Had my first shoot with Darren last week - and well what can I say? Darren is one of the nicest and friendliest people I’ve ever met. I was immediately at ease and I believe we’ve created some really great work together.

Darren is very passionate about his work and this comes across through his communication before the shoot, during and after. I’ve already received some of my images and they are amazing!

We discussed before we shot exactly what we wanted from the day, and I knew what to bring beforehand. Darren has a huge collection of clothing as well!

I very much look forward to working with Darren again and would highly recommend!

This was my second shoot with Darren and it was just as amazing as the first! I felt so lucky to be able to shoot with him again after leaving my first shoot not knowing when the next opportunity would be - I was so happy that this date worked for us both!

Darren was great at communicating before the shoot, sending shoot plans and what I was required to bring. Darren was willing to adjust the shoot plan to incorporate my want for more fashion based photography, we were able to plan outfits and ideas for imagery that suited both of our shoot aims.

Once I arrived at the shoot, Darren and I spent the first hour or so catching up and going through some of the moodboards he had printed. It was handy to have these as a guide to refer to throughout the shoot, and not just being shown guidance pictures at the start of the shoot (which I often forget!).

The shoot got underway and we were able to capture a diverse range of styles and creative ideas. We spent time in the studio and out on location, a local wooded area close to Darren's home. Having worked together before, we were able to let the shoot take it own path, with flexibility around plans and timings we were able to adjust the shoot as we went. Ultimately, this allowed us to capture varied images and content that would normally be planned over several seperate shoots!

I left this shoot beaming, just as much (or maybe even more) as the first. It has been a pleasure getting to know and model for Darren. He is a lovely photographer and has one of the nicest personalities. He is very talented at what he does, even if he does question himself at times. I feel very privaleged to have worked with Darren and hope that we can continue to shoot together moving forward - highly recommended.

I can honestly say it was the biggest privilege to meet Darren and shoot with him. I loved his work that I saw on Instagram and on PP and I just had to add him to my “would like to work with list” and it’s safe to say I was very happy when he messaged me about a shoot together!

From the get go our communication was great. He’s so passionate about his work and it really does show in his images. I felt a bond with Darren after the first few messages. He’s such a kind and comfortable soul and also so so patient. It was a while from our first conversation until we managed to plan a day to shoot just because our schedules were clashing so much, mainly because of it coming to the end of my degree but he understood every time, never gave up on me and would often remind me how excited he was to shoot with me which definitely made me feel appreciated and like I wanted to turn up and be the best model I could for him because of the effort he had been making!

Darren put me at ease as soon as I walked in the door, we sat and had a chat first a very long chat infact haha! Just about general stuff and i must say from them the shoot just flowed, a 6 hour shoot flew by, often I find photoshoots can start to drag especially such a long one but this was a completely different vibe, I was relaxed and having fun and we were both just so happy and excited with the ideas we were coming up with and the images that we were creating. Darren shows his images every couple of shots to his models so that we are aware of how we are looking etc and this isn’t actually that common with many photographers and I loved him for it! It really helped guide me in what I liked and disliked with poses, faces etc and I think this is partly the reason we had so many successful photos at the end of it.

Darren has more clothes for models than I think he does for himself😂 I brought a bag full of stuff but it’s safe to say I won’t be needing one when I shoot with him again, he has everything you could possibly need from clothes to nipple covers to accessories to fresh underwear (that you take home with you after) I mean he has EVERYTHING and it’s so amazing to just be around someone who’s so thoughtful in that sense, so prepared and aware of what he wants before you get there so you can just get started!

I tried so many things that I had never tried before on this shoot, In previous conversation Darren and I were discussing on how to hold the camera with just the eyes and we really wanted to focus on doing that during our shoot, I am an actor also and we wanted to experiment with different emotions on camera and it’s an understatement to say I was over the moon with the outcome of this! He put a certain genre of music on and asked me to feel the music and move freely, posing to reflect on how I was feeling and boy did it work!!!!

