The thing is, there's an inherent problem with having a reputation. It precedes you. And it comes with an awful lot of expectations.

Xenia has an awesome reputation, round these 'ere parts. But since I was introduced to her by the faultless Phil Lynam I had no fear.

And lo, it came to pass . . . were my expectations to be missed, met or exceeded?

From the second I walked into the studio I knew they would be exceeded. The glint in Xenia's eyes let me know immediately that I was in for a fun and productive afternoon.

Xenia's not only beautiful, but also great fun, very creative and a hard worker. And funny - very very funny :-).

I knew we were going to be shooting neon awesomeness but I had arranged a surprise . . . a 10' by 6' inflatable pool and 1,200 multicoloured plastic balls (you know, like ball pit balls).

Ha ha, what a stroke of genius. Xenia couldn't wait to get going so we started with the pool. Damn, I've never had so much fun on a shoot. Not just fun, but incredibly creative too.

We also shot a few other portrait scenarios - outfits, gels and backdrops. All were winners! In fact, I do believe I've shot my favourite image to date. So good, I don't even think I shot it!

Xenia was a revelation. The ideal package. Looks, skills, imagination, chat, humour, styling, energy and collaboration.

I had a wonderful shoot and can't wait to work with Xenia again. She is highly recommended to one and all. Well, to all nice creatives that want to produce awesome imagery.

Xenia is an utter delight xxx.

I finally got to shoot with Xenia today after quite some time thinking about involving her in a quite complex project that required a lot of motion -- and patience -- from the model. I knew from looking at the pictures in her portfolio that she had experience with movement, and she was able to pose expressively, so I really wanted to try working with her.

Boy, I'm glad I did it! She was absolutely phenomenal!

She immediately connected with the project and was involved in the making during the whole four hours. She interacted with the lights and the framing of the image in a way that made it very easy for me to compose arresting images. She also listened to every single piece of feedback that I gave her during the session, making each new pose stronger and more emotion-charged than the previous one.

I also really enjoyed her presence on set. She's fun to talk to during downtime to just the right side of crazy. She also pulls amazing faces and plays with the camera a lot -- almost impossible to get a weak image!

What else can I say?! A model to work with if you want to create compelling and emotional images. But also versatile enough to become anything the narrative of the project needs, from a delicate and ethereal fairy to a mysterious femme fatale.

Nothing short of amazing. Thank you so much for working with me. Let's work again soon!

The Boardroom

Had a second shoot with the amazing Xeniamodel, with a new hairdo ta boot! Our first shoot was so brilliant, I was so hyped to go again, and I was not disappointed one bit. Xenia arrived with a cool case full of new clobber and a head full of ideas and was eager to get started, after a cuppa tea obvs (she’s gone native). We worked with gels and natural light, and Xenia posed beautifully – so many great images, and so excited to get started on them.

We have also arranged a couple of Studio days for Xenia at The Boardroom too, highly recommended from me!

Finally got the chance to shoot with the lovely Xenia after 3 attempts,it was well worth the trip even though I knew it would be. Despite the time I got to Sheffield we managed to get some fantastic shots.

Xenia is a great model to work with she is a born natural , posing without any direction which made my job easy.

Lots of outfits to pick and choose from which was fantastic. Shame I didn’t get to finish my tea though it was very nice.

I would jump at the opportunity of shooting with Xenia again, well recommended you won’t be disappointed. Thanks again Xenia x

Xenia is such a great model to work with from start to finish. Her pre comms were great and we sorted out a studio that she recommended - Space 63 in Hackney. We were really lucky with the gorgeous morning sunshine and we took full advantage by shooting outside which she was more than happy to do. She maintained great eye contact, got herself into really creative poses and had great ideas for outfits, lighting suggestions and use of locations.

Xenia is one of the most expressive models I have worked with and I would 100% recommend her and look forward to the next time we shoot!

I had a great shoot with Xeniamodel as part of a group shoot at Studio3severn. The shoot was a 3 hour duration covering levels up to lingerie. Xenia was lovely from first introductions right through to the last minute working hard to ensure each of the five photographers got the opportunity to get some amazing shots. All requests of Xenia were listened to and delivered with great professionalism, I had a great time and got some fantastic shots. I would certainly recommend Xenia to both novice and professional photographers.

Met Xenia at a group shoot organised by David Severn in Nottingham and soon realised that this jewel of a model existed in my own back garden.

My first shoot with one of the most beautiful and talented models I have worked with. I really can’t stress how good Xenia is. I have been following her for so long now and always loved her images so when I seen her casting in a studio not to far from me I booked it straight away.

Her skills as a model will just blow you away her posing was just perfection. but her people skills is what stands out. Xenia is so friendly and chatty with an fantastic sense of humour a few hours shoot with her will just fly by.
