I had my first shoot with Darren last week and things couldn’t have gone better!

We arranged to meet at the station - no timing difficulties Darren was on time and waiting!

And from there things couldn’t have gone smoother. We agreed on an urban shoot as I noticed Darren had experience with shooting locations with graffiti and was keen to add this to my portfolio.

He had no problem with that and the communication beforehand was excellent with us both sending outfit ideas, location ideas. He couldn’t have been more professional and approachable.

During the shoot I felt so relaxed he said I could do whatever poses I wanted - never made me do anything I didn’t want to.

We both worked super hard to get the shots we wanted with me climbing up a climbing frame and Darren lying on the floor at points despite the cold weather!!

I now have an amazing selection of images which is all down to excellent communication and a great working relationship!

We are already planning our next shoot and I am so excited!

Had a lovely shoot with Darren. He picked me up from the station and drove me and my fiance to a very nice location, that was agreed beforehand. The shoot took us a few hours,Darren was very professional and showed me every image every (approx) 5-10 minutes to make sure I knew what we had so far. We managed to get some couple shots as well,I have to say they look fabulous. Darren indeed did a great job. Will be happy to work with him again!

My first shoot with Darren was just yesterday, he made me feel so comfortable from start to finish, even though the weather wasn't the best he worked around that and was able to work so well with what we had. Being new to the modelling world and where I have only done studio shoots to just begin my portfolio, shooting outside with the public, cold and rain was a bit different to what I was use to but Darren was so good at giving me the confidence to ignore what was going on around us and just concentrate on what we was doing.

We got on that well due to me having a cancellation today, the weather being better than it was yesterday and Darren being free we decided to meet again today and try something different that we both wanted to do which is the good old Urban shoot! I so wanted to get this right for the both of us that I spent a lot of time the night before looking through looks and changing my original outfit and sending these to Darren and straight away he replies saying that look can work. Darren definitely has an eye for putting locations, style, props, clothing and photography all together and creating something that looks great!!

Darren has sooooo much patience and is great with his guidance. I can not wait to shoot with him again as we have so many ideas that we both would love to cover already.

I would highly recommend working with Darren. Thank you for such an amazing weekend of shoots :) I can not wait to see the finishing photos.

I only shot with Darren last week however having shared some idea through the week we book an hour into our busy diary’s! Having met Darren the week before and seeing the images produced I wanted him to shot my dress! He is so easy to work with and it’s so relaxed, Darren really makes me feel at ease and he knows his stuff and he like to experiment with angles which I love! I’m so pleased to of met Darren, we have created some awesome work and some of my favourite images taken yet in my modeling career.

Can’t wait to shoot agai!! I’m sure it won’t be long ☺️

HIGHLY RECOMMEND working with Darren you can only gain by doing so!

Yesterday was the first time I had met Darren and definitely won’t be the last! Darren is such a diamond to work with, he is very professional and really easy to get along with! Felt like I known him for years which made the 4 hours go so quick! Darren has also picked a great location for this shoot witch went so well with my ball gown dress! I highly recommend Darren and I’m so so pleased with the results so far! I can’t wait to see the rest!

Word of the day - AWESOME. Darren is a wonderful person and photographer. Every picture he showed me of our 4 hour shoot I simply stated 'Awesome'. I can't wait to see our work from today, and can't wait to work with him again in the future because I know we will! I had a fantastic shoot with Darren today.He's such a lovely person with an incredible talent for catching perfect shots. I am so pleased with this photoshoot because I don't think there's one single bad photo taken.

Had my second shoot today with Darren and it was great fun! Darren turned up early and we began shooting shortly after arrival to make the most of our time.

Pre comms were excellent throughout and despite the challenges of some very wet and windy weather, provided me with great clear direction. Darren remained professional throughout and respected my personal space throughout.

Darrens confidence as a photographer has grown so much since our last shoot and this was reflected in the fantastic shots we walked away with.

I am really looking forward to working with Darren again! Thank you again Darren!

Today was my first and hopefully not my last shoot with Planet Flux (Darren).

He got in contact a good few months ago regarding a shoot, for which we finally made a date. The pre-comms throughout were excellent, he knew what he wanted to go for and the perfect location that would allow for some interesting background in shots whilst not being too public.

Darren certainly sells himself a little short, understandably so being a new photographer. But he does so rather drastically and unnecessarily. He was wonderful to work with, had a great eye for detail and composition and wasn't afraid to direct me.

He produced some wonderful images and he walked away from the shoot happy so I only hope that he will continue to grow in confidence the more he works. I would absolutely recommend him, he provides good chats, a very laidback and comfortable atmosphere, and surpasses professional! Thanks Darren!

Had the pleasure of working with Darren for the first time today.

Darren arrived early and made every effort to ensure I was comfortable and confident throughout. This included providing me with packets of sweets and a drinks throughout the day to keep my energy up.

