Wolf Cottage Studio's is one of the best studio's I've had the pleasure of modeling in- a brillant space full of amazing sets and props. Run by the super freindly and lovely Caroline and Andrew. Everything you could need for a shoot, they have- lights, backdrops, sets and with caroline being the inhouse MUA, its a win win, all round :) love this place and hope to be back soon. totally recommend 100%

I being a first time model with my very first shoot ever, I tagged along with another model and man when I say the atmosphere is amazing, they were so polite and helping especially me being a first time model they made me feel beyond comfortable, along with help me get my first couple photos under my belt. Amazing studio as well lots of props set up great lighting an fixtures made for some outstanding shots for all models there. I thank them for the great experience i was giving and definitely look forward to meeting up this location again . I would 100 percent recommend them to anyone !

Fabulous facilities with support as much or as little I needed. Where else will you find a beach hut scene in the fens, a carriage fit for a prince or for a highway man to rob and an Arab tent created in the studio and lit as beautifully as a giant light box. Caroline and Andrew don't just look after your photographic needs both in their studio and extensive grounds but made sure I had a model at short notice and added everything from smoke to bubbles and ducks!! I am already looking forward to going back.

I've had the great fortune to have shot at Wolfe Cottage a number of times now, and to my shocking realisation, I've not left a reference for my recent foray into photographical mayhem at their wonderful place.

My latest shoot was with a model whose last shoot was with me nearly a year ago and was wanting to get back into the flow of shooting again but to different levels.

I threw some ideas I had to the model and to Andrew and Caroline, to which they both threw themselves into meeting my requirements.

Caroline was going to have to use her new airbrushing MUA skills and Andrew was going to be discretely(due to model's new levels she was wanting to shoot for the first time) assisting, despite him being very poorly recently and still recovering.

As always, Caroline and Andrew went beyond what can be expected and produced some great make up on my model and provided the ever welcome support with lighting, smoke etc when needed and, wobbled my EL Wires around to great effect, on some long exposure lighting effects stuff I was wanting to shoot within a theme.

Andrew and Caroline, not only support what you want to do, but throw themselves into the creative process and obviously revel in what they do.

The studio is great, always clean, presentable and ready to shoot, (unlike some studios) and Caroline and Andrew are wonderfully friendly and capable hosts.

Yeah ok,lol I suppose do recommend all photogs and models shoot there whenever they can.

Thank you both, especially for being a stabilising factor towards a model's boyfriend, who stayed through a recent shoot and obviously didn't want his girl to be a model.

As is say, all above and beyond the call ;0)

Sorry, this is a day or so late.

What a marvelous day! Couple of great models,Shannon harwood, and a rather superb if a little reluctant faith, one of the bird handlers. And then there were the birds of course. Sadly it was a tad too windy to let them fly outside, but the studio setup allowed me to get some in-flight shots like I've never tried before, so that more than made up for it. andrew and caroline were charming hosts and Andrew is clearly a wildlife enthusiast so I was able to learn lots from him too. Meanwhile, Caroline produces yummy cake and great costumes. It's a great package.

July sees the return of the wolves so I must book a place. :)

Had a great afternoon at Wolfe Cottage Studio for the Birds of Prey workshop. Very well organised, two great models, Shannon Harwood and Faith, both dressed in wonderful costumes by Caroline. In flight shots of a Barn Owl in the studio were impressive too. Andrew and Caroline are excellent hosts making sure everyone is looked after.

Highly recommended!

Great shoot today at Wolfe Cottage organised by Andrew and Robin Lowry of Imperial Birds of Prey Academy.

Also supported by several models including Shannon Harwood who were all superbly dressed for the part.

I will certainly look to return for another of their workshop sessions.

A fabulous atmosphere to shoot the amazing birds of the Imperial Bird of Prey Academy, Billericay Essex supported by not one but two superb photographers Robert Lowry a bird of prey photographer of international renown who helped me obtain shots I would not have thought possible and Andrew (of Wolfe Cottage) for his support and encouragement. Models who were willing to go the extra mile with their medieval, period clothing (created in the main by Caroline with realism) and their 20th century makeup supporting and holding the beautiful birds so one could have been back in the court of Kings Richard or John or in the presence of one of Robin Hood's merry band (although far more attractive). Fabulous weather could only but add to the atmosphere and others to support our needs in holding reflectors and the team of bird wranglers who knew their charges intimately and got the best out of them for us although the sight of one starting to scale a tall tree to encourage a recalcitrant buzzard back to stardom was going beyond the extra mile. My grateful thanks to all and I look forward to returning to this oasis of excellence in the countryside. I will certainly be back.

I have just spent the weekend at Wolfe Cottage and and it's been one of the best weekends of my life!

Between falling in love with the most gorgeous owls, and some crazy/awesome costumes, I also met some fantastic people.

It was such an amazing experience topped off with hospitality from Caroline and Andrew like non other.

The atmosphere with the groups was always so friendly - with Andrew always on hand to help, with technical knowledge (and more importantly, hair fixing ;) ) it really was relaxed environment and I've already seen some great shots come back

Caroline also makes some of the loveliest costumes I have ever seen along with some pretty lovely food

I could go on and on about how great this weekend was but hand on heart I honestly cannot recommend these guys more and roll on the next time!

