References for Zhènya

Just before the first covid lockdown, I had arranged a shoot with Zhenya in London. The day before the shoot, I cancelled because of my growing anxiety about travel.

Today on my first trip to London in over two years, I finally managed to photograph Zhenya. Of course, the universe did it's best to stop that shoot too ... it was the hottest day of the year and the room was oven-like.

Anyway, I got my shoot. Zhenya is a dream model. She looks beautiful (I was first attracted to her eyes ... probably my prime feature in selecting a model). As well as being beautiful, she's intelligent and very interesting to talk too.

I'd emphasized this was a lingerie shoot and Zhenya brought the appropriate outfits that fitted my description. That's always a big bonus. Zhenya was good at posing and provided her own input and suggestions. The shoot went well; it was four hours from portrait to nude.

When I came to pay, Zhenya pointed out that I'd paid a cancellation fee several years ago and she knocked that off the total (I'd forgotten about the cancellation fee). I was touched by her gesture. Moreover, she didn't worry about precise timing and she put all her effort into the shoot under very difficult (temperature) conditions.

If there were Purple Port equivalent of the Nobel Prize, Zhenya would win it!

I am delighted with the shoot and would strongly recommend Zhenya to photographers at all levels of experience.

All the pre-comms were timely and made organizing a shoot from across the ocean so much easier. She arrived at our shoot on time and posed professionally throughout our time. The result is a bunch of awesome images that I can’t wait to get back to Canada with to process.

Well Zhenya is absolutely brilliant, pre comms were great. I had thought she was close to my shoot location, but she’d travelled an hour and was bang on time.

In shoot she was excellent, demonstrated a wide variety of positioning and expressions and was very patient when we experimented with backings and light to get the desired shots. The results are excellent.

Very much looking forward to organising another shoot in the future. Can't recommend highly enough

What a shoot and what a model. Not only is Zhenya friendly and full of ideas she takes direction well and poses to perfection. She turned up on time and got cracking straight away. The results were great.. can't wait to shoot again

Well, what can I say. Zhenya had great pre comms. She had sourced some beautiful designer outfits and arrived early...even bringing along her own clothing steamer! Incredibly organised! We had a long shoot covering a number of styles and she was as fresh at the end as the start. She has a look the camera just loves and was such a pleasure to work with. Plenty of creative input and happy to take direction too.

I am delighted with what we achieved and already planning to work together again. Very highly recommended

Zhenya is a beautiful elegant model. She has beautiful figure and fantastic posing ability. In fact she is one of the top models I have worked with. It has been a year since my first shoot with the beautiful talented Zhenya and I can honestly say I am so glad I arranged to shoot with her again.

Zhenya is unique both with her exquisite beauty and amazing figure along with her amazing expressive eyes.

I completely forgot how amazing she is from the moment she arrived we ended up chatting for a bit over a coffee and then we went straight to shooting.

Zhenya once again did not disappoint and also had me laughing during many moments which made the whole shoot enjoyable. After shooting indoors we quickly shot outdoors on the street and she was just as relaxed as she was indoors and really loved the theme for the outdoors style.

What a great shoot with Zhenya, she turned up not really knowing what to expect and threw herself right at it from the get go. We ended up a little too close to an MOD base, but it was totally worth it for our pylon moment. She's a charming lady, who's extremely adaptable and I would highly recommend.

JenPS is a fantastic model who will make it big in modeling, be it here on PurplePort or elsewhere. She has a very good sense of what works in terms of looks and once you develop enough rapport, you can shoot fast and get great results. It’s also a very collaborative give-and-take process, with her coming up with poses and ideas of shots that she wants to see happen. She enjoys the process I think a lot more than an average model, so, when combined with stunning looks and a great sense of style, it’s a very powerful combination.

You find some models who turn up and shoot, you have other models like Zhenya who turns up on time, smile on face and says "so what are you thinking" and then will without hesitation take your lead. But the added bonus is her own creative and expressive mind that will take your idea and give you honest, constructive feedback that you end up buying into it and producing something amazing. She is someone you should listen to and respect as she has a wealth of knowledge on what looks good for her and for anyone just starting or restarting it is a great thing to have from a model.
