I had the absolute pleasure of working with Mike yesterday at my home and to say the shoot exceeded all my expectations (which were pretty high ;)) is an understatement!!

Mike and I had been communicating and admiring each other's work for quite some time before we were finally able to coordinate our diaries and get a shoot organised, to the point that by the time we met for the shoot I already felt like I knew him fairly well and so was at ease instantly in his presence. He is one of life's truely lovely, geuine and warm people and a pleasure to hang out with. As far as his photography goes, in one word - awesome!! He took the time to chat to me before we got to work to establish a rapport and find out what made me tick and what I wanted to get out of the shoot and then we basically threw all our ideas into a pot and awesomeness came out the other side :)!!!

Mike works in such a relaxed manner, with a clear idea of what he wants to achieve, all backed up with the technical expertise to pull it off. His creative input is genuis and inventive and the outcome of the shoot is that I am super, super excited to see the final edits and even more super excited to work with him again :)!! Thank you so much for a fab shoot and of course you come highly highly recommended :)

I've worked with Mike 5 times now and loved every time! This time was a creative collaboration on a video shoot and Mike was brilliant, coming up with the perfect location and discussing with me to come up with the story in depth before we got shooting. He is one of my favourite people to work with and I look forward to next time!

Cor ......... What a shoot i had with this bundle of fun!!!!

I had been in talks for a fair while with michael and i had the pleasure of working with him on thursday! Wow what a shoot. After a very busy couple of days and being rather tired and a little achy i couldnt have wished for anyone better to walk through the door. Michael came in full of energy with the most amazing sense of humor just what i needed to get my energy levels back up to speed. I have admired his work for a long time so was excited to see what he could produce. He turned up with an amazing wardrobe which i admittedly got a little over excited about and he became a bit of a stylist too. We got through lots of cool ideas and generally had an absolute blast on shoot. To add to the fun we had a visit from the incredible Artemis Fauna which added to an already great shoot :-) Hi BOC'S look awesome so i cant wait to see what the finished results are like. Michael is a fun, down to earth and genuine guy with a clear talent for photography, 100% recommended by me and i hope to have the chance to work with Michael again in the future

What a fantastic day!! I am extremely lucky and so glad that I got the chance to work with Mike today!

His communication was spot on and even organised a location for us to shoot in last minute and what a cracking location it was! We had the opportunity to work in the Natural Light studio and my god it couldn't have gone any better.

Mike is a genuinely lovely guy and made you feel welcome and comfortable from the word go. It's always difficult from messages but honestly he is such a wonderful character it was an absolute pleasure to meet and work with him today.

Mike is fantastic in having his own ideas and he really knows his stuff with Natural light. We got through so many sets and completely different looks, we even worked on a video that I cannot wait to see.

I am extremely happy with todays shoot. It was fun, productive and I know 100% that we will have SO many amazing shots.

Extremely happy model and I cannot wait for our next shoot!

Had a fantastic second shoot with Mike on Wednesday. He came to my home, and we spent a lovely creative morning swapping story and picture ideas, and experimenting with natural light and filters and bits of tinsel. :) My house is overflowing with costumes and props which are crying out to be used, and Mike was extremely creative in taking the initiative to do so. Mike is a totally lovely guy, and I hope it won't be too long before we work together again.

Well what can I say about Mike, marvelous creative photographer. I was on Mike's workshop today in London, two great models arranged to shoot. I wanted to attended this, as Mike works like me with natural light. His portfolio is amazing, so I new Mike could learn me something. This is what he did, some cool locations. Plus some great creative tips, and explaining how he see's a shot.

Mike is a fab guy, and loves to pass on his ideas to help get the perfect shot. I was very impressed all round with the workshop. As for me passing on ideas to Mike, how to use a reflector? I think I know where Mike would put it!

Great Day shooting Mike, hope we can work together again.

Crikey was I lucky to get a place on Mikes mentoring day today! When he put the casting out I was just in the right place at the right time and was one of the first to ask for a place and I am genuinely glad I did. Just got back from a really great day, learnt absolutely loads and can't wait to try some of the techniques that Mike so kindly shared. His style of teaching is effortless, there is no rush, no complicated technical jargon, he is a very creative and talented photographer and it is clear from the outset that he very much enjoys passing on his skills. Throughout the day he very often checked to see if everything was ok and was we getting what we expected it is obvious he is passionate about his photography and also feels the same about his teaching/mentoring, a genuinely nicer, caring person would be hard to find, he really did want you to get the best from the day. I would do another course with him at the drop of a hat, a genuine big thanks for today Mike.

