I drove from Liverpool to the Isle of Skye for a paid shoot on the Quiraing at 4am, well worth the drive it's become one of my favourite places to visit.

I have jumped on a plane to do a shoot in Norway a few years back which was very last minute but totally worth it.

If I was baring the cost of the travel, shoot and model then I wouldn’t want to go far. Maybe up to 100 miles; but if I was being hired and paid, I’d go further (depending on the price).

I generally put a 60 mile radius as my limit.

I travel to France once a year. I spend four days shooting. Well worth it.

6ish hours to get to Dunstanburgh for sunrise at 3.30am.  No model included.  I have done it 3 or 4 times and still don't have the image that I want!  Oh, and c. 4,500 miles on a paid conference gig.

2/2.5 hours max - but does depend on numerous factors

100/150 miles but very dependant on temperamental car but for the right model I would probably be willing to take a gamble

I am a non-driver in the south east. The problem isn’t distance, it is travel time and practicality. Thanks so much for your sterling work, Dr Beeching.

I go to Natural Light Spaces, 2 and a bit hours.

I like it so consider it worth the effort.

That would be my limit I think.

Recently did a trip from Bedfordshire to work with Rob Segate in Swansea, via Monmouth to collect Skycladpixie, and then on to OOAK/ Lanes Photography an hour or two north of there, then back all home all in two days. TFP - worth it to work with great people like these.

I drove from Swansea, 4 1/2 hours, shot for 4 hours and 4 1/2 hours back in a day to shoot with HannahHyrule in Plymouth. It was worth every minute to work with an absolute dream of a model. Sadly, I have moved further away, I can only hope we get to shoot again.

Aberdeenshire isn't exactly the end of the world and it's no different driving up here, or over on the Isles, as in Wales, Ireland or England, for that matter anywhere in Europe. Artemis Fauna was 9 hours / 521 miles each way, Leaf was 13 hours / 550 miles each way, 320 miles with Keira Lavelle if the model's worth it why not?
