Fantasy Dabblers

We had a week with Bad Dolly in Portugal. It was lovely to have the opportunity to work with her on location as well as in a home studio setting. She came out on her own for a couple of days and then worked duo. She is always full of life and helpful during shoots. We have worked with her several times in our studio, both solo and as a duo. She is very versatile and a pleasure to work with. Glad we have bookings for next year already made.

There are some models you could happily work with over and over again. Bad Dolly is one of those. Whenever we get the opportunity to shoot together we always have a lot of fun but also create something special. There is such a happy atmosphere of creativity that it inspires me to challenge myself and always seek something new that we can try.

As ever, pre-shoot communication was so easy and straightforward. We were able to arrange everything without any fuss. When I arrived to collect Dolly we were soon chatting about past shoots and mutual acquaintances and by the time we reached the studio for our shoot it was almost as if no time had past since we last worked together. Working so efficiently together we covered so many different themes and styles with Dolly always happy to take my simple concept and make it her own. I just needed to make a suggestion and there would be a positive response and a countersuggestion of what she had brought with her that would be ideal for that set. Working with such a model is just the most joyous experience.

I would take every opportunity to work with this lady. You should too.

Had a fun shoot with Bad Dolly today - we chatted, laughed and took some photos too! Communication was clear and quick, the shooting flowed very easily and the conversation was entertaining - an enjoyable Sunday morning. Thanks Dolly....sorry about the stairs 😱

Yesterday I had my first of many shoots to come in Dolly's home for three hours. As she mentioned in my reference, the time flew by very quickly for the fact that it was a very productive shoot. While we were creating beautiful images, we had lovely conversations with tea and coffee.

As far as Dolly’s concerned, I do not need at any thing, her references speaks itself. But I will say this. I had a wonderful shoot with Dolly and will not hesitate to work with her again.

I highly recommend her.

Bad Dolly had some time available at a studio near me and so we arrange our first shoot together at very short notice. All the comms were excellent. At the studio she was very friendly and easy going which allowed me to relax and really enjoy the shoot.

Bad Dolly put out a casting call in my area which I applied for. I was very pleased i got the job and excited to work with such an experienced model. The shoot was easily arranged with awesome pre shoot comms.

Fantasy Dabblers

One of us had a 4 hour duo shoot with Dolly and Penny Lee at our home/studio. In a relaxed and enjoyable session, they easily created lots of wonderful shots for the styles and storylines we wanted. They both knew from the time of booking that they would be working with just one of us – and the one with visual impairment and other disabilities. Both were very helpful when needed. They also stayed overnight and were friendly and helpful house guests. We will be shooting with them again soon.

Yesterday I had my first solo shoot with bad dolly, having been fortunate to shoot with her a couple of times previously 2-3 years ago in group shoots, boy what an superb, professional model she has developed into... Not least a beautiful lady who lights up the camera, we shot fashion & beauty in local gardens, she moves into poses with ease and works well with you inputting ideas and suggestions to get the best shots, highly recommended & can't wait to work with her again in the future x

I just had 3 amazing shoots with Dolly in the last few weeks. A few weeks ago we shot at a stunning location and shot vintage clothing and headpieces before a shoot the following day at my own studio, mostly using natural light. Then this week i had a great shoot with Dolly and Jezebelle and shot mostly fashion and headpieces as a duo.

Having known Dolly for years, and shot often with her, she has become a very good friend also and its always a laugh working with her. We always produce great images as there is no need for me to direct her so i can concentrate on my lighting and ideas and on shoots its a proper collaboration, listening to each others ideas, both of us getting creative and quirky with sets and what i have said before about Dolly, is how versatile she is at all types of photography, wether vintage, fashion, quirky, headpieces and more, she excels at them all and has a great range of expressions to match the shot.

Thanks for another great set of shoots and see you again next month :)

I finally had the pleasure of an all day shoot with the amazing duo, Bad Dolly and Jezebel, and what a pleasure it was, too.

We worked on a Toulouse Lautrec theme whereby Dolly completely wowed me with her intelligent, creative and witty interpretations of TL's paintings and my half baked ideas! Nothing was too much trouble for this duo and they really went the extra mile to capture and express the ambiance of the Belle Epoque. I really can't recommend Dolly highly enough and anyone who hasn't shot with this awesome model is missing a very big trick indeed.

It is always fun having a shoot with Bad Dolly and this was no exception. This was the first time we had shot her and Emily Jezebelle as a duo but we could soon see why they work together often as they are extremely good together. Both input ideas and mixed up props to create new looks. It was a very productive day and we look forward to working with Bad Dolly again later this year.
