, preparing the studio, so that we could start shooting once I was ready.

He was very attentive of my needs, making sure we too lots of breaks and that I was comfortable and fed throughout. He even brought a dressing gown and some super snuggly socks to keep my feet warm!

Looking at the back of the camera I was so pleased with the results. He has a fabulous understanding of lighting and his experience shows. I cannot wait to work with Russ again in the, hopefully, near future. He is highly recommended to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

Worked with Russ a few times and I always enjoy working together with him! He is always kind enough to help me with my bags and meet me at the metro station nearby!

He is always professional and respectful of a girls privacy when getting ready which is always appreciated!

He is such a lovely guy with a loving personality and his passion shines through in his photography and his work!

I can't wait to see this project finished Russ as its been a pleasure so far working with you!

What a fabulous shoot Russ and I had yesterday!

Pre-shoot comms were perfect, he picked me up from the train station and we started with coffee and a chat. Although Russ definitely works to get the best shots out of a set, I felt relaxed whilst shooting and he allowed plenty of tea breaks - :)

I love what I saw on the back of the camera - Russ has really good command of light but also isn't afraid of trying something different and unconventional. We mixed up classical and contemporary styles wonderfully, I think.

Really looking forward to working with Russ again the the future if he'll have me!

Definitely recommended.

Worked with Russ many times over the past few years, each shoot always gets better and better.

Most recently worked with Russ today, as always we chatted, had a laugh and he does make an excellent coffee.. An added bonus to shooting with Russ, haha.

We worked through several different 'sets'.. We put our ideas together and everything worked so well, I am absolutely over the moon with the images from today, each image different from the next as Russ is so talented and so good with lighting and photography skills.. Oh and a perfectionist too.

Good friend, fab shoot, total gentleman and loved the images.. I cant recommend Russ highly enough.

By a cup of coffee we talked through which kind of shoot we going for and which part of the house we taken as a background. And I planned the outfits and theme I wanted to achieve.
