And then we're back open as normal.  Don't feel the need to rely on the calendar here as to whether we're available as I may not have updated it or there may be a bookings on one day for only a couple of hours and thus we can easily fit you in before/after it.

NEVER BEEN TO SPLASH POINT BEFORE?
I've just built a new site which can be seen via www.splashpointphoto.com or .co.uk.

THE  MAIN STUDIO
includes an infinity curve, backdrop papers, neon wall, swing, MUA desk (can double up as a set) and free-floating steps.  We have Bowens strobes with loads of mods (octoboxes, beauty dish, snoots, gobos, stripboxes etc) and continuous light wands.  There's also a bunch of random prop chairs including an oil drum amongst other quirky stuff.

HOUSE
Front room with cream leather 3 piece, brown wood furniture and al church organ.  The hallway also has a classy feel, an attractive wood staircase (carpeted), loads of dark wood furniture, a red leather chesterfield, and yet another upright organ.
 

The boudoir is quite modern in comparison, but equally it's a lived in room so its also quirky depending on your angles - there light up lights in a bookcase and even a light up fish tank, as well as a neon on the headboard wall which can easily be removed too.

And this is what I mean about the boudoir being either quirky or neutral:

Various spots in the house (including the boudoir) have natural light, but you can use lighting from the studio too, or of course bring your own if you wish.  There is potential for other areas to be used too, but we can't promise they'll always be available.

POOL
It is heated and as soon as that cover comes off you're gonna get hot hot hot if you're not in the water.  The water is warmer than a public pool, but you can't go too hot or you risk breeding germs, however, the room will get toastie for us photographers, so bringing a change off tee is sometimes advised!  There's natural light, but I do have battery lights if you're careful.  There's also continuous lighting in the pool itself.  It's about 5ft deep and with no shallow end. 



OUTSIDE
If you're feeling really brave albeit insanely mild and not too wet for a Welsh winter this year, then we have a small courtyard type garden which can be used, and a spiral cast iron staircase up to a balcony.  And after your shoot you can go and sunbathe on the beach as it's literally over the road. *disclaimer* there probably wont be any sun, and the tide might be in.  I can't charge you to go on the beach, but some people choose to while they're here!

  

£20ph covers all of the above.  All of it, and you can book in and move between locations as you wish, just take that in to account when booking as you'll need to move and set up lighting in each.  I'm always on hand and will help move gear around with you to speed things up, plus I may even make you tea.  If you need something, just ask, as I typically make myself available when ever people are in. Booking the studio to have multiple sets on the go at any one time with more than one groups of models and photographers is a different prospect and will require prior discussion and will cost £25ph, you can however shoot in one location at any one time  with a second shoot or with a group of models to help spread the costs.

 No discounts for spotting dad jokes or grammatical errors in my dyslexic ways.
