References for Artemis Fauna

I was privileged last week to shoot again with Artemis last week, this time at her rambling pile in Bedfordshire; quite possibly the only reason that would that keep me in Bedfordshire on a Friday afternoon!

Artemis is simply one of the very, very best models around. She’s professional, yet relaxed and friendly, and is willing to contribute her wealth of experience to the shoot - an invaluable and welcome collaborator. She’s also a charming person, great fun and easy to get on with; a complete joy to work with, in fact. We rattled through a huge number of sets, and I’m delighted with the results.

Once again, we already have plans afoot for another shoot and I can’t wait! In the meantime, I cannot recommend Artemis too highly.

Thanks for another great shoot, Artemis, and here’s to the next!

Second part of a Bowie themed shoot with Artemis, this time at my home. Costumes, props and jewellery were awaiting Artemis to weave her magic, and boy what a spell she cast over the following 8 hours!

I had asked Artemis to bring her theatrical makeup kit to create a Kabuki look - the classical Japanese theatrical style that had influenced Bowie to create his iconic Ziggy Stardust and Aladdin sane makeup. Artemis really impressed me with her artistry in applying such a striking makeup. I am really happy with the images we created and I am looking forward to creating several photomontages for my Bowie tribute book [a few quick edits from the shoot can be seen on my page].

I have lost count, 8th or 9th shoot?, with Artemis and as usual the pre shoot comms were excellent and the shoot itself was both professional and fun [although I'm sorry it got a little emotional towards the end]. So once again, I would highly recommend Artemis - fabulous model and lovely person. Looking forward to our next shoot.

I had my first photo shoot with Sarah last week at her home/studio in Berkshire. Pre-shoot communication was perfect and everything went according to plan. Sarah is at least as beautiful as she appears in her pictures and a delightful person in every respect. She is also highly professional in her approach, knows a great deal about photography and is thus very easy to work with. She poses naturally, with the grace and elegance of a dancer, and conveys mood and feeling very well indeed. Her home studio is spacious and very well appointed, offering several different settings, with good quality artificial lighting available, if needed. I can happily recommend Sarah without reservation and look forward to working with her again.

What can I say about this lady that hasn't already been said? She's super special :)

We spent a whole day just frolicking, creating pretty pictures, nattering, it's like I'd known her for years. She is so down to earth and easy to get along with. She's full of ideas, accommodating, helpful and kind natured. Shooting one of PP's top models is always unnerving and I can't begin to describe how wonderful she is!

This lady has phenomenal versatility and needs absolutely no direction but is happy to work with any idea or concept. She poses effortlessly and naturally. There are so many compliments to leave her that they couldn't possibly all fit into one reference :)

I would absolutely jump at the chance to work with her again and thank you so much for a lovely, lovely day :)

Having worked with Artemis on a duo shoot with Rachelle previously, I jumped at the opportunity to join them in Portugal. This was my first overseas shoot, so I was actually quite nervous about what to expect when working with other Togs. I needn't have worried!

I arrived to a very warm welcome, provided with a drink and settled down pretty quickly. The trip was 3 days and could easily have been twice as long. We had plenty of time to shoot in multiple locations in multiple styles. The girls were always willing to work with us on individual ideas, even when they were outside of the scheduled shooting times.

The planning, food, service and attention to details was great and we were left wanting for nothing.

My individual time with Artemis was fantastic, proving once again what a top model she really is. Clothed, lingerie, swimwear or nude, Artemis is incredible. Moving effortlessly from one pose to another showing a different side to her beauty with every turn.

All in all, a fantastic trip with great people. I would highly recommend either a UK or overseas shoot with this beautiful lady both inside and out. Xx

Had a great overseas shoot with Artemis and Rachelle in Portugal.

The food, thanks Ian the service and attention to details was brilliant even down to sun cream provided in our rooms nice.

we had plenty of time with Artemis and Rachelle who shot individually and together, i took tons of pictures.

A totally amazing trip with a great group of people. I cant recommend either of them enough and hopefully will be with them next year :)

I have shot with Artemis a number of times but this was very special traveling to Portugal to shoot with her and Rachelle Summers.. Artemis has worked so hard to ensure this trip was successful by going out a few days early to scout locations.. The villa we stayed in was absolutely ideal for shooting, and on the trips out the locations she had found were fantastic... It was such a relaxed and fun time I didn't really want it to end ..The photos and videos we produced were just what I was looking for...

Thank you for such a superb experience abroad and all your effort in ensuring its success..

Artemis organised and ran a workshop in the Algarve, Portugal recently. The workshop was so good that I did it twice, set in a large villa with tremendous shooting options and with excursions to some fabulous natural and derelict locations as part of the package. After flying in to Faro airport I didn't need to spend a single Euro for the whole time I was there. The accommodation, food, drinks, air-conditioned minibus were all provided and made it an exceptional, great value trip.

Her posing and performance, twice a day for 3 hour sessions were excellent. The locations she had scouted, her dedication and commitment to getting the shot are beyond reproach. Her variety of styles and ability to match the outfit, situation and surroundings was truly first class. I would say that Artemis is THE most versatile model I have ever worked with and this trip was inspirational.

The trip overall was superb, and I would thoroughly recommend both Artemis and the trip to anyone.

