Multiple accounts and changing account types on PurplePort

You can have more than one account on PurplePort, but there are some restrictions.
Whilst anyone can create additional accounts for each creative field they work in (e.g. photographer, model, studio, make-up artist, etc.), it's rare that we allow someone to create more than one account of the same type (e.g. two Photographer accounts, two Model accounts, etc.).
We can change your account type to something else if you want to use PurplePort for other work.
You can contact us anytime by creating a support ticket for any account-related queries.

Multiple accounts of the same account type
Creating a second account of the same account type (e.g. two Photographer accounts, two Model accounts, etc.) is rarely permitted. Please contact us directly via support ticket check with us before you create a second account of the same type.
There are certain circumstances where we allow this, including (but not limited to):
- The shoot styles on the accounts are completely different (e.g. one account for SFW shoot styles and another for NSFW/Adult shoot styles)
OR - One account is used for commercial work, and the other account for personal work
Multiple accounts of different account types
A PurplePort account can only be used for one creative field (and one person). You can create additional accounts for the other creative fields you work in (e.g. photographer, model, studio, make-up artist, etc.), and there is no need to ask us before you do so.
Below are the creative fields you can create an account for on PurplePort:
- Photographer
- Model
- Studio
- Make-up artist
- Stylist
- Hair Stylist
- Artist/painter
- Designer
- Photoshop wizard
- Tutor
Link multiple accounts
If you have multiple accounts on PurplePort, you can link them together.
Linking your accounts means you can switch between these accounts with a few clicks of a button, saving you time without needing to log out and into your different accounts. You can link many accounts together if you have multiple accounts on PurplePort.
Changing account type
There are usually two reasons for this:
- You selected the wrong account type
- You change your mind and want to use PurplePort for something else
Whether you selected the wrong account type or you want to use PurplePort for another creative field, please contact us by creating a support ticket so we can change your account type for you.
To ensure that everything is relevant to your new account type, you may need to change information on your account (e.g. portfolio notes, images, etc.), and we may need to delete the references you have acquired on that account.
If you have references that you want to keep, we may suggest that you deactivate your account (so your references are stored there) and create a new account instead.