Darren was very respectful towards me and would always check with me if it was ok to come into my personal space to e.g move some hair or alter an arm position.

Very patient and gave fantastic direction which enabled me to learn a lot and feel confident in my middling. Darren also made great effort in showing me images throughout the shoot on his camera so I could get a more confident understanding and ask questions throughout.

Pre comms were fantastic! I was able to get a great idea of what was to be expected on the shoot and what I would be doing. Darren set up a Pinterest board so i could viaualise the style and was very open to my ideas and suggestion towards the shoot theme

Overall Darren was very thoughtful and professional and I would defiantly recommend and work with again.

This was my third shoot with Darren, and as always good fun with fantastic images produced!

I had done two location shoots with Darren previously which I loved doing so was delighted to return for our first studio shoot together.

Darren arrived I think at least an hour before me to set up his studio in a location close to where we both live. He was ready to go when I arrived, and had some good clear ideas in his head and on his iPad on what he wanted to shoot. He sent these to me beforehand so I had an idea on what to take with me and what style shoots we were aiming to do.

This all being quite new to Darren he was a bit (unnecessarily - as he is more skilled than he knows) nervous but this didn't stop him from taking some brilliant shots of which we are both pleased with. Darren brought a whole load of outfits with him which, unfortunately we didn't have time to shoot as I had other arrangements for the evening - positive though he now has the excitement of finding a lovely new models to shoot all these great ideas with!

I am going abroad for some time but I will be sure to shoot again with Darren when I am back and recommend him so all the models out there! Lovely guy, so kind hearted, and so passionate about his photography!

Another fantastic shoot with the warm, friendly and fun Darren - a highly recommended photographer!

This time we headed to London for a location shoot. Darren collected me from my house (as arranged) promptly to get the first train up to London as I had to back around midday. With my expenses paid we got the train to Liverpool street to start out shoot.

Darren was very organised and had planned a route through Shoreditch and Brick Lane area, which worked perfectly for the three hour shoot we did. He had also printed off an 'ideas' book of images he liked that he'd seen online so we could try and replicate some of the styles and make them our own. This was very helpful so I could get a visual image of what Darren's ideas were and the style we were going for.

Darren was very relaxed, good fun and made me feel totally at ease all day. We had so many laughs and I really did have a great day out in London with him!

Again, being very organised which was great, Darren brought a Dell mini laptop with him so we could transfer the images onto a bigger screen and select the ones we both liked on the way home. We didn't quite get through them all but we both had the same or very similar ones we liked so I was happy for Darren to select his favourite out of the final third we didn't have time for. I received a fully edited, high quality, fantastic image by the next morning and another by the same evening!

Darren is so passionate about photography and you can see it light up in his eyes when he is talking about it and shooting! He says he's a beginner with little experience but he definitely reached the point already where he cant say this anymore. His images are fantastic and he has a real natural eye for photography. His friendly and personable nature makes me feel so at ease with him, like I've known him for years. I would highly recommend shooting with Darren, I certainly will be again!

What a great first shoot with Darren! Very personal, professional and made me feel at ease.

As we live very close Darren picked me up and we drove to our location shoot together. Immediately Darren was very friendly, just like we had met before. Communication was very good beforehand so we had a background and got chatting straight away.

We parked up in the park and walked chatting all the way to find our first location. Darren is very new to this (as am I) and told me he was nervous at the start as it was his first shoot with someone other that Emily, his first mode whom he knew well. But he seemed to relax very quickly and get into the swing of things straight away.

We really did take some great shots together and were both very happy with the products. The shoot was in the evening and Darren got me my first image by the following morning and is currently working on more (not even 24 hours after our shoot yet).

I would highly recommend Darren, although new and training for his photography course he really didn't come across like it. He appeared he knew what he was doing from the start, he worked with the light coming through the trees well and made me feel very comfortable. Thank you Darren, I look forward to our future shoots.

I met Darren through work and I am a friend/colleague of his wife.

Darren approached me at work asking if i would help him with a photography project as he needed a model but wasn't confident enough to ask a complete stranger just yet!

Our first shoot together was fantastic. We planned to do a sportswear shoot as part of his photography project so I suggested an athletics track where I spend most of my evenings training, this was great as i felt comfortable and at home in this location.

Pre-comms were great and we spoke through a few ideas regarding clothing, equipment and location. Being a novice i was quite unsure about what to expect or how i would be in front of the camera but Darren arrived early and he took a few natural light shots in the morning which put us both at ease.

We walked the venue to see the best place for lighting etc. and got chatting about the day and ideas we both had. With shooting/modelling being new to both of us, we kind of just went with the flow and this helped us both feel more relaxed behind/in front of the camera.

We got some amazing pics from this shoot that we were both really happy with and the shoot ignited a deeper interest and passion for both of us. Darren was so great to work with.

We planned to do a studio shoot next.
