How many shoots did you do in 2024 and plans for next year?

None unfortunately. Hopefully more than that next year.

I had two shoots this year, though the year has not yet ended and it may be three soon. Although the number is not high I had a great time shooting those since it was exactly what I was looking for and during the right time. Next year it will likely be about the same maybe more like three to four.

27 - which surprised me as I didn't think I'd done that many.  Will be 28 as I have one more yet :)

Going to cut down next year: quality over quantity is the plan!

24 shoots this year, around 2 a month. Hopefully the same next year

Not as many as previous years, due to moving house, but now having had building work completed, I am hoping to attract models to this beautiful island

No bragging rights on my side: i’ve done two shoots this year, one planned. Time and funds limit my photography.

It looks like I’m on 19 so far in 2024, but I still have a lot of models on my “want to work with” list so I need to get round to contacting them unless they contact me first!

I also visited 15+ countries in 2024, plus multiple trips to a number of those, and I’m planning shoots in three continents in 2025.

It looks like I will be touring quite a bit with my acting. This is great and what I want to do. However it's expensive with food hotels etc so I need to find other ways of getting an income while on tour. This is where the modelling comes in as I can meet lots of new photographers in new places. Model by day actor in the evening. In many ways a great combination. The only problem is with a car full of theatre kit there's little room for outfits so these are limited. I am known for turning up with half a wardrobe, but when touring its limited to a couple of things, this has meant doing more concealed nude work, but there have been few complaints. I would like to do many more local shoots,but there are few phtogaphers close by and no studios. Daughter will be moving out this year so home shoots become a possibility too. So yes lets do lots more

currently did 50 shoots, and 7 shoot events 

2 as a model, 5 as a photographer of models, 10 or so over the summer up and down the river capturing various feathered friends (some not so friendly cows, too!) And 2 air shows (ooft,ears still ringing from the F16)

2 self shoots too as not much time now to create as I'm pretty much a full time at home carer now so have pretty much dropped off the face of the planet give or take 4 hours in the gym each week and once round sainsburys for milk.

If I had the time, money and scope then things would be very different for next year.hopefully can squeeze in a few creative opportunities all stars aligning!

I had 34 shoots, 10 of them indoors and 24 outdoors. Drove thousands of kilometres, flew around and chased sunsets, right tides, storms and waves. Would do again in a heart beat.

It was an amazing year and I had several milestones in my photographic journey. Thanks to everyone who was a part of it!

I have at least 8 models confirmed with dates. Most of them will shoot with me several days and some at starry nights. Lately, I get more models from Instagram than here on PP.

Zero shoots in 24 and only one in the year before that …. Can only improve really from those sort of numbers in 2025

It wasn't until I looked back through my diary, that I counted up for 2024:

36 model shoots (3 a month is about normal)

16 events (inc 2 weddings - unusual for me)

3 overseas trips that included some (my wife might say too much) measure of photography, inc the Total Eclipse in April

I've done 3 model shoots! Spent 10 times as much on kit I don't use though! :-D

Long I average about a shoot every six weeks, but I seem to have gone a bit mad of late I did 10 in the second half of 2023, 19 plus a week long trip to Croatia in 2024. So that's about three times noraml
I have a massive backlog of editing and need to put more time into that. I'm also getting some stick over the money that's going on photography - the price tag of the camera that's been tempting me means that's not going to be solved soon.