I was lucky enough to attend Mike's inaugural natural light workshop, & well worthwhile it was too. Mike has always been helpful & free with his advice when I've messaged him in the past, & at last I finally met him face to face.

He proved to be as eager to instruct, advise & help as ever, ensuring he worked with all the photographers present, as well as keeping an eye on the excellent models he'd arranged. All comms went without a hitch, & the day went just as it had been outlined.

Mike helped me learn a lot, without being "pushy". He is friendly to talk to, and easy to be around.

I have no problem recommending him to prospective "students" & models alike.

I worked with Mike for the fourth (?!) time last week during a workshop he was hosting for a group of photographers on the South Bank. As always, Mike is awesome fun to work with - he is very creative, enthusiastic and friendly - the best combination for a great shoot! I look forward to working with him again at the end of the month and he is highly recommended :)

I was on Mike's workshop today and we learnt all about shooting light, both the natural variety and in weight. He banned anything apart from cameras on today's workshop. I learnt loads of stuff that I'll be taking into future shoots with me.

Highly recommended even though I noticed an evil grin on his face when the challenges got harder lol.

Had an amazing time in Mike's Natural Light Photography Instruction Course! From the casting response to post shoot comms, Mike was easy to talk to and we communicated well. He is a natural photographer, who clearly loves his work & helping others. He was very professional and fun to work with. I was surprised at how quickly the whole shoot passed, which is tough for a group shoot. He was a great teacher, and was very considerate of the models. I high recommend him! Am looking forward to woking with him again!

I had an absolutely awesome shoot with Mike at an abandoned warehouse in the morning, he picked me up and we went together and as soon as we got there he found some really great areas to shoot in and had a really creative eye trying different things. He was so easy to get along with and I felt comfortable throughout our shoot, he always made sure I felt ok as it was fairly chilly.

As well as being a really great enthusiastic photographer (the images looked amazing on the back of the camera!) Mike is also a really lovely person. I enjoyed our shoot and I hope we get to shoot together again. I'd recommend him to anyone!

Natural Light Spaces

Mike hired the studio today to work with 2 models.

His coms before the shoot were excellent and he arrive bang on time.

Mike is a very friendly and laid back guy who is very easy to get on with. He comes across straight away as a genuine and open guy who was respectful to the models and the studio.

Certainly a pleasure to have in the studio and he is welcome back any time!!!

Recommended fully, a totally good guy.

Mike came up to Bucks to shoot me at the Natural Light Studio! His comms are spot on, we had the plan all sorted out with no trouble at all. On the day Mike was very friendly and we got chatting while he got familiar with the studio and formulated a plot! We shot art nude, latex fashion and something awesome with ballet boots and a tin bath. Mike's shooting style is very laid back and he is happy to experiment with angles and ideas which makes him great to shoot with and results in a positive atmosphere. It also helps that he is very talented so the results are stunning! All in all I highly recommend Mike, he is awesome to work with and I swear one of the nicest people ever! Total star, I'd gladly shoot with him again :)

Mike and I shot for the first time together yesterday and it was brilliant.

Pre communation was spot on. We discussed all the details before hand so knew exactly what we would doing. I couldn't wait for our shoot.

We shot what we had planned and also picked out a couple of bits from his bag of clothes that he brought and just went with it.

Mike is professional, creative, super easy to get on with and an absolute pleasure to work with. I really hope we get to work together in the future.

The images on the back of the camera looked great and I'm very excited to see them finished.

I would definitely work with Mike again and I would recommend him highly!!

Wooo, what a whirlwind of a shoot! Fun, flexible and very creative - we made a blank hotel room come alive. Even corners of the room became bat caves full of possibility.

Mike and myself had the best time today on our shoot. He is an absolute joy to shoot with and the time just flew by.Very professional with a clear understanding of what we were going to achieve,Love the little bag of tricks and a awesome bag of clothes and ideas.

Mike has a unique way of seeing a image,I love the angles he works with and the way he works with natural light. We worked together with natural ease and one of the most relaxed shoots I have had the pleasure of being on.

Should you work with Mike, hell yes, will I work with Mike again too damn right.

I had an absolute blast shooting with Mike yesterday, loved every minute of it!

We've been planning this one for a while, meaning plenty to time to plan and discuss ideas as well as get a feel for what we both wanted to get out of the day's shoot. In comms Mike was great, happy to discuss and work with both of our ideas.

On the day we had a brilliant shoot, Mike is easy to get on with and fun to work with and he brought along music which is always a bonus. Happy directing and efficient with sets, we got through a wide range of looks and styles over the course of a pretty relaxed day.

All in all a great day and I'm really looking forward to working with Mike again at some point.
