I had my first shoot with Derek at my home ,communication before the shoot was great ,and he actually managed to find my house which was an achievement within its self as his satnav was trying to send him completely the wrong way ,the shoot went very well and we got some great shots , he gave great direction and had a good eye for what would make the perfect shot would definitely recommend to anyone

Shoot flew by and did nt know where the 2hrs went

I applied to a casting call posted by Derek for his stay in my local area. His pre-shoot communication was swift, intelligent and funny, and I found him to be courteous and lovely with a great eye for shots and a veritable mine of good tips and information. He tolerated my frankly awful sense of humour gracefully and without complaint, and I feel we got some fantastic photos. Highly recommended :)

I worked with Derek for the first time on a home shoot last week.

I found Derek to be friendly and relaxed as a person, polite and respectful in his approach, full of great conversation and incredibly enthusiastic about his shots.

We had discussed prior to the shoot what we were hoping to achieve. Derek had some great ideas, was complimentary throughout and directed well. He worked hard to get the right lighting and i've been very impressed with what i've seen so far.

I hope to work with Derek again and recommend him to all models out there.

I have worked with Derek several times now, but our shoot last week was by far the best!

Thoroughly enjoyable throughout, we had a great laugh, communication as always was no problem and we got the best shots between us yet!

This was my second shoot with Derek at my home and he really is a lovely guy. So easy to get along, we have a good laugh and our time is used productively. He has lots of ideas to work towards and also happy to take on my suggestions too, so we really do have an enjoyable shoot and I'd welcome a shoot with him anytime. Highly recommended. Had a fantastic shoot with Derek, 2nd shoot now! He shot at my home. He arrived on time and with a smile!... It was certainly great to catch up with him again! :)... I always really enjoy working with Derek and the shoot was no exception!... We always get on so well and have a giggle, I always feel 100% comfortable around him!...

I think you can tell that he is a fantastic photographer and really works to the models strengths which is important!...

I would certainly recommend Derek to any model both new and experienced!

I had loads of fun being a model for Derek. As it was my first proper shoot i was very nervous but he helped be calm down and we had quite a successful shoot. Derek is great for models with any amount of experience.

Hopefully we will have another shoot :)

Couldn't resist putting up another reference for Derek, and it's about time seeing as though we have worked together a good number of times now!

I am always greeted with a friendly smile, which is followed by great communication, direction if needed and some wonderful locations (a new one every time).

Derek is never out of ideas and is an absolute pleasure to work with; he is very reliable and works hard to achieve the image he wants.

I hope I do his images justice and I am very certain we will have another great shoot next time! :)

After excellent communication with Derek prior to the shoot, he turned up on time and very enthusiastic. He is a lovely man to be around and great company, with ideas for shots and able to give direction to the model as and when it is needed.

Derek put me at ease from the moment we met and we were able to have a fantastic shoot together, producing images which benefit both of our portfolios. He is a pleasure to work with and i hope to shoot with him again very soon! Highly recommended.

Had my second shoot yesterday with Derek at a lovely rural location.

Derek is very easy to get along with, professional and puts thought pre shoot into what types of images he wishes to achieve .

I would defintely recommend working with him and look forward to working with him again in the future .

Had my first shoot with Derek yesterday and it was absolutely brilliant :)

Great light, we found a great location which was fairly local to me and some lovely scenery to work with.

Derek is patient, very friendly (we could talk for England!) and made me feel totally comfortable throughout the entire shoot right from start to finish.

We got some great results at the end which were both happy with that deserved having a nice mug of tea afterwards to warm up as it was extremely cold!

I would not hesitate to work with Derek again or recommend him to other models and I really hope we can work together soon! :)

Had a fab shoot with Dereck, really had.fun as well as took hundreds of photographs and from what I saw of them he is a great photographer. Can't wait to see the rest if them and definately recommend him to amateurs and processional models alike. can't wait to shoot again with him and do more outside shots! Mel

Derek is a top bloke & photographer

very easy to talk to & the time flew :o)

produced some great images

then sat and looked through them with a cuppa tea & pancakes & cheese toasties.. well the least i could do is feed him .... haha

i would highly reccomend derek/glasgowboy to anyone, especially new models!!!