Darren’s work is stunning and I’ve never felt more confident after a shoot before, I felt amazing and important from start to finish. Darren’s already helped me become a better model and I just know he’s going to continue to help me thrive!

Honestly the most genuine, nicest guy. So caring and considerate and a pleasure to be around and to have met. I can’t wait for my next shoot with him, we are already planning what we are going to do next!!

If you’re considering a shoot with Darren, absolutely do it. It’ll be the best choice you’ve made :)

This was my first shoot with Darren and I loved every minute of it!

I approached this shoot with high expectations. Having followed Darren for a while, I fell in love with the the images he was creating and I was excited about being able to showcase some images of my own - It is fair to say that Darren did not disappoint! Darren has an incredible talent at being able to capture the essence of the model so perfectly and for me personally in a way that no other photographer has. I even got emotional during the shoot when I saw some of the 'behind the camera' shots he took.

Darren has a lovely personality and a great sense of humour. We had a fantastic shoot full of great conversation, fabulous outfits and lots of laughs. Darren was professional throughout, he made me feel at ease and respected my levels, he ensured the shoot captured the styles I wanted, alongside those he wanted to capture - the balance was perfect.

I would recommend Darren to both new and experienced models, he is able to direct shoots and also lets models explore poses for themselves. I would love to be able to work with Darren again in the future, the quality of his images speak for themselves. Models, if you are considering working with Darren don't hesitate, you will not be disappointed!

I only had the chance to work with Darren once and what a good time I had!

It was a duo shoot with another lovely model and quite the risqué and edgy theme.

Time flew by and we all just worked nicely together - it honestly felt like we already knew each other!

We all actively cooperated to achieve the best looks and poses effectively.

The quality of the photos is absolutely outstanding and the edits one of the best I’ve seen. The artistry and accuracy of the aesthetics really impressive!

I absolutely loved every second of it and every pic! I hope that we’ll get to work together in the future and if you haven’t yet worked with Darren… hurry up! 😃

Working with Darren was a dream come true. Sounds cheesy but very honest haha! Amazing shoot with Darren! Very polite, efficient, knows what is he doing. I haven’t seen the edited pictures yet but still of what I have seen on the camera I am extremely happy with what we got! It was a really quick shoot (as I had to run somewhere else) but we still managed to create beautiful images, tasteful and professional. I’ll definitely recommend Darren.

WOW WOW WOW. Sometimes you meet other creatives and you just click... This was one of those times.

I had admired his work for a while and was over the moon when we arranged a shoot together.

From conversations before I thought we would get on well, and we did! From the minute I got there I felt welcomed and relaxed. He is an extremely respectful person and makes sure you are happy and comfortable throughout. For someone who doesn't drink hot drinks he is also very good at making them!!

During the shoot I got to look through the BOC images and they were incredible. We both flowed and it felt so natural that you'd have thought we had met before.

I am genuinely so happy and still on a high from this shoot. The images are beautiful and the edits so far even more so.

If you get the chance to work with this amazing human and very talented individual you'd be a fool not to take it.

Of course he comes with my highest recommendation! I hope to work together again.

My fourth shoot with Darren and what can I say that I haven't already!

I always look forward to our shoots, they are so much fun and I just know the results will be amazing!

We always have a chat before we start. I had been having some slight mental health issues and Darren was really understanding, respectful and was more than happy with changing the plans to accommodate.

He is a professional, respectful and very talented photographer that I feel really privileged to have worked with on multiple occasions.

If you want a relaxed, professional shoot with guaranteed beautiful images then Darren is your man! (His portfolio speaks for itsel!)

Wow, what an absolutely amazing shoot I had with Darren. I honestly could not recommend him enough, I’m still smiling to this day!

As soon as Apollo Flux contacted me I could already feel a vibe that this shoot would go well and we would have lots of fun, and I was not wrong at all!

