I was gifted a makeover, which was done by the lovely Somayya at Westfield Shepards Bush. I was blown away by how it turned out and received an item from their unique brand with nothing but organic products. I hope to work with them again in the future, thank you very much!

What an amazing, creative, fun, talented & lovely MUA Yasmine is!

I've had the pleasure of working with her on Monday and it was simply a joy! She has a great and positive energy, works fast and is very careful with applying make up. We worked on three different looks and she did an amazing job with all of them.

I can highly recommend working with Yasmine!

Thanks again

Most make-up Artists arrive at the studio using a car or maybe public transport. Having said that, I have had others arrive by canoe, alpaca-led chariot, space hopper and one arrived riding on an actual, real eagle. Whilst not quite to the bird of prey standard, Yasmine was obviously out to make an impression by bounding into view using jumping stilts. If you aren't familiar with jumping stilts, they are a similar concept to former Paralympian-turned girlfriend murderer, Oscar Pistorius. A flexible blade, strapped to each leg, bends and preloads energy before releasing this energy in the form of forward or upward motion in a spring-like movement as the blade returns to it's original shape. As a result, it is possible to jump like a gazelle and with training, run at speeds of up to 35 miles-per-hour. On this occasion, Yasmine was carrying her make-up and equipment, so I was not expecting her to be able to exceed any speed limits, but it did not affect her agility. Taking a short run-up, Yasmine somersaulted over the high metal gates, using the energy recaptured upon landing to leap the three-stories and into the open window of the studio. I don't know how she knew which window belonged to the studio, as she'd never been there. I guess some people just know these things...

The model arrived and Yasmine started working on her. Most Make-Up Artists take several minutes to create perfect results, but not Yasmine. She works so quickly. During communications pre-shoot, we had agreed that the model would not be painted like a clown, so Yasmine did not do this, instead creating wonderful looks and didn't even complain when I explained everything through the medium of interpretive dance. As I gyrated and spun in my neon green unitard, Yasmine knew what I needed an captured it perfectly using lipstick and mascara.

At the end of the shoot, Yasmine climbed into a very large mailing envelope and was collected by DPD and delivered back home. It was probably the best day of my life.