I like the question 'Did Wolfe Cottage show up' the answer is yes and it shows up rather well !

Having just completed yet another shoot there I am happy to report another string to the Wolfe Cottage bow. For some time they have offered accommodation to Models doing weekend studio days. Well they will now accommodate itinerant Togs as well and I was the first happy client to take advantage of their splendid hospitality.

Now to the shoot. A fabulous models named Mischkah was there the whole weekend with an endless string of Togs waiting for their turn to produce wonderful images.

I did a studio weekend at Wolfe Cottage recently and have to say how highly I recommend the owners and the facilities, I also didn't need to advertise the event as Andrew and Caroline filled the weekend! Brilliant. Loved it, great food, great company - clean, welcoming & professional. Despite a minor hiccup with timings everything went smoothly and everyone left happy...especially me:-)

I have used this studio several times now both for model shoots and family and everyday shoots. Very impressed with both Caroline for her make up work and Andrew for running a well equiped and clean studio. He is always ready to help with lighting if you need it and to act as a pair of hands around the studio as you shoot. BUT he never takes over. Recommend this studio to both photographers and models.

Keep an eye out for his model days they are always well run and relaxed

I had a shoot at Wolfe Cottage Studio recently. Its easy to get to and the owners were very welcoming. I felt completely comfortable there. The facility's are top notch and the location is so pretty. I would highly recommend it to all photographers and models for use of studio and location. Will defiantly work there again. xx

I thought I'd try out Wolfe Cottage Studio as they are close to me and I'd heard good things, and I'm very pleased that I did! Booking a couple of hours on a studio day with Rosa Brighid was made easy by Andrew, and both Andrew and Caroline were very welcoming when I turned up for the shoot.

Andrew was extremely helpful, showing me around the studio and everything it has to offer (including the outside spaces they have available), providing assistance with the lighting and checking that I had everything I needed. Caroline's make-up work was excellent, a brilliant addition.

The studio is very well equipped, all sorts of lighting options and plenty of props to work with. I'm sure I'll be back!

I went to the studio with Zara Watson for her studio weekend and we stayed with Andrew and Caroline in their beautiful home. We were totally looked after and although I personally wasn't working at the weekend I will certainly go back and do workshops there. Both Andrew and Caroline - apart from being lovely people - are very professional and have the models interests at heart. The equipment is excellent and the studio is a very good size and set in a beautiful and peaceful location.

It was a pleasure meeting and helping out at the studio and I look forward to going back. I would definitely recommend any photographer or model to shoot there. They have 2 adorable huskies that even a cat person like me completely adored.

I had a brilliant Studio weekend at Wolfe Cottage Studio. :D The Studio is fab and well equipped. The model changing area is perfect, and has everything you need. The studio is kept lovely and warm....which I was very grateful of, as i'm a cold bod! :D The Studio owners Andrew and Caroline are both extremely lovely people! They made me feel so welcome and looked after me so well, over and above what I would ever expect, they are very kind :) I had a really fun time, they are great people to work with and great company. They are professional, friendly and helpful to everyone who comes to the studio. They are also trustworthy and respectful. I would highly recommend this Studio to photographers, models and anyone in need of a great studio space in a beautiful location.

well, what can I say about this studio and their owners.....

Fab studio space, all the kit and caboodle you'd wish for as a model and a photographer. A great group of regular photographers and 2 absolutely amazing hosts, all in one place!!

I stayed at the studio owners' house with their 2 absolutely adorable huskies, and had a glass of wine and a good chin wag to finish the evening off.

I couldn't have asked for a better evening at Wolfe cottage. I am very grateful for the welcome I got, and the hospitality I received.

I shall certainly be back there again!!

This is a reference for two days! The first is for my studio day at Wolfe Cottage, on 30th Jan. Andrew kindly invited my to co-host a studio day after my studio evening last year and I was very glad to accept :) He advertised it really well, and we had a fully booked day! I got to play on the studio pole and hoop again :) They also put me up over the whole weekend and Caroline fed me and kept me in coffee and G+Ts (post shoot only! :) ) despite my annoying dietary requirements. They are lovely hosts, and looked after me really well. Andrew made sure I was happy and safe despite my tendency to push myself a bit too hard trying to get shots!

The second reference is for the 31st Jan, when I worked with them on their Game of Thrones inspired project! I got to wear Caroline's superbly handsewn Danaerys dresses and act all queenly - it was great fun. Andrew had reference images and a huge amount of work had gone into preparing for the shoot, which is doubly impressive knowing both Andrew and Caroline had been unwell for several weeks in Jan. I will of course be returning to Wolfe Cottage as soon as they will have me back and recommend the studio to models and photographers :)

This evening I attended their fast cars and faster women event... Well who wouldn't want to shoot three million pounds worth of cars and a stunning model draped across them, in not much clothing? Andrew was on hand to help with lighting and had drafted in the owner of the cars to help with positioning and advise on best angles if needed. A brilliant event and despite it being a bit chilly everyone was super friendly.

Again, if you haven't booked, or considered a studio yet... Come to Wolfe Cottage for you're first time and you'll have a brilliant time. Thanks again. I shall return. 😊
