Had a lovely first shoot with Carla. Communications with her before the shoot were really great. She is a real professional, beautiful, a lovely woman, and very easy to work with. She was happy to go along with my ideas and the whole shoot flowed easily. We both made suggestions and this gave me as a ‘newbie’ photographer, confidence to experiment and it felt very collaborative. She was so responsive and graceful in the way she moves. I definitely hope to work with her again. She is highly recommended by me

Following my session with Carla, I had a great editing session with Adrian. I got a lot out of the technicalities of Lightroom and Photoshop but equally as much from just chatting about his experience built up over many years and about how he goes about the task of editing for his work. Gave me lots to think about! He's a nice guy. Very easy to work with and we got on fine. Highly recommended by me.

This was my second shoot with Adrian and Carla as part of one of their group shoots, shooting street fashion around the Shoreditch area of London.

On the first occasion it was film camera only, which proved to be a great day. This time around Saida was the main model with Carla acting as a second model though, honestly, Carla probably did as much modelling as Saida.

These events have proven to be fun and relaxed, with great models resulting in some great images. One of the nicest aspects is that Adrian and Carla have scouted some great locations in the area, each providing a unique feeling to the 'set.'

I can only say that if you haven't tried one of these events, they are great way to get out there and, certainly in my case, perhaps do something a little different.

PinPoint

I booked a 4 hour assisted location shoot with Carla and Adrian, having worked with them earlier in the year. In short, they are a ‘dream team’ with Carla’s fabulous modelling experience and Adrian’s photographic expertise. Both are friendly, warm hearted, encouraging, patient and committed to ensuring the best outcome for the shoot and we certainly got some great images. I would recommend them without reservation to any photographer who is looking to build their experience and portfolio and I am in no doubt that I will want to work with them again. Thank you Adrian and Carla for a wonderful shoot. Look forward to ‘next time’😎

Had an amazing event of photoshoot with Poppy Haskell and Carla Monaco in Swindon organised by Adrian and Carla creative events on Sunday the 28th July.

The theme was fashion and lingerie involving creative, high key lighting and some elements of natural light photography. I always enjoy events organised by Adrian and Carla. They are fun, creative and an opportunity to learn new ideas working with experienced models and Adrian's guidance. This was my second event with Adrian and Carla and my first shoot with the gorgeous and energetic Poppy Haskell. My first event attended last year got me 3 FPIs with Carla. The setups and outfits were well planned. The energy and vibes were excellent. Both Poppy and Carla are gorgeous and excellent models to work with. Their experience in providing perfect expressions, poses, fashion outfits, energy and creative improvisations is simply amazing. The event was well paced with a lunch break in between with some tasty snacks and soft drinks on a lovely Sunday afternoon. There was no model hogging and all the photographers who attend these events are considerate and well behaved helping each other to get the best shots. Overall I love attending Adrian and Carla events as there is always new things I learn and get excellent images because of the vibes and its well organised pattern. I have got some amazing images with both Poppy and Carla waiting to be edited and published.

Highly recommended. Thank you so much Adrian and Carla for inviting me. Looking forward to attend many more events in the future. :-)

The dream team. Some beautiful styling and outfit choices by Carla as well as some duo modelling and some beautiful food prepared, even veggie for me! And snacks throughout the day.

Adrian set up some very cool, flattering and diverse lighting set ups. His images are perfection, can’t recommend them both enough - lovely lovely People and very good at what they do

Organised Chaos

I have been wanting to book a Tuition day with Carla & Adrian for way too long before I finally booked it & you know it is such a shame I left it this long as my photography would have improved so much further by now.

When you book this Creative duo you get the best value you can get as the booking I did was in Swindon in 2 parts:

Part 1 (10am to 2pm)

This was at a Church hall with ample parking right outside ,very easy to find with the church being on Google Maps. The hall is very spacious , length of over 50 feet in depth & around 30 feet in width & as I like to use my 50mm this gives me the distance I need.

Adrian & Carla set up the hall with lighting & backdrops so you get a super large space with honestly totally excellent guidance on settings , composition , everything.

Both Carla & Adrian are super invested to make your day enjoyable & informative as Carla does ask what you want to do I went with fashion & so enjoyed it as Carla is super,

I'm booking again for another studio training day as soon as I can.

Part 2 Woodland

Fashion this was so excellent for my learning ramp.

I always's enjoy working with Adrian and Carla, they are a great team, very well organised and creative. Thee shoot always starts with a coffee which is fantastic way to get to know the photographer's you are going to bee working with.

This time it was for a walk around London fashion shoot. Carla had brought beautiful casual and 70s inspired styling to fit the locations which where all pre scouted and close to each other which made the shoot ran very smoothly and stress free.

Adrian always makes sure everyone is happy and he is always there to offer advice and help to the photographer's when needed!

Yet another fun group shoot.

Had a great day at Adrian and Carla's Manchester, walk about, fashion shoot. I've done two similar events with them in London. I just love them. Carla, as everyone knows is such a brilliant model and Adrian is a fund of knowledge , happy to share it with the participants. I always come away having learned something new. Real professionals and a superb event. Good pictures to be made and good fun as well.

