It is a while since I asked for a Portfolio Review (which was 'interesting'!), but my photography has moved on (or is at least different), I keep fiddling with which images are on my port, and continually tweaking my notes, so thought I ought to get some feedback. While comments and advice from my fellow photographers are always welcome, I am particularly interested in the views of Models, Stylists, MUAs, and Designers - who after all are the target audience for my portfolio.
Happy for comments (positive or negative) and constructive suggestions on notes and images, but in particular:
- Is there anything in my port that would put you off from working with me - either on a paid or TFP basis. Any important information missing that you would need in assessing whether I was suitable for a casting if I replied.
- Are the number of images excessive (put you off, don't care, don't look beyond the first few anyway), or not ( illustrates the range and diversity of work) - and if excessive which sort of ones would you loose (Although in any cull I would want to maintain and/or improve the diversity of my portfolio)
- Is there anything I can do to improve my port (including taking better images!) that would make you more likely to work with me in the future.
Thank you in advance - be gentle (wish!)
Jon
