Hi, can anyone suggest a good atmosphere spray that doesn’t leave residue everywhere and doesn’t set off smoke alarms?

Some helpful advice here? https://purpleport.com/group/general-chat/190979/Smoke---mist-in-a-spray-can/
Word to the wise on the Atmosphere Spray, it's excellent but use sparingly. It's oil based and does leave a small residue and can make floors a little slippy if overused.
Maybe I’m using it wrong, but i find it’s a light mist that dissipates quite quickly.
Thanks guys, I’ll check it out and yeh, concerned about residue. The new Smoke Ninja looks pretty neat if you’ve not seen it but not cheap.
Just be aware - Atmosphere Aerosol DOES set smoke alarms off....if you use enough.
Found out the hard way on a recent studio shoot 😄

I've been looking at these small, rechargeable smoke machines, there are several still in the Crowd Funding stage at the moment and they all seem to be based on a large, handheld Vape device with a built in fan. But they are all going to be retailing for hundreds of pounds, which I think is ridiculous considering the most expensive vapes cost a lot less than £100.
There's a distinct difference between smoke and haze, for reference. The other thing to note is that smoke from smoke machines rises, smoke from vapes sinks. I've used both in combination at times.

I've been tempted by it too. But also by the PiXAPRO/LENSGO SMOKE B and SMOKE S, which are about 60% and 40% of the price. Struggling to find a review that offers a direct comparison. The only one I've seen so far is in Russian.
I hesitate to suggest this - but exhaling vapes result in large plumes of mist shrouding the place. There has to be a flavour that could be classed as a calming atmosphere...
