Technicals: Natural window light behind and to the RHS of the model, a studio flash bouncing off 8x4 reflector LHS. Shot at the equivalent of 50mm, 30th at F7.1, ISO 200 to mix flash with ambient light.
In editing I wanted to go for a glamorous, glossy magazine look, so boosted the highlights, did some dodge and burn, upped the contrast and reduced the vibrance to compensate the colour shift/saturation. In editing some blue was added to the shadows to separate the closeness in tone between the model and background, so she stands out a little more.