I was very happy with the images that I got, with a range of different looks from the different clothing and locations we used. Their event's are well organised, beautifully styled and it's always a small group of photographer's which will give you space and time to create unique photo's for your portfolio !

Carla is a very experienced and skilled model with amazing styling skills and a 6th sense of what looks good front of the camera and Adrian has to be one of the best photographer's to work with and learn from ! Very good at offering direction and help to photographer's which is ideal for both experienced and starting out photographers!

I have attended two events organised by Carla and Adrian and shot 1-2-1 with Carla (with Adrian there to drop in the odd piece of advice). You couldn't meet a nicer couple and their creative talents are unsurpassed.

They are both chatty, friendly and most of all patient with everyone they work with. I am more than happy to recommend any event they organise. Best of luck with this new old venture, and I look forward to attending another event in my area soon.

I've shot with Adrian and Carla on several occasions. They run some of the very best events around. Carla is a top class model, beautiful, poses effortlessly and naturally, and styles herself very well. Adrian is a very friendly and knowledgable photographer who offers support without pushing it, and can quickly setup a range of lighting to complement the styling. The events tend to be very limited numbers so each photographer gets a good amount of 121 time and no shooting over the shoulder. Adrian will move you along if he feels others are kept waiting too long so everyone gets their fair time. Pricing is very reasonable too. Highly recommended!

I have attended their Fashion Walkabout in London, shot at their local studio they use and also remotely to their home studio. I have enjoyed the privilege of working with Carla and Adrian on lots of different occasions both on location and in the studio for many years. They are a friendly and experienced couple with a great sense of humour and the ability to achieve amazing images with them is always guaranteed! Carla is a beautiful world class model able to pose effortlessly and creatively in many different styles and genre ranging from themed events including a Brigitte Bardot look, film noir and fashion walkabouts. Her wardrobe is extensive always styled to the event.

Adrian' technical expertise with camera settings, lighting and the use of backdrops enables fabulous images to be obtained. Events are generally limited to just 4 photographers so there is plenty of opportunity to be creative!

Carla and Adrian come highly recommended I know that I shall be booking more shoots with this fantasic duo in the future.

I had the pleasure of doing my third street fashion walkabout with Carla & Adrian today, this time in Bristol rather than London. Needless to say it was only the location that changed; everything else was up to their usual high standards: A very relaxed atmosphere with a couple of coffee breaks but still plenty of time for each of the four photographers to get the shots they wanted in each location that we stopped at. We were spoiled with choices for locations: I assisted with a recce earlier in the week to help find likely locations for shooting, and in the end we didn't get round even half of them (and there were others we could have looked at earlier in the week too...!), which all means there is plenty more mileage in future shoots around Bristol ;-) That's great news for anyone living in the area because these shoots are fab! Carla's reputation is deservedly second to none, and it's cool to have Adrian around too - to provide assistance if required, or just to provide inspiration from the amazing shots that he effortlessly sneaks in while the rest of us try to do our best! Plus they're a lovely couple to hang out with, and if my experiences to date are anything to go by, you'll probably get to meet some other nice folks too - maybe other PurplePorters whose work you've long admired but have never actually met, or others that you're glad to make the acquaintance of. So it's 10/10 from me, and I'll be looking forward to more of these shoots in the future :-)

I joined Adrian and Carla on their recent Bristol Fashion Walkabout which I enjoyed immensely. I've worked with them on several occasions before so it was no surprise that communications, planning and preparation were all great. The 5-hours we spent shooting around Bristol flew by with the whole group of photographers working in a relaxed and fun way throughout. This is an atmosphere that I don't think just happens but is a result of Carla's and Adrian's personalities, skills and experience on both sides of the camera.

They are adept at making group shoots enjoyable for all helping everyone get the best shots possible, always with encouragement and tips - and help and advice if requested.

I look forward to seeing what events this creative duo come up with in future so I can work with them again. I highly recommend anyone else does, too.

I have worked with Adrian and Carla quite a few times now and this time in the fabulous Bristol city was as good as the first.

Such a brilliant team to work with Adrian well you only have to look at his work. A true gentleman and so easy to get along with. Calm and professional and he knows what he talking about. Carla has to be the sweetest thing to ever come out of England and her posing is just as stunning really incredible to watch and photograph. Adrian and Carla had all ready done the hard work for everyone scouting out some amazing locations so it went so smoothly and stress free.everyone got so many great images and to be honest just a brilliant day.

I have worked with Carla and Adrian many times over the last few years, first remotely from Germany to the UK and also once to Portugal during the Corona period and since last year in person on several street fashion walkabouts in London and most recently on an assisted shoot in beautiful North Wiltshire.

Carla and Adrian always manage to create a very pleasant atmosphere and you can always learn a lot from the exchange with such a creative and experienced model like Carla and an absolute top photographer like Adrian.

I learnt a lot during the shoots with both of them and even improved my English.
