First time working with Derek at a group shoot, what a lovely guy!

Helpful with direction and trying various lightings and backdrops dependant on outfits.

He made me feel at ease which was a huge bonus.

Another wonderful shoot with Derek, this time he attended a workshop I organised at The Boardroom in Derby. We had been in talks about organising a shoot for a while after one falling through.

And after changing arrangements and details we managed to work together again on Saturday! As always Derek is really friendly, chatty, relaxed and genuinely lovely to be around.

He works really well with others and treats the studio with respect, he worked well in the space also despite it being a first visit!... He was more than happy to experiment and try new lighting and settings.... and was happy to take and give suggestions!...

All in all another lovely opportunity to work with Derek and some beautiful images taken!...

Thanks again Derek, as always highly recommended to models and studios!

I styled the hair for the day and upon arrival he showed himself to not only be a true gem of friendship, he also had the most amazing sense of humour. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting and working with Derek for the first time at my studio day at Solo Studio, and what a brilliant shoot it was.

Derek is awesome, easy to get on with and made me feel completely at ease. In the short time we had to work together I felt like I got to know him well and some of the shots we got I think are absolutely fab!

Derek is happy to go with the flow in terms of posing but gives great direction when it’s needed. I really enjoyed the shoot and hopefully it won’t be the last.

I definitely recommend working with Derek as he is brilliantly funny and great to work with. Can’t wait to see the results ;)

I met Derek today and we had fantastic shoot .. He arrived on Time and was very professional and very helpful with me getting into some of my crazy poses .. We talked and had a lot of fun .. I cannot wait to see the images ... Derek didn't make me feel uncomfortable in anyway shape or form ..

He took the images from great angles ; he was good at taking direction as well as awesome at giving them .. Overall we had a great a shoot ..

Would hope to shoot with him again if he will have me ..

I work with derek at alex's studio in Lincoln, I absolutely love modelling for him..

He is great with communication, always makes sure your smiling and calm... doesn't stress about images and just takes it all in his stride! The images we produced are seriously out of this world! I'm super happy with them!

Fun person to be around, great for getting the best images :) we did fashion and some lingerie.... some of my favourite shots yet!

Well what a wonderful second shoot with Derek, although I have to say it's been a rather long time coming (3 years!)

I do remember reaching out to Derek and before I knew it we had a second shoot booked in, comms were brilliant, we even came up with some rough ideas which certainly gave me a useful heads up!

We decided that whilst the weather was nice we would do some outside shot and I have to say they were my favourite from the day, gorgeous fashion shots!...

Derek certainly has an artistic eye for composition and angles etc!....

Even though it's been a while I felt like I was catching up with an old friend, we chatted, giggled and the shoot flew by!... What more can you ask for!...

Again it's a solid recommendation from me! And I hope we get to shoot again, maybe a little less time between though ;)

I had my first shoot with Derek at Map studio's yesterday. It was such a pleasure to work with this true gent. We only had a short time together but we definitely made the most out of it. We got in a variety of looks and styles plus a few extra unexpected ones, the time just flew by!

Derek was professional, polite and really easy to get along with. Not to mention his wonderful skills! From what I seen on the back of the camera, he really knows what he is doing and what he wants to achieve from each shoot.

I hope I get another opportunity to work with him!
