To say I loved working with Alan is not to say anything! What a positive and inspiring Photographer. The images are simply amazing, very beautiful shoot relaxed, easy, and professional and modelling was fun (lots of it). It was my first shoot with Alan and I will definitely do it again because it is such a pleasure to work with Pros that know what they do, know the posing, the lighting, direct you during the shoot and make you feel comfortable and enthusiastic about the project. Alan is a very friendly photographer that provides a very wonderful experience indeed. Do work with Alan if you have not done it yet :)

Had a great first shoot with Alan

Alen picked me up from the station and then we heading to his home studio to shoot

We had planned a rock chick themed shoot with a guitar which was a fantastic theme all though we swayed away from the original idea and shot lots of art nudes with different lighting

Alan is a great photographer and produces beautiful photos , we already have our second shoot booked and j can't wait !

Absolutely loved my shoot with Alan. Pre- communications were very polite, and very straight forward with directions to his house.

It was my first time working with him, so it was a mostly “get to know” session. I loved his patience and passion for what he does, and some of the best matters I have ever come across.

He gave me some great advice on what works best for me as a model - ie - shooting portraits with face straight on to camera, having a quiet confidence, and not trying too hard with facial expressions.

His style in shooting with gels and art nude is absolutely fantastic. I didn’t mind that we went off the original plan from time to time - because it meant that I was learning, and he kept on producing the goods!

Thank you Alan for also sending me the images very quickly. Look forward to working with you again next year!

Had the great pleasure of a third shoot with Alan, in his wonderful home studio. He'd known, from pre-shoot communications, that I was going through a rough time, and he suggested ideas for an "allegorical series" based on some of my comments and experiences. I relished the opportunity to work on images which tell a story, and have meaning and depth, and I found the whole shoot- as well as the experience of talking with Alan, and his truly lovely wife (who again kindly took me out to dinner) therapeutic and educative. Alan is highly knowledgeable and perceptive, both in photography and in life, and I appreciate his attempt to get me to be more assertive in my modelling. The anti-bullying theme he devised for the shoot is one which is important and highly relevant, in society as well as in the modelling world.

We've been discussing ideas for other subsequent shoots, which also touch upon the anti-bullying theme and also anti- discrimination, which I hope will come into fruition. It is always a pleasure to work with Alan, and I am grateful to him for all his advice- both about modelling and photography, which he knows I am interested in. Highly Recommended, and Thank You, again, Alan.

Once again had the pleasure of working alongside Alan in his amazing home studio for the third time! Always have such an amazing experience working with him in his amazing studio and home! He was as patient as always and allowed me to work to my own time frame. Always polite and brings the most creative ideas to the photo shoot.

Shooting with Alan has been such an amazing experience: superb organization, stunning studio and location, original ideas; he is such a creative person, I could crearly see his passion for photography all the time. Today was my first time shooting with Alan. He had great pre-shoot communication and lots of ideas. Alan is very passionate about photography and enjoys taking his time to capture his ideas. He is very friendly, easy to work with and also an interesting conversationalist.

We ended up going hours over our original scheduled time as he kept coming up with fantastic ideas we couldn't not do. I had an absolute ball and am already looking forward to working with him again.

I would definitely highly recommend Alan.

I was most fortunate to have a lovely second shoot yesterday with arh. Pre- shoot communications were clear and concise as always- he had a definite shoot plan, and we even adhered to it on the day- for the most part :)- with one or two minor diversions/deviations along the way. We spent the day happily shooting in his beautiful house, catered to by his very kind wife, and also perusing some of his excellent collection of photography books. In the evening, he generously invited me to a delicious dinner out with his wife, and they were delightful company. It is a privilege to shoot with arh, as previous references have stated, and also a great pleasure. I find it is an educative experience as well - I learn more about photography- and I am very happy with the photo results.

I was privileged to shoot with Alan yesterday (for the second time) and we achieved some truly beautiful shots. He again made me feel comfortable immediately and is always incredibly respectful. His work speaks for itself but it is truly an art and his attention to detail pays off. It is a pleasure to work with Alan and an education all wrapped into one. Until next time!

Had my third fantastic shoot with the photographic master Alan at the weekend. I always feel privileged and appreciative when he agrees to shoot with me. He's always open to ideas, even if outside what he usually does, and brings a fantastic eye and direction that produces results I love. Alan rocks - that's all!

Had my 2nd shoot with Alan on 26-01-17.Doing film noire and we also took an oppertunety for more art nude 1920 style and he again caught images that showing who i am.Look forward to what we do nxt time.

I had a great day working with Alan at his amazing home studio. Alan is fun to work with, professional and a talented photographer. He had pre planned the shoot very well and had a clear idea in his mind that he wanted to capture. The eight hours flew by! Had an amazing whole day shoot with Alan today .He was a real gentleman great manners and very welcoming and polite.His wife kindly made some sandwiches and drinks for lunch .Loved the shoot.Alan is a proffesional talented photographer and has produced lots of amazing images of me.Great team between us ,team work.I know nxt time will even be better as ive learnt alot from this shoot. Ive come out of my comfort zone and seen that i do have a fantastic figure with a great photogenic look and great eyes .Im looking forward to seeing images . Had an amazing time working with Alan for the first time yesterday in his amazing studio/home. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, made me feel extremely welcome and knew exactly what he wanted out of yesterday's shoot with Irena.

Also provided delicious food (made by his wife who was just as warm and welcoming!), and made sure everyone was happy throughout the day.

Alan also allowed me to stay and watch the shoot with Irena which gave me more of an insight into what really goes on behind the scenes and how things work.

Overall had a fantastic day and would be more than happy to work with Alan again.

I didn’t think I will make it to the 2nd shoot but we did it yesterday- yay! Alan had loads of ideas where and how he wanted to shoot, bought an outfit and props especially for this project, had a lovely makeup artist on set who styled me beautifully and plenty of tea and food. Not sure if I would ever have enough of his creativity! :-)

I finally had a long- awaited shoot with Alan yesterday, after admiring his work on here for the past year or so. It was a truly great and enlightening experience- I can echo the previous glowing reference, given by Irena K, in all aspects of how I was treated, both as a model and as a thinking person.

Alan kindly picked me up from the station, and we spent a great day of working together productively, interspersed with interesting conversations about photography and Life, in his excellent self-made studio. I was kept nourished all day with stimulating ideas, as well as copious cups of great black coffee and a lovely lunch. We worked outside my normal comfort zone, in that Alan was interested in photographing my face (I tend to be photographed more for my ballet body/ballet skills), but Alan was always polite, and perspicacious in giving me direction, which helped in building my self esteem/confidence in working in portraiture. I was very interested in and happy with the results, especially as they were beyond what I normally do.

A great experience all around. Highly Recommended, and I hope we will work together again. :)

It was my best experience for the last 5 years of my modelling time. I was picked at the station, taken to a stunning location, photographed beautifully, fed with delicious food and treated like a princess. It didn’ t felt like a job but more of an escape to an overworld where happiness, creativity, knowledge, intelligence and positivity live. Exceptionally passionate about what he does, intelligent, talented in photography and beyond and a giving person who cares about people. Make sure to say a yes, if Alan gets in touch.
