Does anyone use modelfolio? I only found out about the platform through a conversation with a photographer on Facebook. Wondering if anyone has had much luck finding work on there? I have just created an account and set up my profile, one thing I can admit is I much prefer PurplePort for the layout and ease of use, also noticed there weren't many castings on there strangely.
I have a profile there, but don't use it anymore.
I got loads of shoot requests and messages when I joined and 100% of them were from people who have been removed from this site! (a simple name search revealed that, and some turned up on facebook model safety posts)
A definite no for me, as there's always a reason people get removed from here.
Holly Alexander oooh I didn’t know that! Thankyou for letting me know! I don’t think im a part of any model safety Facebook groups, if you could send me a link so I know who to be wary off please that would be helpful!
I use it. it's mostly ok, I find that most of the models I work with have profiles here as well as on there and so comms tend to be a bit fractured as we start the convo on one site and then it migrates to the other one. I agree that PP has better tools and is generally nicer to work with, but yu gotta go where the people are.
Tanzila it just came up when I googled names, if I'm not sure how anyone is or can't see references I just tend to do a name search on Google and on here :)
It's just been my personal experience of that site to be honest, maybe other people have had better luck!
I'm a member there, the user base seems quite small in comparison to PP. Not sure that it's full of people who have been removed from PP, I'm sure some just prefer it. One possible advantage for photographers is that the maximum image size is larger than PP and the galleries (recent uploads etc) give full images, not thumbnails.
anagliff I did notice that there were fewer casting calls even when I filtered to a larger distance
Are you not getting enough work on pp?If not you diversify if not than stick to one site , some models use three , four sites maybe more. Than again different models different abilities.

Wondrous I do get a decent amount of work through PP but just want to branch out and grow my network and allow opportunities through other platforms! I’ve found work through various apps/social media platforms.

I think as a non mainstream model you should do your best to make yourself a success. There are not many models similar to you on PP or other sites ,so many people may like to shoot with a model such as yourself.

Thankyou :) I do get a lot of interest, mostly due to how i look, but it seems there's more of an interest shooting higher levels, instead my fashion levels, but i know where i wish to take my modelling and i don't doubt myself or my ability at all, and i am certain i will be successful.
Modelfolio used to be called Madcow Models and has been around since about 2010, I think. It is run by the same guy who runs Adultfolio. The idea was that Modelfolio would be predominantly modelling images and the porny material would appear on Adultfolio.

Tanzila I think sitewise there are probably 3 models similar to you on PP and two of those three right now are not shooting, of course you all shoot different levels. An interesting aspect is you are all either in the Midlands or north England the other being in the west of England. I may have missed one out but just working of memory.
