Tryst

Alex booked me for a casting call on my first tour in over six months. We worked in a wonderful fully equipped studio, and he manoeuvred it with a confidence I rarely see but always admire. There is a very big difference between photographers who cut technical corners, and those who take the time to execute every idea perfectly. I was happy to be his model as he has a very high standard for his work. He was also kind and forgiving towards me as I was a bit awkward from not working much recently. I can’t wait to see the final images as they come out, and hope to work with him again. Strongly recommended!

Today I had a great first shoot with Alex at my studio day at Splashpoint. I enjoyed working with him and his ideas for the shoot seemed to me amazing. The images behind the camera looked fantastic!

Alex Is very polite respectful and fun to work with, Alex also is very chilled out, there is absolutely no pressure to perform, Alex just lets you do your thing, in poses Alex gives you some direction but he’s not at all bossy he’s very kind and easy to work with.

Alex is extremely talented with lighting and he took the opportunity during the shoot to try a lot of different ideas, putting a lot of effort into the shoot.

Alex is highly motivated to get the best out of the lighting and how he lights his models is excellent, this dedication is shown in his work he’s very strategic with everything he does during a shoot, but he works quickly but you are still able to have a laugh with him.

I will be shooting with Alex again I would recommend him not only for his professionalism but also for his kindness and amazing talent he works very hard during the shoot so I would defiantly recommend working with him he's very fun to work with but highly motived and focused.

Splash Point Photo Studio

Alex is a regular here at Splash Point, to the point I have to put up with him even if he's not shooting here any time soon. Luckily, he's easy to put up with and often helps out with things like voice-overs for videos on social media and our feature on the Purpleport blog.

Splash Point Photo Studio

Alex has been to a couple of studio day's here at Splash Point. While mostly a landscape and wildlife photog, he likes exploring light and ideas with determination to realise said ideas with an attention to detail which can also be seen in product type work.

Been super local we've since been for drinks and hung out on a few occasions, including a wee photography trip to Talacre.
