I had the pleasure of meeting and working with April yesterday. A lighting workshop At Myk G's studio, run by John from JD Tuition. The workshop was designed around Aprils considerable yoga skills and to say the lady is flexible is most definitely an understatement. April is a delight to work with, very professional and organised but also very creative, friendly and easy to get along with. We worked through a number different lighting set ups and several changes of outfit. A very relaxed, enjoyable and informative workshop that produced some wonderful images. I would recommend April without hesitation and look forward to working with her again in the future.

As a photographer, I've worked with April for several years, and always been pleased with the images: it seemed perfectly natural to book her for a lighting workshop.

Natural, and a great idea: the usual excellent communication, and April arrived bang on time, with the usual excellent selection of outfits, perfect makeup, and a relaxed and very capable approach.

Oh, yes. And her yoga skills and flexibility. Everyone went home happy and relaxed (and knowing a little bit more about yoga nad its benefits).

Success. Recommended.

Organised the follow up yoga shoot with April (with the added bonus of an MUA [not on PP yet]).

All went really well as April went through her whole (extensive!) repertoire of poses. As a bonus we got some excellent portrait shots which really showed April (and the MUA's work)at her best.

April is super cool to work with! As I am an inexperienced photographer, April was patient and considerate, offering many varied expressions and poses, leaving me to concentrate on the technical stuff.

Had a great 'yoga based' shoot with April yesterday. She is calm and collected but great fun to be with so this led to a relaxed and productive shoot with April guiding the way (very easily for her) as my knowledge of yoga positions is minimal at best.

I would be delighted to work with her again on this topic or any other :)

I had a fantastic shoot with April, pre-shoot communications were superb, on set she was fantastic, needing no direction and was very patient whilst I bumbled about setting the lights up. Her modelling abilities only help to enhance the pictures, I would thoroughly recommend booking April for a shoot.

Incandescent Photography

A fantastic shoot today at PoZers Studio with April. It’s wonderful to work with such a professional model that knows her light and how to make those wonderful maternity curves, curve! As with all PoZers shoots it was a fun and experimental day with various high and low key lighting set ups, April just has that uncanny ability to know what works for the image. She’s an absolute delight to work with and very much looking forward to booking another shoot with April at our new studios when she returns to modleling after the baby born. Good luck April !

I did a lovely shoot with April yesterday. April is a delightful young lady who did everything she possibly could to enable us to get some lovely images. Clearly on times she was uncomfortable being heavilly pregnant but that did not deter her at all and she put maximum effort in and didnt complain once. PoZers hosted a studio day around April’s pregnancy, based on artistic and creative pregnancy lighting and posing, and April was amazing. She arrived on Friday night, to stay at my home, so she wouldn’t have the long drive in the Saturday morning, for her 8 hour booking with my photographers. April’s pre-shoot communication was fabulous, she arrived with a wide range of clothing that complimented her and her beautiful bump. April was amazing throughout the day, I really don’t know how she managed to keep looking so beautiful all day long, keeping all the photographers happy with her poses and her delightful company. April ensured everyone got the shots they wanted in every set, and worked really hard to please everyone. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect model for our theme, and at 8 months pregnant, she was absolutely phenomenal throughout, most models would flounder without being pregnant, so April is truly amazing. I can’t recommend April enough to any photographer, mua, stylist, studio, etc. Whether she’s pregnant or not, she’s fab to work with and I really hope she comes back to PoZers soon. Thank you so much for a wonderful day April.

April and I worked together on a yoga shoot at a fitness studio. April is all of the things you would expect from her profile, beautiful, skilled, organised and easy going but professional. She is also very creative, very hard working and has great taste in music! Her input into the shoot made a real difference to the images I took and I learned a lot from working with her. I can thoroughly recommend April and am really looking forward to working with her again on future projects.

Usual relaxed shoot, usual lovely results.

It's one thing to be professional - April is, always - but it's an order of excellence higher to be professional and such fun to work with.

Second shoot in the second maternity series...

Nothing new to say: April remains a wonderful model, and I've returned home with an awful lot of good images for a two-hour shoot.

Which is normal for April. Which is why I keep on shooting with her.

April is elegant, fun and committed. She is punctual, communicated clearly pre shoot. Show thought and flexiibility during the shoot. Was fun an engaging to work with and has one of the most engaging personalities that I ve met in along time. A star :) !

Had a shoot with April and it was great April was patent as I tried to get the lighting sorted out . The weather was drab but the mood in the studio was light hearted and creative. I would strongly recommend April she was fantastic thank you for a great day.

One of the most rewarding projects I've been involved in over the last couple of years was a series of monthly shoots with April when she was pregnant with her first child. (Followed by a post partum shoot, and a year-on set.)

We have just started a similar series for her second pregnancy: lovely images, so easily. I know this is partly the result of a great working relationship built over several years: but it's largely because April is such a beautiful and naturally-elegant, poised model.
