We were pleased to welcome Derek to our studio for his first visit the other day and we hope it will be the first of many more.

Excellent pre shoot communications and planning. He arrived fully prepared for shoot and was a complete gentleman from start to finish.

Had a shoot with Derek at the Attic studio

And I think it went great, good communication prior and during the shoot, Derek made me feel comfortable and had lots of ideas for poses as well as a great eye for colours choosing different coloured backgrounds to work with my outfits.

I had my first shoot with derick, and it was definitely worth waiting for!

He is very professional in his photography, creative-great communication through the whole shoot.

Derick is very friendly and talented, he knows how to capture me in lots of great angles, very impressed.

We worked especially well together, with good ideas too,

We maneged to get some beautiful sheer and lingerie! Outdoors and indoors.

The Girl with Curves

I had the pleasure of working with Glasgow boy yesterday, and had a great shoot. We got through different looks and styles, and it was just nice and relaxed. We spent just as much time chatting as shooting! He was respectful of my levels, and was just a nice guy to shoot with. I can't wait to see the images!

The Attic Studio

Great to have Derek back to the studio again today, this time booked 1/2 a day with a model (Katey) on her model day.

A very polite gent who has every respect for the model he works with, it was obvious that model and photographer had spoken regard the shoot and from some of the back of camera shots it looks like they nailed it.

Great guy and great photographer, always welcome and recommended to all. Hope to see you in the near future.

I answered Derek's casting call for a shoot this week and despite some serious hot and humid weather we managed to create some beautiful images together, he expressed his vision and told me how to pose to suit the clothes we had chosen to his specifications. He's a little quiet which is actually really refreshing.

Happy to show me behind the camera too which is always a bonus.

Had a great fashion shoot today with Derek.

After a few false starts (original location swarming with black flies!!) we drove around until we found a better spot. Derek was so patient, ever so friendly to chat with and put me totally at ease. When we found somewhere, he made sure I was comfortable and we both knew what shots we were looking for.

Fantastic comms and lovely bloke. Would recommend.

Had a wonderful shoot with Derek, I can't recommend him enough. It's so refreshing to work with a photographer who loves to chat!

Derek got to the studio early to turn the heater on which was wonderful. The shoot was really productive we got a number of outfit changes in and he knew the shots he wanted and let me also get the shots I wanted. I can't wait to see the images, I'm already in the diary looking for when we can shoot next.

WOW!!! What an absolute gent and gem rolled into one!! Felt at ease through out the shoot, trialling so new ideas and also just doing some great fun shots - kept trying to compose the 'moody' look between bouts of laughter in conversation too.

Great communication ahead of the shoot, detailed what we would both like to achieve, great description so I could plan outfits etc

September Sparkles

Had my very first shoot with Derek at Solo Studio's in Leics. This one a planned Pinup/Lingerie shoot. What a lovely genuine guy.

Pre comms before the shoot were excellent. The shoot I found was relaxed, fun with lots of tea/coffee & biscuits along with easy conversation. Looking forward to seeing the images & I would definately recommend Derek 😊
