I'm a little under 11 stone with a serious jaffa cake dependency. I can't believe jaffa cakes caused the obesity epidemic, especially with their apparent cult status amongst models. :-)

I'm not too happy myself but so long as they keep producing them that's the main thing. I still regret the disappearance of the wonderful "hampden wafer" Which was the best waifer biscuit ever. They were even better than Tunnocks wafers - imagine how good that is!

Apparently the Jaffa cakes are the same size, shape and price per 'biscuit', there are just 10 per pack instead of 12. They are probably just complying with an EU directive about selling in metric as opposed to imperial units! :(

TBH, I prefer the Polish cherry version.
It's been a few years since I used to eat all of the cake and make a tower out of the orange toppings, and then thrust them down my gob in one go!
It is almost the same as unwrapping opal fruits and squashing them flat and squishing about 6-7 of them together. And then taking bites out of them.