We discussed a lot before the shoot, Darren created and sent over mood boards so I could completely understand the different styles we would do in the shoot. He also listened to what I would like to do so it was a great collaboration overall. (These discussions made me even more excited for the shoot).

Darren was so kind and collected me from the station and we spent a good hour or so chatting and laughing. He also provided snacks and drinks to have in our little break as we planned to do a long shoot, which was so thoughtful. Such a lovely photographer who always made sure I felt comfortable and was checking if I ever needed anything, was honestly such an enjoyable experience.

As soon as we started shooting the first set and I looked back at some of the photos we had just taken, I was already over the moon and pleased with them. So straight off I was excited for the outcome. Darren also helped me a lot when I started to get stuck with poses, he directed me so calmly and helped me get the best possible angles. The shoot ran so smoothly, and I was comfortable at all times which is extremely important for models to get the best shots.

I am still smiling to this day as I am so pleased with this whole day and how amazing Darren is as a person and a photographer. I have already received a large amount of my pictures back and it makes my day when I receive the new shots through as Darren is so brilliant. Such high quality work and outstanding shots that have also helped me build my confidence within myself.

So if you haven’t shot with Darren… DO IT!!!

You will not be disappointed!!

I am so glad mine and Darren’s paths have crossed, we already have another shoot booked in which I’m already counting down the days for. Hopefully there will be plenty more in the future :)

Darren was just fabulous! He is so warm and friendly and we had a great chat beforehand to get the ideas flowing! He really helped me push the boundaries of the normal pinup modelling I usually do and we ended up with just fantastic shots all round! One set has even been published! Finally! I got to shoot with the amazing Apollo Flux.

Such a warm welcome and a fab pre comms made for a great shoot, immediately felt at ease (the warm cuppa served soon as I got in the door was a winner!) A good chat and wardrobe plan and we were on our way.

4 sets, many lighting set ups and a good chat as we went.

I would not hesitate to recommend. He is very much an ambassador for model safety, clear communication and professional styled shooting with a great way of showing proofs and edits which were turned around pretty quickly.

What can I say - Another amazing shoot!

Darren is an amazing photographer and you can really feel his passion for creating beautiful images - which he does!

He is very respectful and discusses ideas and levels before shooting. He gives great direction (whilst still making you feel comfortable).

I always leave with a massive smile on my face and he has created some of my favourite photos EVER.

I had just started modelling when I shot with Apollo flux and wow did I hit the jackpot!

He made me feel to comfortable throughout the whole process, through messages, suggesting i contact other models he has shot with ahead of the shoot, a long friendly chat before we starting shooting and of course during the shoot.

His energy and vibe was just amazing and made me at ease and enjoy the shoot so much, we were both buzzing by the end.

And of course he captured some amazing images. It was so hard choosing favourites as they are all amazing.

Where do I begin?! AF is one of my favourite togs to shoot with! He’s so professional, open to ideas as well as giving good guidance for those less experienced.

We’ve shot twice and I’ll love to shoot even more!

Makes everyone feel comfortable and safe; it’s always a worry these days as we hear horror stories of many photographers. Not Apollo though! He goes out of his way to make sure models are confident he is trustworthy!

Not to mention his edits are fab. They’re beautifully done and not too harsh or over edited. He just enhances features in such a subtle yet effective manner.

I highly recommend him to everyone and anyone!!

He is an amazing photographer and an amazing person who immediately makes you feel relaxed infront of the camera and gives useful direction.

This was my first shoot with Darren.

At this time I'd only done a few shots so was feeling a little nervous - this was all for nothing as within minutes Darren had made me feel right at home.

Before shooting I think we spoke for an hour and it was like having a catch up with an old friend! Darren is very welcoming and I felt relaxed straight away. He is a very talented photographer with a great home set up and knows exactly how to arrange lighting for the most flattering beautiful images. He gives great direction whilst making you feel relaxed and gave my loads of tips that I stilp use in shoots!

Would highly highly recommend!
