About me:

Hey there, I'm a hobbyist photographer/re-toucher who phases in-and-out of the model photography hobby; I often take long breaks from it to focus on work, or other interests.

I have an HND in Photography, from back in the film and darkroom days obtained many moons ago, and I've worked professionally in the design industry for over the last 20 years. If you work with me, you'll quickly get a sense of my passion for creativity, and I'll provide tea/coffee/juice and breaks between outfits, and I'll also chat your ears off, haha. I just want to create images that appeal to my eye, have a good natter, and take some great shots together.

I prefer to take "glamour/sensual/boudoir" shots, using both studio strobes and natural light. My real love is in the retouching process, so I don't sweat, or over complicate lighting setups too much. Honestly, I find strobe lighting to be a faff and a lot of setup/upheaval at my home "studio" environment, so if I can get away with natural lighting, I will.

Arranging a shoot:

I'll use the PurplePort calendar to book in the shoot, and I prefer to keep comms on here, but am happy to exchange phone numbers come shoot day for easier comms. If you need to cancel because "life happens", then please give me as much notice as possible, and I'll message you the day before the shoot, to confirm it's still on.

Location:

I am based a little North of Glasgow in Clackmannan (by Alloa); which is about 30 mins via train from Glasgow, or 40 mins from Edinburgh to Larbert train station, where I can collect you, then we have a 10-15 min drive to my place. I prefer to shoot in my own good sized, and well equipped home "studio" space whenever possible*. Almost all of the shots in my portfolio were taken there.

*Please note that I have a dog, I keep her out of the way during shoots; but if you're a dog person, she will be your friend, and she's been a big hit with all the models I've worked with so far!
