Plenty of availability at the studio at the momentNSFW
Splash Point Photo Studio is looking to be paid by a photographer or a model or a make-up artist or a designer for this casting. It's based around Rhyl, UK Added 1711570913.
After a bit of chill time to catch up on some editing, I can assure you we are open!
If you're not familiar with us, here's a quick crash course:
The images above are shot at Splash Point and are a small cross section. The studio is fully equipped with both strobe and continuous lighting. Said lighting can be used in all areas listed, along side some great natural light spots. Your £20ph covers all our locations and you can move between them as you wish. We're not a massive fan of running several areas at once, aka more than one group shooting in different locations simultaneously, but if I'm convinced by your communications (and I've been doing this long enough to get a good read on pre comms) that you will have a handle on the situation and keep your party in check, then we do sometimes accept such shoots. Multi group shoots are charged at £25ph as a result of the extra hassle, however, you can have multiple photographers and models shooting in a singular location together for just the usual rate of £20ph.
I'm always about if you need anything, in fact we're technically a one man operation, so i'm pretty chill. You may bump in to some of my family, and occasionally my sisters dogs as we're a personable experience and not a commercial space to run riot in, so do please ask if you need, or don't want to second guess anything. Check the arrogance at the door, we've all apparently won awards and stuff and are wonderful, so you don't need to break stuff to prove your experience to me, it'll have the opposite effect.
No discounts for understanding the clerks references.
If you're a photographer..
..and organising your own shoot is not your thing, then we do have several studio day options coming up that look a little like this:
Are there any models you'd like to see here that you would make an effort for? Emphasis on the would as I appreciate many travel to use us so we have to be realistic for both our and the models sake as to the studio days we offer. You're always welcome to bring your own models to the studio any time you chose if we can't get them here but you can.
If you're a model..
..then you are of course welcome to hire the studio with your own team. Booking myself would of course be a different price aside from studio hire, although I am also open to collaborating from time to time if you're the right muse to any given idea, or of course inspire some.
We unfortunately can't offer studio days out to every model that wants one, sorry! We're asked all the time, but the long and short of it is that we're not in a major city and unless you have a big rep as a touring model, or just an irresistible niche, then regular old casual days just don't sell that well in the area. We try our best to get a good cross section within that remit that will appeal to different photographers and our regulars alike, and at the moment I would love to find a strong Black and/or non-oriental Asian model to add to our rotations.
Other Creatives..
..again, same with the models, you're welcome to bring your own team, be it a commercial shoot or say even a student MUA working on their portfolio etc.
We've hosted several music videos / promos, interviews for political campaigns and for Business Wales, but I would advise bringing your own lighting for video work. As mentioned, we have continuous options, but I wouldn't want to second guess a videographers set up as we're primarily a stills space.
The studio has been open for more than 14 years.
