A dramatically lit portrait of a classic sportsman. Most of the PR shots were colour but he gave me a few minutes at the end to light and shoot some freestyle B&Ws.
Although I started in the days of B&W film photography, I find it difficult to get it right digitally... but I like the challenge!
Technicals:
2 light set up. One brolly box camera right, one honeycomb gridded head from rear, camera left.
The difficulty was that the suit was brilliant white and the sportsman was quite tanned. In B&W it was difficult to balance the tones.
The background was white but underlit.
