How do I change the name on my PurplePort account?

Here's how you can change the full name, nickname or display name on your PurplePort account. 

How to change your full name

This is the first and last name you added when you created your account (and is not visible to other members):

• Go to the purple cog (top right) and click Manage your account
• Click Personal details
• Under the heading Details, you can change your name using the First Name and Last Name boxes 
• Click Update your account 

How to change your nickname

This appears in the URL to your portfolio page and underneath your display name (with the @ symbol) on your portfolio page.

You can only change your nickname once:

• Go to the purple cog (top right) and click Manage your account
• Click Personal details
• Under the heading Details, click the option for Click here if you need to change your nickname next to the Nickname box and follow the instructions provided
• Click Update your account 

How to change your display name

This is the name that appears on your portfolio page (next to your avatar image).

You can change this as many times as you wish:

• Go to the purple cog (top right) and click Manage your account
• Click Personal details
• Under the heading Details, enter your new display name in the box next to the Display name box
• Click Update your account