Have recently returned from a shoot in Portugal With Artemis,her partner IainT and Rachelle Summers.

We stayed in a lovely villa,was made to feel very welcome with plenty to eat and drink.The girls worked their socks of not only during the photography side but having done a lot of research of different locations beforehand.

I had the pleasure of meeting Artemis on Sunday at a workshop with Carla Monaco and the Yerbury's. Artemis is a very enchanting character who works insanely hard and has bags of passion and drive to achieve the best possible. I look forward to working with her again in the not to distant future. I worked with Artemis on a recent workshop held by Trevor and Fay Yerbury. We had the luxury of two first class Models that day and Artemis was one of them, in terms of ability, talent and personality I cannot fault either of them as they were both superb. I don't need to tell you how incredibly beautiful she is, you can see that in all of the images in her portfolio.

Talking to Artemis was easy and communication was free flowing despite the fact that I'm sure she was aware of my relative inexperience in posing someone quite as professional as her. She got the balance spot on, in so much as she would allow me to pose her and suggest locations and compositions which, I'm sure were obvious to her, wouldn't work. Never the less she allowed me the space to discover those things for myself but would then refine and encourage with fine tuning to the pose as each interaction continued. This is one of the things that makes the difference between and good model and a superb one in my opinion.

Artemis even want the extra mile by commenting on one of my completed images and giving constructive advice on the image. And finally, I just have to say, some of those poses... WOW..

Would I work with her again, in a heartbeat and I really hope we can arrange another session very soon.

Well... another fabulous shoot with Artemis, once again at her awesome house, this time with Rachelle Summers in a duo shoot. Having both two models and a whole bunch of lights to deal with made me quite nervous, but I really needn't have worried. The shoot was fun, relaxed (even when dodging wobbly boom arms) and incredibly rewarding.

Her creativity and her ability to pose made the shoot a total dream, and in each of the four different sets we shot I really quickly got to the images I wanted. As a photographer who likes to collaborate on a shoot, working with Artemis Fauna is always a joy as not only does she take direction incredibly well and interpret even the vaguest of directions from me, but she also contributes her own ideas and helps me to push the boundaries of what I think I can do.

Can't recommend highly enough!

Had a fabulous shoot yesterday with Artemis at her amazing house. I was made immediately welcome and felt very relaxed from the start. Artemis is an incredible model with poses that range from the traditional to the quirky. She has that rare ability to tune in to what the photographer is thinking almost before they have thought of it themselves.

I love it when a shoot is a collaboration between model and photographer and with Artemis you get precisely that. If you're looking for a friendly, intelligent, stunningly beautiful model brimful of ideas, then you really should work with Artemis. She's terrific and I can't wait to work with her again.

I have waited a long time to work with this beautiful and very talented lady, but it was worth the wait! After several days of hot dry weather it broke the day before our outdoor shoot, so everywhere was already wet, then at the point of meeting Artemis the heavens opened again! Thankfully it eased after a few minutes but there were further showers during the morning, being able to work under tree canopy helped at those times but it was still damp and somewhat muddy. Was Artemis deterred - not at all. It made the shoot even more challenging, as it was we were working in a popular country park within the city boundary on a Sunday morning, but Artemis was brilliant and determined. She is very talented and professional not complaining once about the conditions, which were very much less than comfortable, creating some wonderful shapes and images.

Despite her well deserved success she is very down to earth with a personality as gorgeous as her looks and a great sense of humour. Working with her isn't work, it is a very enjoyable time with a very lovely and beautiful lady with great images thrown in.

I truly hope we get another chance, (with better weather and conditions), in the not too distant future, I am already looking forward to another shoot with this great, great young lady.

After a fab 2 hour shoot at Sandon Studio earlier this year,just knew we had to get together again,so when I noticed Artemis was on tour,not far away,couldn't resist.

Artemis was dead on time,although the weather was not looking good for us.We kicked off with a little picnic I'd brought along,which put us both in a good mood to shoot.The rain cleared and it remained that way for the next 4 fabulous hours,only returning as we walked back to the cars.

Got some fab pics......what a fantastic model Artemis is,and such a joy to work with.and also a lot of fun...we had a great laugh together.

100% recommended by me of course,and we're gonna do it all over again next month....can't wait.

Over the weekend I had a opportunity to work with Artemis for the sixth time

Working a Map studio for the first time we worked in a Studio environment

Artemis as ever is a fantastic model to work with, I think she is what I might call a Modographer

A hybrid between a Model and Photographer. To get great pictures you need to work as a team, and that is what this lady does with both style and a great element of fun

We created some outstanding images and completed a great breath of work.

That is down to Artemis, her skill, style and personality

I can not recommend this lady enough, any photographer at any level should work with this lady

Artemis kindly let us know when she was going to be shooting in our area and was great at communicating options and dealing with the studio. On the day she was creative, helpful and adventurous. I just wanted to thank Artemis for a really wonderful shoot at Map studios.

Artemis flexed her schedule to help me after my late late arrival following some rather big problems on the trains.

It was a real pleasure to work with Artemis, who provided me with heaps of ideas and guidance and of course posed exquisitely. I have taken away some superb photographs and Artemis has even given me some new composition ideas which are great and I will definitely use again and again.

We have a second shoot booked already, can't wait.
