The gradual of reduction of quantity could be a good way to help reduce obesity.

I'm a little under 11 stone with a serious jaffa cake dependency. I can't believe jaffa cakes caused the obesity epidemic, especially with their apparent cult status amongst models. :-)

Feelings are running high.

I'm not too happy myself but so long as they keep producing them that's the main thing. I still regret the disappearance of the wonderful "hampden wafer" Which was the best waifer biscuit ever. They were even better than Tunnocks wafers - imagine how good that is!

Anyone remember them?

If we're talking long gone biscuits then... McVitie's Abbey Crunch.

(For those who only dimly remember, an analogy: the contemporary Hob Nob is the crack cocaine version of the Abbey Crunch)

And now I want Hob Nobs so badly I may actually have to go shopping. I can't take them or leave them. It's a disease.

The post Jaffa cakes has just been merged with this one because they were incredibly similar.

Apparently the Jaffa cakes are the same size, shape and price per 'biscuit', there are just 10 per pack instead of 12. They are probably just complying with an EU directive about selling in metric as opposed to imperial units! :(

Yet another - very important - justification for Brexit! ;)

ONLY justification for Brexit I've heard

Sometimes difficult to be sure it is satire.

They are a pound because there are nasty :-)

Will they reduce the size of the box?

TBH, I prefer the Polish cherry version.

It's been a few years since I used to eat all of the cake and make a tower out of the orange toppings, and then thrust them down my gob in one go!

It is almost the same as unwrapping opal fruits and squashing them flat and squishing about 6-7 of them together.  And then taking bites out of them.

Go to Aldi, theirs are much tastier (more jelly as well) and they also do raspberry flavour.
